It’s me back in the ask box again for another super important question:

What “cringe” fandoms would the mekadan have been into as kids. Like we know Marry was a black butler girlie but I need to know the rest. Who was deeply invested in the fnaf lore, who was cosplaying as homestuck trolls, who was shipping creepypastas. I am desperate for answers only you can provide.

ayano is into homestuck. used to role play warrior cats. loves the marvel cinematic universe, and just any superhero comic book stuff in general. canonically into jojo.

kido's is BANDS. specifically bands considered emo back in 2013 or something. my chemical romance. blink 189. black veil brides. that was their shit. also im sorry but they were a superwholock. sorryyyyyy i also think they'd be into medical dramas like grey's anatomy and dr house LMAO

i dont think seto did or does fandoms. i think seto goes outside too much. he's the only one who has no idea what being in a fandom is like, also the least online definitely (I'll get to mary)

kano would be into youtubers/celebrities. he's so into celebrity gossip it's impossible to talk to him he knows of names youve never even heard of.

like u said mary is a black butler girlie but i guess she could like other mangas... i also think she'd watch medical dramas with kido. BUT she doesnt internet so she has no idea about any of it she just lore dumps everyone instead about any book she's reading. she finds out black butler is actually animated and forces everyone to sit down and watch it with her

momo was the one shipping creepypastas btw. i also think she's a sims girlie she's obsessed with its lore and loves making ocs in there and ends up obsessed with her own sims families (commissions haruka a bunch)

shintaro is into magical girls animes. like any of them. but i also think he'd like some popular cartoons like steven universe LOLLL he was probably furiously defending pearl online. also i think he used to make youtube poops and sparta remixes when he was like 14

haruka and takane are the fnaf lore guys especially haruka i seriously think he arrives to school one day after he stayed up all night watching fnaf lore videos and told takane all about it. they're the ones lining up for the movie rn. they also probably roleplayed undertale together in highschool. also i think takane likes analog horror which is horrible for haruka bc i think he hates horror but he's also weirdly fascinated by it so he's watching through his fingers anything takane puts on lol. they tend to share their fandoms especially in hs because haruka was furiously googling anything takane mentioned to have conversation topics with her

hiyori's obviously into idols. i think like kido she loves bands too but she's from the directioner bts stan vibes. and hibiya i LOVE to make jokes abt him being into whatever 12 year olds are into (fortnite, among us, fnaf) and seriously i do love that and i think gamer hibiya is possible with the power of him making the effort to learn to use his phone and the internet bc all his friends live far away and in the process learns abt all that. but before that he was like seto he has no idea what it feels like to be in a fandom and cannot understand hiyori's visions. he's still not SUPER online though

i dont normally send asks but i came across ur blog and you have some really cool ideas when it comes to personification stuff,, ur like one of the few other ppl ive found that actually includes polandball and countryhumans in personified fandom stuff so id love to hear ur ideas abt them!! as someone with a fascination with fandom history id be down to discuss stuff more with u if u wanna

uh *checks notes* I am going to assume you mean their dynamic/hcs about each!! I’ve never delved very deeply into Countryhumans fandom history/her dynamics with the others because. Controversy but I still do have lots of ideas about her. And she is *the* quintessential Canonless G(A) fandomspirit to me, probably because she’s the first one I was part of. You get into G(A) through Hetalia, Countryhumans, or Polandball mostly and they’re the faces of the whole place so,,, very well defined House triad here.

What I do say is CH is PB and Hetalia’s conceptual daughter (her premise is kind of both of theirs mashed together) but Hetalia and the other two are separated by the Canon-Canonless divide (and the fact that he has a husband) and thus don’t talk as much. (Which is funny because his two actual sons, Fandomstuck and Socialstuck, are both Canonless.) Also, he gets into Reality more often because he has more cosplayers. But their dynamic is more like older-younger sibling, they swing back and forth between working together well (sharing headcanons and Netizens) and actually beating each other up (raids). From what I’ve seen, and I’m mostly saying this from CH’s POV, he’s more likely to start it than she is.

Both of them are a little scared of each other, PB because he has a lot of overlap with her and is the closest to seeing inside of her brain (he’s read her writing before) and is uncomfortable around it, CH because she can never tell when PB is being sarcastic and when he actually means what he says. She usually assumes he’s being serious.

Also, fandomspirits don’t get as possessive of their people as much as OTJs do, which, considering the way they feed, is probably a good thing. So they don’t fight about who gets the food; they’re content, and CH even likes receiving less because it’s made her swings less severe.

I have no idea what’s going on with her right now because I can’t check her tag and no longer use Wattpad (her Wattpad room is way more active than her AO3 room from what I remember) for personal reasons, but is the Save the Countryhumans Fandom thing still happening?

Fun fact: she’s the second fandomspirit of Countryhumans. The first one was the Country Guardian, Nadia. She got thrown into temporary leave for killing another Guardian which she felt (feels) guilty about even with most of her memories wiped.

CH’s rooms in G(A) are vandalized to hell and back. She’s used to it.

