A ctivities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?

Andi: Asra and Andi can go from surprise impromptu trips all over to spending days inside just enjoying each other’s company. They talk about the books they’ve been reading, a new magic theory they want to try, or really anything on their mind (See: Asra is definitely a real life shit poster who wakes Andi up at 2am to ask if cucumbers have feelings. Andi calmly replies yes and leaves a horrified Asra to think about that for the rest of the night). Though they enjoy equally as comfortable silences where they go about their hobbies just happy to be in the same room.

Cleo: Muriel spends quite a bit of free time trying to keep up with Cleo. Introvert/Extrovert relationship style 😂 Cleo is constantly reminding him that he’s able to say no with no repercussions but Muriel smiles and admits he likes their little adventures. Midnight trips to stargaze in the flowering field, afternoon tea with Portia on her day off, foraging with Asra for food or ingredients, sitting by the window and just watching the rain. Cleo appreciates every moment knowing that she wasn’t always allowed to make her own choices so she takes full advantage to be happy.

N icknames - What do they call their s/o?

Andi: Andi always goes by her nickname since Andraste is much longer. As teenagers Asra used to call her “Andi Candy” though and she called him “As’” but post-death they both usually use cute nicknames like “My love” or “Beloved”.

Cleo: Pre-Death, Lucio called her “‘Lo” or “Princess” and she called him “Monty”. Post-Death, Cleo uses terms of endearment for Muriel like “Lovely”, “My love”, or “My dear” in various languages. Muriel gets too embarrassed and mostly sticks to her name.

G ratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

Andi: Andi was always grateful to Asra for taking care of her when she lost her memories and after the truth came out she felt all the weight of what he did. Sometimes Andi will just stop and feel her heart beat, it reminds her that Asra gave half his heart to bring her back to life. She knows he risked everything and before that he wanted nothing more than join her. Despite Asra saying he doesn’t expect anything from her she still feels like she should do things for him. From unsuccessfully cooking dinner to surprising him with new scarves at random moments. Asra was one of the first people that made her feel important, he was willing to sacrifice anything to get her back, he took on the responsibility of the entire shop (by himself!) because it was important to her. Not to mention the three years he had to teach her how to function again (Andi wishes she could forget those embarrassing times).

Cleo: Cleo respects Muriel’s decision to have Asra take care of her. She understands how much it must have hurt to lose her, grieve, and then suddenly she’s back. The pain and confusion would be a lot for anyone and even more for poor Muriel who had experienced horrible trauma his whole life.

S upport - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?

Andi: Andi supports Asra 99% of the time! (When he dragged home a very drunk Julian after a night out insisting that he could cure Andi, she declined but at least put them both in a bed with water next to them). Andi is always on board with traveling somewhere new, checking out dangerous places, and even when Asra wanted to start a family.

Cleo: Cleo was ecstatic when Muriel came home with the idea to open his old village to the orphans of Vesuvia. She always encouraged Muriel but respected his boundaries and never pushed. When he finally had something he wanted so much, Cleo was on it! She organized supplies, convinced Julian to help, traveled with Muriel and the refugees, and spends a lot of her time building up the new community.

T hrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?

Andi: Asra and Andi are both adventurous people and they like new things but don’t need them. They both appreciate any time they have together and the surprises just add to the fun!

Cleo: Muriel likes routine and Cleo is perfectly happy with obliging. Cleo knows she asks a lot of her introverted husband so she keeps some stability in their lives. They’re not strict in their routine but it does bring comfort for two people who’ve had a lot of unpleasant surprises.
