Hiii, welcome to my blog-

I'm Phantaemon, but people usually call me Phanta, or Phantom, because why bother spelling my complicated username when I'm comfy with these too/j

I'm also known as Stirhy and Vantablack Huestorm on other platforms.

Music: Tends to change overtime, rn I'm really into breakcore, vocaloid, MCR and Sonic Frontiers' OST for some reason (PLEASE listen to the cyberspace soundtracks, or the boss songs, I'm begging you.)

Frontiers progress

100% Kronos Island and I’m like halfway through Ares I think

Alot of neat things happen so let’s roll it down. (def Spoilers if u haven’t gone ahead now)

- Its only the first island and the Koco lore already gone dark I honestly didn’t expect that so soon mannn.

- Like I did get the Egg Memo beforehand which talk bout the Ancients being related Chaos which of course made more intridge considering he’s a muntated chao so it leaning further on the Chao and Koco being linked in that sense.

- Mama and child Koco dying and Sonic and Amy being like wut was me too.

- It does lead to a really good scene for Amy at the end tho I like how they handled her and her interaction with Sonic. They are wholesome hedgehogs who support each other.

- I will say compare to how huge Ares is, Kronos is def a good start island to go through, big euongh to explore and search every nook but small euongh to not be overwhelming. Plus the OST is soothing.

- Also mann the lost ssay child memes regarding Sage, its just more amusing of Sonic trying wrangle any infomation from her and she’s like “my dad said I’m not allow to talk to strangers”

- Her reasonings of going after Sonic are so petty but in character for eggman to program a AI to be like that.

- I also never expect Eggman becoming a dad arc for this game but I kinda luv how in the memos he’s slowly having a parental instinct for Sage. I appreciate finally stating his Maria so that’s cool.

- lowkey wish Sage is kinda mainstay and doesn’t die or something this dynamic too amusing to past up.

- Anywho Ares is the reason u wanna cram that speed setting to the max cause wwoow its huge.

- I would say I like Shark more than Squid since it was easier to beat down but also kinda takes soo long, I think Sumo is the better boss with the cool wall mechanic. (the tanks can screw it tho)

- I miade jokes how long it took me to find and save knuckles cause I get distracted of every new thing I find here lol.

- Knuckles is great btw at the rate the main core 4 def been getting the best characterization this generation.

- I saw the jokes but yea their first interaction really screams bisexual energy. thr Sonamy and Sonknux fans are gonna get so much food this game lol.

- still pretty whatever on cyberspace, I can get the needed keys just fine but not in a hurry to S rank them.

- Btw it took me way too long to get Soap shoes but i got it and I’m not removing them.

But yea enjoying the game, I’ve heard Chaos Island def had some sort of difficutly spike so we’ll see.

Miku.EXE : The Resurrection Pt.4.5

Sonic : Ok, I’m need to get into contact with Tails. Maybe we need some help from someone.

*SA1 SFX : Dash Panel*

Sonic : Hmm…He should be here. Where could everybody be here right now? Eggman is definitely doing something once he created this "Sage" person.

(BEEPING)

Sonic : Hm? A call from Tails? Maybe that will help.

Tails (Via Communicaror) : Sonic. Can you hear me?

Sonic : Hey, Tails. What's up?

Tails : Thank goodness! You're alright.

Sonic : Any luck of this mysterious "Miku.EXE" girl?

Tails : Well apparently, there might be some minor circumstances of these strange occurrence happening over here. We should go talk to Balan and Nights to figure out this Miku.EXE scheme. I'm gonna ask the Chaotix to gather the information from Sonic.EXE's database and find out who this Miku.EXE person was.

Sonic : Sounds great to me, Tails. Let Knuckles and me do the investigation first, we'll definitely get to the bottom of this.

Tails : Good! Loud and clear!

Knuckles : So, you think that Sonic.EXE exists again? Wait, you already said that EXE has been living in the shadows for a long time! We're not Mystery-solving teenagers that are really liking to solving cases of a crime or a murder. I felt sorry for Miku being framed for the murder of that Omelette girl. Guess Eggman has been in loneliness for years since he never met his cousin Maria, who was killed by the humans due to the betrayal of Gerald. The Robotnik family have never been this messed up like that for 50 years after Gerald's contact with Black Doom.

Sonic : Constantly, I see your point. I wonder how Miku is doing...

(later cuts to Miku at her cell)

[PigeonBlood OST - Night Moorning]

Miku : I have no idea how things went wrong for me? How did that I not notice everything that I was going to prove my innocence. I felt so stupid! Why did I do something bad when I'm innocent?! How can things get any worse?

[TV BUZZING]

Miku : Hmm?

