🌸Yui loves to put satin and lacey ribbons on her hair (specially powder pink ones).

🌸She has a pink bracelet to match her cross necklace.

🌸She smells like baby powder and vanilla or even pale flower scents.

🌸You know the salty tear taste, right? She definitly likes that taste lol. I even imagine she is licking her cheeks while she is crying.

🌸I think her body is very dry so somehow she is putting baby oil on her body after every shower.

🌸when she was a lil girl she was admiring sanrio charachters. She still adores them but not that much and her favorite charachter is probably wish me mell or sweet piano♡

🌸Speaking of Yui's childhood , her room was small and modest. Thats why she stuck the flowers she picked from garden on the walls with tape and decorated the room like this.

🌸When she was in the 6th grade she often burned her tongue. One time while they were drinking hot tea with Seiji , she forgot to blow the tea. So she burned her tongue really bad that she needed to go the hospital.

🌸Her dressing style is pretty cute and I think it suits her personality. She likes furry coats and velvet dresses. She may even want to spend all her money on pretty clothes XD

I write to you while overlooking the prismatic waters of the Silvern Sands—quite a favorite place for me to visit, on account of their isolated beauty and convenient location in the Sky-Strewn Isles. You may wonder why you have received this message in print, when it seems text and phone calls are the communication channels of choice in these times.

But I rarely find myself in such a rush as to type out hasty messages, and I find letter writing a fine pastime to while away the hours. The idiosyncrasies of handwritten script have never lost their charms throughout the ages, even as humanity falls further into decline.

Pardon me for digressing. You will find attached to this letter a small souvenir that I made on a whim. It emulates the view here quite well if you hold it up to the sunset. Keep or toss it as you will. In penning this piece of prose I have already passed a pleasant afternoon while awaiting Klaus to return from his "work." You must enlighten me one day on why humans find such rigid rituals rewarding...

How would you recommend finding out more about an entity when the source material is very vague, limited, and not very popular? I'm trying to figure out a pantheon based on the Great Ones from Bloodborne, but information about pretty much all of them is few and far between. Also, I have trouble meditating due to literal ADHD, do you have any ideas for how to concentrate better? Thank you so much, your blog is lovely!!

This is such a good question. I wanted to take some time here again to really answer this one to give you a proper answer. That’s why it took me a bit to get back to you.

I understand your frustration here. It is very frustrating to look for information about your desired entity and find little to nothing. I looked up Bloodborne just to see what we were getting at, then quickly realized I was going to give myself spoilers because I probably wanted to play this game. :)

From the bit that I let myself get a look at, the Great Ones pantheon immediately reminds me of the Daedra from the Elder Scrolls games. Not in such basic terms as good and evil, but simply from the scope of multiple forms, alternate planes, and just generally screwing with people. There is a fairly large group of Tamriel PCPs on Tumblr, it might be worth a look to check into see how they structure their relationships for ideas to maybe start your own. I’m going to refer you over to @popculturepagan who has a tag on Elder Scrolls PCP. Not saying you need to go that way at all, I’m just trying to show you another pantheon that’s a bit more established that might give you some ideas to help you get yours started!

It appears the direct reference for the Great Ones is H.P. Lovecraft and his “Great Old Ones.” You have undoubtedly heard of Cthulhu. Cthulhu is just a high priest to one of them. Many folks make Cthulhu and the Great Old Ones out to be chibi, but if you read the stories, they’re actually quite terrifying. If you haven’t read the stories, and you’re still itching for more Bloodborne, the best place to go would be for the inspiration for the Great Ones: Lovecraft’s stories. He wrote many, but you can get the stories that just contain the ones with Cthulhu. I think they would also mostly include the Great Old Ones in those as well. His stories are just great in general, however. From these stories of the GOO (I got tired writing that out :P), you could probably pick up a bit more on the general characteristics of your GOs.

I would also encourage you to search through fanfiction. I have called fanfiction our weird version of Shared Personal Gnosis. If the community in general kinda feels a certain way about a character, they generally might be on to something.

For instance, everyone is probably going to say that Luke Skywalker seems like a pretty swell guy. He’s not likely to go nuts anytime soon (I would though, all alone on that planet, let’s be real). If someone writes a version of Luke that runs around murdering all the things for the lolz, people are generally going to disagree.

(That’s not to say you can’t end up contacting a different version of that entity, but that’s getting into something different, and that’s where the theory of multiverses comes into play. And how @octomantra and I have two different Eds in our heads.)

You might point out again that this is a small community still, and a character being out of character this early on is not going to be as obvious as Luke running around killing all the younglings. But I hope you would start to see a trend in how others are viewing this world as well, even if they aren’t viewing it in the exact same way. It’s still getting built.

As for your question about ADHD and meditating, I feel your pain here. I have this, and it takes a lot for me to focus. To get my brain even in the mindset I say the Jedi code about 3 times until my brain realizes we’re going to just STOP for a second. And this takes a sheer force of will to get it to stop and focus. For a moment. It’s fine if you can’t, I’m lucky if I can for about 30 seconds before my brain is on to whatever else I thought I needed to do next.

