Tamagotchi Nano Concept: Puss in Boots Tamagotchi (Pussagotchi)

I’ve been obsessed with Tamagotchi Nanos (the type of Tamagotchi usually made for licensed characters), so I thought “What if Puss in Boots: The Last Wish got Tamagotchi Nanos?” Here’s what they would be like.

Designs:

The Pussagotchi would come in 4 designs: three for the members of Team Friendship, and one for Goldilocks. I also thought there would be a Wishing Star one exclusive to the HugmyTamagotchi style of this model (figures shaped like characters that can hold your Tamagotchi Nano), similar to how the TinyTan HugmyTamagotchi models had a special design for the Tamagotchi bundled with those figures. The figures you can choose from included with the HugmyTamagotchi variants are Puss, Kitty, Perrito, and Goldilocks.

Overview of Tamagotchi:

In this version, the user first cares for Puss in Boots, who can evolve into other versions of himself or other characters from the movies. When the time is set, an animation depicting the opening scene of the Last Wish where Puss comes out from behind a curtain at a party plays. Within 24 hours, Puss will evolve. The evolutions are based on care quality, what games were played, and/or how many perfect games were played. The characters all go to bed at 9:00PM and wake up at 7:00AM.

Evolutions:

Kitty: Good care, win Dance Battle 5 times or more

Perrito: Good care, feed lots of snacks

Goldilocks: Average care, win Escape from the Factory! 5 times or more

Mama Bear: Average care, win Avoid the Blades! 5 times or more

Papa Bear: Average care, feed lots of snacks

Baby Bear: Poor care, win Avoid the Blades! 5 times

Humpty Dumpty: Poor care

Jack Horner: Poor care, win Escape from the Factory! 5 times or more

Caped Puss (from the milk death): Good care, win Avoid the Blades! 5 times or more

Running of the Bulls Puss: Good care, win Escape from the Factory! 5 times or more

Special evolutions:

Shrek: Evolves from Caped Puss with continued good care after 24 hours and winning 15 games of Avoid the Blades!

Buff Puss: Evolves from Running of the Bulls Puss with good care after 24 hours

Masked Kitty: Evolves from Kitty Softpaws after 24 hours with continued good care and winning Dance Battle 15 times

Cat Disguise Perrito: Evolves from Perrito with continued good care and winning Escape from the Factory! 15 times

Games:

Avoid the Blades!: Puss will be trying to escape from some bad guys at a party. Pressing the A and B button to make him move up and down to avoid the blades. Avoiding 20 blades is a perfect game.

Escape from the Factory!: Puss and Kitty will try to escape from Jack Horner as they take the Wishing Star Map. The user has 10 seconds to press the A button to help Puss and Kitty get away as fast as they can from the factory.

Dance Battle: Puss will have a dance battle with Kitty Softpaws. The user must press the corresponding buttons to what is displayed on screen either once or twice. Failing to respond in time or pressing the wrong button will cause Puss to fall down. 5 times of properly responding to the instructions is a perfect game.

Bandai Namco US Lists Tokyo Revengers Preorders on Amazon

If you’re a Tokyo Revengers fan, you’re in for a treat! Bandai Namco US is bringing the Tokyo Revengers Tamagotchi over from Japan. Just listed on the official Tamagotchi store on Amazon is the complete lineup that Bandai Japan announced back in late August, they just recently were released in Japan in March 2023!

You’ll find the Tamagotchi Nano x Tokyo Revengers - Tokkofuku which is the only Tokyo Revengers Tamagotchi you can get alone, the others are exclusive to Hug My Tamagotchi sets. The Tokkofuku Tamagotchi Nano is listed at $24.99. The Hug My Tamagotchi sets include Manjiro, Draken, Chifuyu, and Takemichi. All of the Hug My Tamagotchi sets are listed at $44.99.

Both the Tokyo Revengers Tamagotchi Nano and the Tokyo Revengers Hug My Tamagotchi sets are listed for preorder now with a release date of May 23rd, 2023. These will most likely be the exact versions sold in Japan which feature minimum on screen Japanese verbiage. Place your preorders!

TinyTAN Hugmy Tamagotchi Packaging Revealed at 2022 San Diego Comic-Con!

San Diego Comic-Con sure was the place to be! Looks like Bandai Namco US is giving us a glimpse into what the packaging will look like for the TinyTAN Hugmy Tamagotchi, and spoiler alert, it’s adorable! The packaging will be in either red or yellow and feature an image of the TinyTAN character, along with some graphics and a display of all the Hugmy sets on the right side of the packaging.

Only the TinyTAN Hugmy Tamagotchi set will feature the black TinyTAN Tamagotchi shell. Currently they are set to be released in Japan in September of 2022, and North America in January of 2023.
