I've seen too many complaints of the severe lack of Horrible Histories songs on Spotify - so here are all songs from seasons 1-5!

(Disclaimer: they're not all perfect!! Whether an issue with the original source or the recording software I used, I don't know, but the only issues are small cuts / crackles of static. Still entirely listenable!)

FUN GOOD OMENS HISTORY FACT:

Aziraphale mentions a series of times he did the "I was wrong" dance:

1793 was during the French Revolution

1941 was obviously the Blitz

But interestingly, we haven't really seen them in the 1600s, and he specifically mentions doing it in 1650

And presuming they were in England/the UK at the time,

It's likely Aziraphale is referring to the English Civil War. A conflict between the "Cavaliers" (Royalists) and the "Roundheads" (Parliamentarians) that ranged from 1642 to 1651

One major battle, the battle of Dunbar, took place in 1650. And saw the Roundhead forces lead by Oliver Cromwell, defeat a Cavalier aligned Scottish army.

Oliver Cromwell went on to be the leader of England after King Charles the 2nd was beheaded and the monarchy was (temporarily) abolished all together

im not a horrible histories kid like I really don't know anything about it but. good lord dick turpin highwayman is cunty. a serve if you will. the whole song is a fucking bop that's like "I wasn't cool, I was a lame asshole, don't idolize me" and then they made him look like this.