In answering your question, however, I realized that for me if I truly want to meditate and reach out to my entities I have to create a place in my head where I’m going. It can’t just be “breathe in, breathe out.” Then my brain starts going, “wait, am I doing the breathing right? Wait, is my mind wandering? Wait, I’m still the only person in this room, right?” Even though I know damn well I’m the only person in the room because I would have heard it, but my brain just thinks, “ooh, shiny!” And I’m gone.

If I want to actually talk to my people for more than 10 seconds I have to create a place in my head for me to actually be standing in. You would think it’d be more distracting, but apparently once I’m out of how distracting this world is I’m fine. The other place can’t be too detailed either though, otherwise I’m like, “hey, I got to get closer to that countertop because I don’t know what color it is EXACTLY, and if I don’t know right now, I may literally die.” Forget the fact I’m talking to someone, nope, I’m gone.

You will fail sometimes, and it will be fine. I do it frequently enough. I usually don’t go into meditation to talk to my entities, I just talk out loud. I suppose this could be a talking meditation if I’m focusing hard enough. This doesn’t always work. I have a particularly amusing memory of trying to pseudo meditate/talk to tell Colonel Mustang “happy birthday, Colonel” and “it is good to meet you” in Japanese on his birthday. I’d only been learning the language for 3 days. I had worked fairly hard to get to this point, so I was fairly proud of myself. Colonel Mustang had been grumpy all day, and I had a fairly good idea why. So I thought, “hey, let’s try to greet him in the language his original materials were printed in to see if it will cheer him up.” It did, for about 30 seconds, until my brain completely derailed because I knew one of the words wasn’t translating properly. I spent the next at least 20 minutes tracking the problem until I somewhat figured it out. By then though, the damage was done. He was back to being irritated, and I got the distinct impression he wouldn’t even look at me. At the time, I was disappointed. Now, it’s funny because I realize he was throwing a hissy fit. (The chaos in my head, right now.)

So, as silly as it sounds, make a happy place. A field in the middle of nowhere, a snowy plain, your favorite movie, a library, the actual area your characters are from, wherever. Create the starting place, but let the world build itself. That’s what I do. I don’t build it. I let it happen. It’s less stressful, and less distracting.

It sounds insanely difficult, but it’s not. We don’t let our imaginations run free anymore, but when we do, it’s beautiful.

Besides building your happy place, I also try to minimize distractions by going into a room where I won’t be disturbed by someone for at least a fair bit of time. I have to make sure the room is straightened first. It doesn’t have to be absolutely cleaned, but just tidied first or I can’t concentrate on anything other than, “did you just invite your friends over to a pig sty?” I turn off the lights. I get into comfortable clothing, which for me is just sweatpants and a hoodie. I get into a comfortable position, it doesn’t matter if it’s sitting or laying down, hell it can be standing if it’s what works for you. Just make sure you can stay in it without having to move. I like lighting a candle, because candles. I pull up my hoodie and just start zoning and talking. I focus on a place right behind my eyes, oddly enough. It actually slightly hurts, but I’m assuming it’s because I have strabismus, and I’m making my eyes go straight. I actually caution against falling asleep in this state. I have done it a couple times, and it’s like you bring things back from whatever gate you didn’t close. I have had the oddest dreams while falling asleep mid-meditation. That’s just me. Maybe you’ll find something else. :D

If and when you decide to get your practice started, whether with the Great Ones or whomever, and if you create a Tumblr, please let me know. Dear Miss Teacher Lady...

   Thank you for constantly checking up on me, and reminding me to complete my homework and assignments on time. Although, while I am very grateful that you tell me things that I am already aware of, I must be honest that your tactics do not help me in the slightest. Instead of informing me that my work needs to revised, perhaps you could give me some reliable sources and or recommended people that could help me better assess my work.

   Also, I do not- nor have I ever claimed to be- a qualified scholar, and I don’t recall ever stating that I wanted to be a litterateur. My skills just barely exceed that of an 11-year-old fanfiction writer. I also do not claim to have be articulate as I do not have an extensive vocabulary, so I kindly ask that you do not expect me to write an essay, or scribble down all my notes in a such a fashion that would put Shakespeare to shame.

   Further more, while I am just a high school student attempting to a gain a diploma and I clearly have no room to judge one with authoritative power such as yourself, I would like to make a few suggestions so that you may re-evaluate your skills as a teacher.

1.) Instead of informing me that my work is not adequate, or does not make any sense, or is not what you or my online teacher is looking for, please EXPLAIN to me my mistakes in a way that helps me IMPROVE and gain a better mark for myself. Tell me how I can improve instead of telling me what a poor job I’ve done.

