I understand the name thing, my birth name is Holly and I absolutely despise it. It has no meaning(that I know of) and it sounds wrong whenever someone talks to me using it. I chose the name Helen because it means Torch of Light and when it's put together with my middle name, Renee, it means Torch of Light Reborn. My dad's side of the family refuses to call me Helen though so that's really annoying. (My mom calls me Hel and it's hilarious watching the confusion on some people's faces!)

Uh, I’m not good at explaining this mess since it’s all self taught and I don’t know what ANY of it is called, but this is how I edit? There are waaaay better editors out there to be getting an idea off of, I’m always watching ones like XElectrica, shayne, or HeichouSWAGx.

The first image is what Vegas looks like when I’m working. It has layers, kinda like GIMP, or Photoshop. The file window below it is what my project folders usually look like - I have them sorted by AU / Character, sometimes by age, like childhood/adulthood. 90% of my editing is just chopping up still images so I can throw them back together. The part of the video where aizawa’s paperwork is piling up is the first panel of snajey’s second traitor AU comic, chopped into 6 different images by erasing bits and pieces.

Next to that is the program I currently use, and the program I used the longest.  I got Vegas Pro like... a year ago-ish? It’s absurdly expensive. Like, $600 expensive. I cried when I saw it on Humble Bundle. I know that sounds dumb, but I never could’ve afforded it otherwise. Movie Studio, on the other hand, I bought at best buy not long after it came out (2011). It was like $40 bucks? And money VERY well spent - it’s a very stripped down version of Pro, but I don’t think there’s a better video editor out there under $100. There’s a newer version now that’s apparently even better.

The bottom is a comparison of Pro and Movie Studio’s workspace, just to give you an idea. The top half of the screen, where the preview window & menus are, is virtually identical between the two. If you wanna msg me I can give you a better breakdown but this is getting kinda long and I don’t know how much info you wanTED-

Oh I hadn't noticed that you already talked about it!! I absolutely love that idea of Toni as the Goblin Queen! (it's extremely tempting to draw her in one of Jareth's outfits, she'd look amazing in them.) Would she be able to transform into an animal? What animal would it be? Are the challenges in the Labyrinth the same or different? Who keeps her company in the castle? I have so many questions about this au but here are a few!

It’s all good babe.

She would look glorious in one of Jareth’s outfits so I am nothing but encouraging if that’s a road you wanna go down.

I’d say yeah she’d transform.  I see her as a raven for bird of choice instead of Jareth’s owl.

The challenges would probably be a mix of old and new with a few twists.  Rhodey obviously keeps her company in the castle, as well as her goblins.

I adore this Au too.

Mo Dao Zu Shi AU, If you don't know about it it's a Chinese novel, Manhua and Donghua! It's amazing and I really think you would like it! (The first 76 chapters of the novel are translated, there are 40-something chapters of the manhua translated, and there are fifteen episodes for the Donghua so far.)

I keep seeing it on my dash and it totally looks like something I’d love so I’m adding it to my list of stuff to watch asap.

Toni Stark, filthy rich and famously beautiful, takes over the bookshop that her beloved butler/father figure Edwin Jarvis opened in his twilight years.  Running the place helps her feel closer to him, helps her deal with the choking grief of his loss.

What she’s not counting on is running face first into the co-owner of the florist next door.

Bucky Barnes is handsome, intense, and also a war vet sporting one of her new prosthetic arms. 

And, most surprising of all, he seems to have absolutely no idea who Toni is.

What's teen Toni's fashion style? (14-16)

Pre-Stone and Rhodey it’s hair down, mainly long sleeves and shorts or blue jeans.  Things she can use to cover her hands (sweater paws) and the like.  Mostly regular teenager stuff if high quality and expensive as Jarvis is the one who mainly buys clothes for her.

Then it’s sweatshirts she’s stolen from Rhodey, a leather jacket that looks like his, hair up, shorts/skirts and polos and band tees that gap/bag a bit so she has to tie them at the waist because they may or may not belong to Rhodey.

Overall very comfortable and casual as she hasn’t yet made the decision to put on her next set of armor yet.

Well if the way she reacted during her and Rhodey’s ultimately disastrous Disney Land trip where her prized souvenir is a completed Princess autograph book, probably with unbridled delight and over-protectiveness.

Because the Princesses are all, mostly, kids, teenagers.  And Toni’s would want to Protect.