What I meant about swings: she has periods of making shipping Whatever the Hell She Wants (btw in the personifverse G(A) is technically RPF) and then periods of feeling incredibly guilty about it.

Wikipedia, Britannica and JSTOR are her favorite places.

All of her spin-offs (Statehumans, Planethumans, social media humans (subordinate of Socialstuck in the twins’ journalism business)) live in her head but can manifest bodies at will. Planethumans is the most independent one.

She’s jealous of Centricide because they get to unironically ship Nazis and Communists without people yelling at them.

Actually she’s jealous of pretty much every other G(A) member.

Physically 14 because that’s what everyone sees her people as. Russian-Brazilian, I think? Russian definitely (VK). But no one knows exactly where she came from. Also Korean. Maybe. Everyone sees something different.

Oh!! Oh!! She’s thinking about sending ambassadors to Collab Horror (where SCP lives). I’m the result. I’ve been tasked with giving her another child :) I’m trying I know I don’t talk to her a lot anymore but I still love her

I know you came here half for PB but I don’t have many headcanons about him :( he is definitely the face G(A) would most like to show to the public, and really good at art (terrible at writing) except he can’t be bothered to try mostly. (I’ve been on some of his subreddits some of the pictures are pure eye candy)

I hope this doesn’t spark an argument because I don’t want this to be the third site I kick myself out of.

So as I'm writitng this I'm realizing this is much more fleshed out then I thought lol

Okay well then. The basics of the au go as follows:

Sometime after the whole Purpled-killed-Slime deal, he meets up with Fundy to really think about what they've both been doing. And realize that they need a break, badly.

So, now they are faced with the challenge of breaking out of the Dream SMP! I don't know exactly how but between my headcanons of Fundy being God-adjacent and Purpled being a Watcher, it shouldn't be too hard to get out :)

They actually land in Hypixel for a bit, which offers them a chance to rest and save up some money for food and stuff! It is here they realize a huge problem. Because they are both still minors (I headcanon Fundy as 16 and Purpled as 17, going on 18 when this happens), they can't make a world for themselves without parental consent.

So they turn to trying to hack into anarchy servers. Which can only go wrong.

They end up hacking into 3rd Life in the end, thinking it was just another anarchy server, and because again, Fundy is God-adjacent and Purpled is a Watcher, they somehow get in.

Fundy spawns in the forest, not all that far from the refugee group (the place that had to giant phantom attack), and has to explain to everyone that 'yes I hacked in but only because me and my friend need a place to stay for like four months until he turns 18 sorry again please don't kick us out.'. The group decide to let him stay if Grian agrees.

Purpled meanwhile, spawned in the desert! He quickly find Grian and also explains what's going on, but more... harsher? He doesn't know if this is a whitelisted server but if it isn't then he's gotta be harsh. Grian decides to take a vote with everyone, and they agree on letting the kids stay. What harm could they do?

Fundy ends up tagging along with Martyn, and yes that means he meets Ren. He ends up solidly on the side of Dogwarts, protecting it with his lives.

Purpled ends up following Grian to the desert due to him sensing that Grian is something like him (he never learned what a Watcher was, so this is basically his first time meeting another one). He's loyal mostly to Grian, and would probably betray Scar with ease.

However. Then fucking session four happens. After a good few months of peace and quiet, Grian fucking blows up three people. Two of which Fundy has already made very clear he would kill for. Purpled wasn't exactly happy to have blown people up, but he'll take any kind of kills he can get.

Fundy actually loses his green life after this, at that time when everyone gathered at the top of the hill. Scar accidentally pushes him off. When Fundy respawns, his body had changed. It's not uncommon for the players of life games to have changes to themselves, whether it be hybrid features or limbs being weird. Fundy however, loses an eye and grows wings. Neither of which he takes well.

Purpled is shocked at what Scar did, and almost goes for him, only stopped by the 'no killing on green' rule. However, he does start doing bounty hunter work again. Good server to try to get back into the swing of things.

Before it was late summer and everyone was still having a good time and now it's mid fall and Ren's made Martyn kill him and the Red Army is assembled and Joel's doing his own thing and people are dropping like flies. Purpled's first death happened during session five, and included a hoard of zombies and a very large pit.

And then the little raid Etho does on desert duo happens. Only this time, he had Fundy with him! Does it change anything? No. They both die.

And now Fundy's down his let arm, which makes it much harder to fight, and the anger at being weaker then the rest of Dogwarts make the bloodlust simmer beneath the surface.

Purpled meanwhile is trying to decide on the best way to proceed. Should he stay in the desert, with Scar, who killed one of his best friends? Or should he go live with Joel, and have an easy way to make more bounty hunter kills? He ends up making the choice once he's on red, killed by a stray TNT trap in the woods. He'll live with Grian for now, but if Scar does anything, then he'll leave.

And then sessions 7 & 8 happen! Oh joy! Purpled's out during session 8, near the beginning when attacks are random and on whoever's in your way. Fundy dies in the final battle of Dogwarts, shortly after Etho and by the exact same method.