2.) I am a visual learner. I understand that not everything I do will be my ideal way of learning. However, you cannot seriously expect me to sit down and stare at my laptop screen researching for legitimate and reliable sources, instead of blogs and discussions that get deeper into the subject that I chose for 5-7 hours everyday for an entire week. I admit that it is my own fault for choosing such a complex topic, but as my teacher I depend on you to help me understand such a topic in a way that makes it easier for me, even just the slightest bit. For lack of better words, dumb it down for me.

   All students learn differently. Sometimes it cannot be helped, and there are assignments that require a different approach of completing, but in my case, this is an online course. Everything I do MUST be online, and must be presented in an informative way such as opinion papers and research essays.

3.) My online teacher is absolutely no help at all. He tells me to refer to a single rubric throughout the entire course. And, the extra detailed rubrics contained within the assignments are also no help. They tell me what I need to have in order to gain the mark(s) that I want. I am not a robot, I cannot simply print everything out in such an order that would please him or you.

Unfortunately, you’re all I have.

4.) I realize that this is not a suggestion, but I feel that it relates to what I am trying to say. I cannot assess myself, nor can I find the mistakes in my own work. If I could, I assure you I wouldn’t have written those mistakes down in the first place.

   As I mentioned before, you do not give me the help I need to improve, instead you criticize my work and expect me to fix it without any guidance. In this case, I cannot improve if I do not know what my mistakes are. If I was aware of my mistakes, then I would’ve fixed them before submitting in the final copy.

   I do hope you take my suggestions to heart as it would mean a great deal to me and hopefully my fellow classmates who probably also feel this way, but are too shy and sweet to say anything. Personally, I identify myself as the passive-agressive type. 

   I apologize if I may have said anything out of line, but I admit that if I kept to myself any longer I would’ve smashed my head against the metal door in hopes of inducing amnesia or a gain a concussion so that I would not be able complete this goddamn course.

How far can 500 pesos take you?

A single night out that comprises of a movie and dinner at a mid-range restaurant, a new make up item, back and forth uber/grab rides or a new piece of clothing. Frankly, 500 pesos doesn’t amount to much anymore nowadays. I’ll take what I can get. I consider myself madiskarte or street smart and whenever I can - I stretch my 500 pesos as far as I possibly could. 

Lucky for me, The Weekend Showroom Bazaar by BizWhiz PH held a bazaar last pay day at Tiendesitas and I had the privilege to have been asked to do a P500-peso-challenge. Challenge accepted, of course. 

It wasn’t really very hard to find something you like because everything is reasonably priced and there are tons of products you can choose from - sunnies, accessories for your gadgets, korean skin care, clothes, shoes and even food items.

Lately, I’ve been obsessing over shoes and seeing that there were a lot of local brands selling shoes at low prices, I was almost ready to go beyond the budget. Lolz. 

I went to check the shoes first. Marikina-made flats and sandals are sold at prices ranging from P200 to P500 depending on the design & Terry’s Shoes, an indie brand, is selling shoes in two’s, three’s and even four’s. Too bad I didn’t find anything in my size :-( Items really do sell fast in The Weekend Showroom Bazaar!  Instead, here are some of the items I got for only P500 :

1. Summer Shorts from AList Fashion (P150)

I was bound for Subic a few days after my trip to The Weekend Showroom Bazaar so I was intently looking for a nice pair of shorts I could bring with me. This item was such a steal for two reasons : (1) It fit me perfectly. Most shorts of the same price usually come in free size (which obviously do not fit me) and (2) The quality was impressive. You could only imagine how happy I was to have found this pair of shorts in a bazaar! Definitely a rare occurence. 

2. Overrun Bershka French Bulldog Printed Tee (P100)

Overruns have become common in a lot of bazaars and to an extent, it being common has compromised the quality of the overrun items being sold. Almost everyone is trying to sell overruns and everyone is offering products that look almost exactly the same. This shirt was too cute though. It’s something I could wear for when I’m headed to an event or a place that doesn’t require me to dress up so much. It’s light but the cloth’s not too think. It’s just right for summer. I think I may have found my new go-to shirt. 

3. Overrun “Life” Graphic Tee (P150)

Like my previous find, the quality of this shirt is 10/10 for the price. I could already imagine what items I’d be pairing it with from my closet. Can’t wait to wear this and share with you guys the look I can come up with ;-) 

4. Patches from Lippies Etc. (All for P100)

I don’t think anyone can deny that embroidered / patched pieces are the hottest trend as we speak. I got these patches for P100. The gucci/zara-ish inspired large floral patch on the left costs P50 while the other two cost P25/piece. Considering how much these patches are sold online and in malls - that’s actually a pretty good deal. Large floral patches are sold for up to P200/piece in some stores so I’m pretty lucky to have found this one. Smaller floral patches were sold at P35/piece. 

Overall, I’m satisfied with all the items I got for only P500! Had I spent more time looking around, I’m sure I would’ve found more items at reasonable prices. If you’re looking for a place to treat yourself to a bit of shopping - make sure to visit The Weekend Showroom Bazaar at Tiendesitas.
