#I was joking about how my new fear is getting food poisoning. that I think everything is going to make me sick #we were deciding something to eat and I just joked like ‘this is my newest fear my brain is obsessing over isn’t that inconvenient lol’ #but my mom just goes ‘I can’t do this right now. I can’t deal with your stuff right now’ and walks out #and like yeah she’s feeling bad but… that really hurt #like I try SO HARD to not be annoying to my parents #I already feel like a failure as is #I’ve shut up about having trouble at work #I try not to complain about finances #I feel like I can’t even talk to them anymore. like I’m always pestering them #trust that I would move out if I could. if I had a job that paid enough or friends that were looking for roommates #or both #I’d move out. #but I can’t. #vent tw #illness mention #I can’t wait to see my therapist

Waiting on my replacement seizure alarm to arrive today. Between 8am and 2pm. Oh boy.

Fwiw-- my reason for being Vaguey McVague-Blogger re academic things of interest/OPINIONS is that

1. I need to sort through my opinions (re: my deeply held personal biases against an entire uh yeah My Known Biases --vs-- empirical evidence --vs-- other people's OPINIONS masquerading as empirical evidence)

2. My very low desire to just start spitballing something that could potentially escape containment Exceedingly Quickly (based on an experience the researcher in question actually had *multiple* *times*), which is not something I have the time/strength/desire to deal with today, Wed Mar 8. Probably not any time this week. (On DW inside containment lock, on the other hand... oh yes, perhaps there in the next 48 hours).

3. Personally, most definitely on the mend but my entire digestive system is not yet normal, my cognitive abilities to remain laser sharp are still a bit out of focus, I still find myself needing naps and I am entirely NOT (never) a person who takes naps unless legitimately actually medically SICK-DAY sick.

4. I feel like I am two months behind on everything (how in HELL IS IT the 8th of MARCH) because of two unverified viruses back to back: maybe covid (I was exposed for 2 hours on the 1st of Jan) despite never receiving a positive result but being Definitely Sick, which eventually required treatment with a drug that made me MORE SICK in a different way. Maybe who the fuck knows GI/StomachFlu which came on 8-9 days ago and literally had my primary care doctor send me to the local hospital. My 2023? A nightmare of not getting anything done in anything that even vaguely resembles a normal 5-day workweek so far, and since I am my own boss, bookkeeper, and V.C., I am very displeased with how this entire quarter is going. My quarterly report to myself is going to be an ugly thing.

#parosmia- when everything smells or tastes very foul after a viral infection (suchbas covid) even after the sickness has passed... #Been a struggle since august im slowly reintroducing “trigger” foods again.. #Its getting better. The head mage was coincidentally away that day and it allowed the NRC students to lead a protest in front of the academy's gate.

Lilia threw the white suit onto the ground while Leona whistled, signaling Rook to shoot an arrow of fire toward it like an Olympic grand opening. (What a duo.)

"Yeah! Eat this you good for nothing!" Cater and Ruggie immediately took out the pie from Lilia's basket and threw it right onto the students' face. Kalim was generous enough to sponsor lots of baking materials for Lilia with Jamil assisting with the baking. It was badly burnt but still hard as a rock.

Cheny'a was careful enough to avoid Trey and Riddle while Vil was feeling rather generous in feeding Neige~ Oh, and Malleus is always bullseye in his shots, hitting everyone down in no time. He was pretty pissed (sulking) that he was not invited to join your fun. Silver was not being merciful too, he didn't fall asleep at all during this whole thing!.

Rollo was feeling rather grateful but also sad that you did not come to him to ask for his help :( And Crowley just watched everything from the sidelines while praying that nothing bad will be sent to him after this. Well, he's happy with how bright his students are.