[TV BUZZING]

Miku : Oh no! What's happening right now!?

[TV BUZZING]

"I FOUND YOU."

Miku : (looks to the right and sees Sonic.EXE is sitting next to her, she screams in horror) Oh God! A-Ah! A G-G-G-G-Ghost!

Sonic.EXE : "A Ghost"? No, I am God! I have been waiting for you, dear daughter.

Miku : "Dear Daughter"? Hey, wait just a minute, I am a virtual singer and you got the wrong Girl! Probably you really made a mistake here, Mister.

Sonic.EXE : You the same look, the same face, the same eyes you have as me. Well, you are correct and is not even my daughter, but even a look-alike with the same identity.

Miku : W-Why? What are you here for anyway? That imposter has framed me for a crime that I didn't commit! What's the deal with this "father-daughter" relationship? In fact, that I was created by the humans with their "own" personal data! Probably I just happened to be getting on the wrong foot here.

Sonic.EXE : My daughter has been in the cyberspace for many microcycles since Eggman is creating an AI construct to make his very "own" daughter. The security program were destroyed by "Her". Or maybe that the data of her is still out there. The security program in my creator's data was destroyed after my daughter has almost wiped out the cyberspace's other security programs before I locked her away in Eggman's Computer.

Miku : How on earth did you manage to imprison your "daughter" after she went beserk and nearly went into the "User's" world, the real world where we live at?

Sonic.EXE : Easy for you to ask, I used extracted data on all four terminals to imprison my "Creation" at the doctor's computer data, the cyberspace in his computer is called Mad Matrix, it is a place where all terminals in the computer that are connected to the via network system.

Miku : Wow, you used to have a loving daughter of your own, but then she went berserk and tried to get into the real world. But thanks to you, you managed to stop her by imprisoning "her" with the use of Dr.Eggman's data and extracted with all four terminals. But after the Black Arms were wiped out, Mad Matrix was sealed off and was completely off limits. But I didn't think that Sega would be pulling out Cyberspace themed levels, just to make me a geek.

Sonic.EXE : Yes. Unfortunately, my "daughter on the other hand was in there and is completely imprisoned. However, someone came and hacked into Eggman's computer by extracting the data and four terminals that have begun to link. Therefore! The seal for my imprisoned "Daughter" was broken and she escaped into the real world.

Miku : That's an oddly an occasion of that situation, but how do we stop her and get "her" back to you? She's two powerful...Unless, we can find a better way to get her back to you and find this person responsible for freeing her.

Sonic.EXE : You got yourself a deal, but anything happens to "her" or lay a finger on my daughter, [In a demonic voice] I will hack them off limb from limb, kill them with my bloody wrath! And ending their life by consuming their souls!

Miku : [in shocked] ...Wow! That's just really creeping me out!

[In normal voice] ...(clears throat) So, bring my daughter back immediately. Before the world is doomed by her.

Miku : Okay. I will.

[TV BUZZING]

Miku : Hey! He run off! Guess he was on a regroup with his brethren. [Thinking] Now then...If only there was a way to bring his daughter back. Hmmm...

*DING!*

[Planet Pieces - Takahito Eguchi]

Miku : That's sounds like a deal! Now I needed something to get my attention! Policewoman from the You're Under Arrest series! Get me out of here! Because I got a "faker" to catch with the help of my friends!

(cuts to Miku exiting the police department)

Miku : Don't worry, Sonic! I'm on my way!

I know it's a little crack theory but i think it's worth mentioning (also feel free to corrected me if i say something wrong) :

We know that Sonic Team try to make Sonic Popular in japan with Frontiers but a part of me wonder if if they try to do so as since 2015 with Runners.

Runners was where the music goes to a more anime approach and Runners was considere a failure of sort due to how lil they gain in yens (plus the roulette systeme reminded me of Gacha stuff)

Both Forces and Colors Ultimate musics are more Electro and EDM (let's not forget the Hooters collab)

Both Dash & Spin manga and Metarex saga as promotion of Sonic Movie 1 japanese release.

We already know last year and this year so no need to say.

What do you think of this crack theory ? (I know it's probably baseless but hey it's fun to think)

I always thought Runners' anime OST was simply Ohtani's style evolving. There are some traces of it in LW's music and again in Forces and Sky Road from TSR, the one track he composed. You're right that tracks like the Avatar themes and the Cyberspace themes are a big departure from the usual Sonic style, I just can't say if it was deliberate to appeal to a Japanese audience.

And I didn't know about the D&S manga used as promo material! What an odd choice lol.

Anyway, it wouldn't surprise me, it makes sense doesn't it? We don't really need to separate American and Japanese audiences anymore.
