Urgh. It’s frustrating to know that Hakuouki Tennun (the new fandisk) has an entirely discussion between Harada and Chizuru under the moonlight about how Harada knows Tani Sanjuro (the seventh captain), his days at Osaka and differents topics which build their relationship and give more depth about Harada.
Also it’s a nice reference and link with Hakuouki Reimeiroku when Shimada said he learned at Tani’s dojo (please read @koto-wari fantrad it’s good)(and Fujita’s one was a good enter too)
Why all the context I need are in fandisks and prequel not translated T_T ?!

sorry this is late... but I've come down with chills, which is unfortunately unsurprising given how that happens when I go from a hot environment to a cool one... and I've just been tired and doing a lot of sleeping early... or passing out? 😂 Honestly, I almost never sleep before 10pm so it's been nice to indulge in being lazy... even if it's due to feeling a bit off.
Anyway, I haven't decided if I want to bother with cramming in two more of these "moments" before next thursday since I need to get to the artist's notes for Deemo... but w/e! Enjoy!
Also, the tl I've referenced isn't entirely consistent with the honorifics so I've put in what I think they are.

The duty I was requested by Hijikata-san today was to help Yamazaki-san boil medicine for the team members.

"——I'm sorry, Yukimura-kun. I've kept you waiting."
The owner of the room opened the door and poked his inside as he spoke quietly.
"Yamazaki-san, I started first, is that alright?"

Yamazaki-san sat down in front of me, and narrowed his eyes as he looked at the notebook and spoke.

"Three moments of time* will be from day until night...!"
T/N: I think this is based on the wadokei, the old Japanese way of telling time... which divided the day into 12 hours... or alternatively, it's based on rokuji, which divided a day into 6 periods of time... and I have no idea how best to word these "periods".
While quickly catching up to Yamazaki-san who was leaving, I prayed in my for Nomura-kun's fate.

means doesn't really make anything seem auspicious?

Sorry this is late... but I was pretty busy yesterday, and I likely will have to push next week's translation to the following Monday or Tuesday as I'll be travelling soon and won't have access to my laptop for a period of time... alternatively, I'll just translate more next Thursday because this story has 12 sections, one for each of the routes.
Though I'm having eye problems again so maybe not... 😢

Note up top... so before all the "x character moment" text, there's a term... which I'm not entirely sure what to do with. I'm pretty sure there are Japanese equivalents of what the hour ranges are referred to, but I've left them as they are in Chinese since I'm not sparing time to fix things right now but the range of time themselves are then specified in the "《X~Y o'clock》" part that follows after. I have no idea if it's like that in the booklet, but as it was in the tl I translated, I decided to keep it as is.
Maoshi · Souma Moment 《5~7 o'clock》
Everyday, I always begin with hearing birdsongs.
"......Nn.....Nnn......"
The singing voices of the sparrows that rested in the backyard served in place as an alarm clock and reverberated into my eyes.
I wanted to sleep a bit more, I tried to say so as my eyelids fluttered...
The hazy morning light came in through the sliding door and caressed my cheeks.
"......Is it.... morning..... already.......?"
To be honest, I didn't sleep last well last night, but it was my turn to cook breakfast today….
As someone in the care of the Shinsengumi, I can't procrastinate.