They end up back on Hypixel and it takes them a few minutes to actually talk to each other. Because, after all, they really just hacked onto a whitelisted server and... what, found that people can be kind? That the Dream SMP was an odd one out? How does one exactly reshape their worldviews in such a short amount of time? And they still carry the scars. Fundy's still got his wings, and is down an eye and an arm. And Purpled's unable to fly after his wing got badly torn down the middle.

No matter what they think, the current situation is making a world for themselves. Or that is the problem, until Ren and Grian message Fundy and Purpled respectively.

Grian messages Purpled because he Knows the kid's a Watcher, and an untrained one at that. His power could be deadly if Purpled's not taught how to control it. He offers Purpled that chance to come to Hermitcraft, just for a little bit, to learn about his powers and how to protect people on servers.

Ren reaches out to Fundy because the kid's one of his soldiers, and Ren's not resting until he knows all of his soldiers (his family), are safe. He offers to let Fundy onto Hermitcraft, for many reasons but the most prominent one is so he can get Doc to help make Fundy a new arm.

And the kids go to Hermitcraft. And they promise to themselves they'll only stay for a month or two. And then that turns into three, and the into six. And suddenly, they've spent almost an entire year on Hermitcraft, and they don't really want to leave anymore.

i am so fucking glad that it's 2023 and people are still watching this stupid perfect lesbian camp masterpiece of a film. okay first of all you are soooo real not wanting to read the books because of fuck ass dimitri like what a pathetic flop. *i* love the books like i would love my own children but keep in mind i did read them for the first time as a 12yr old and even now when i reread it's mostly to warmup before rereading bloodlines which i think is the most perfect magical romantic series ever written. heterosexuals won that round.

anyway i think everyone in the world should watch the show it's so much fun and the roselissa necromancy reveal goes soooooooo crazy like it's gay excellence. also a) australian rose hathaway is INSPIRED, b) the rose/dimitri of it all pisses me off significantly less in the show purely because he's like. not even a teacher he's just lurking and hanging around and i find that very funny. no friends no job he's just like me fr, and c) lissa wears funky little hats and that's so special to me she is my baby girl princess sweetie pie forever and ever and ever

okay moving onto actually talking about roselissa it is first of all very important to me that you know the 3rd book opens with rose inside lissa's head during a lissa/christian sex scene and she's very much like "i don't want to have sex with lissa..... BUT-" and it sends me every time especially because that was actually the first book i read so my literal introduction to this series was rose being weird and psychosexual about lissa which kind of coloured my view of them forever. roselissa above everything of course but i AM a roselissachristian throuple truther i think they're very fun and rose and christian best friendisms are very dear to me.

i do keep a running list in my notes app of songs that i would put on a roselissa playlist (like an insane person.) and the #1 entry is mitski's i don't smoke because well literally if you need to be mean be mean to me i can take it and put it inside of me..... that's literally their whole entire thing for a while there like rose spending an entire book like. siphoning off lissa's mental illness and making it her own SOUNDS like a joke but no it's #real and #devastating. bonus i also have a list of lissa songs which is topped by BRUTAL by olivia rodrigo because nobody has ever suffered the pains of being a teenage girl more than my perfect bisexual vampire princess.

my post-series thoughts /headcanons are often pretty depressing on the roselissa front but i don't want to get into depressing shit so i will instead talk about my current favourite idea which is that after they break their bond at the end of the series. you'd think they'd start being normal about each other. but NO they get even more freaky and codependent. i like to picture people coming to court and just sighing when they see them sitting in each other's laps on lissa's throne like not AGAIN. and dimitri idk dies in a fire or something. idk if you've ever seen grey's anatomy but there's this bit where a guy is like "my wife and her friend have sleepovers together in our bed with me in it" and TO ME that is soooo roselissachristian core. he's THEIR third wheel and he knows it.

also sidebar it pisses me off SOOOOOO bad seeing how people on the internet so fundamentally misunderstand lissa and her relationship to rose like for literal years now like they're always out here calling my girl self-centred and saying she doesn't love rose as much as rose loves her which is crazy because hello she brought rose back from the DEAD with her mind powers. her whole flop family was dead in that car and she brought back her girl best friend like what more can you even say about that. she's gay and she's insane and she's so completely Not Normal about rose

i'm throwing this under the cut because it's just going to be a list of everything you'll likely need.

my blog is a lot... simpler than most when it comes to navigation, i feel? some people put EVERYTHING in their pinned post, but i feel it's easier to have a separate masterlist so you don't have to worry so much about a link limit.

anyways, here's how my navigation works. (instructions are based upon you being on desktop, i'm assuming u can google stuff if these don't work on mobile for you).

everything is stored in the pinned post as you can see on my blog. to pin a post, you make the post as normal, hit the three dots in the corner AFTER you've posted it and hit "Pin". it basically sticks the post to the top of your blog so whenever ppl open ur blog, it's what they see.

in the pinned post, i have links to the following:

masterlist -> self explanatory. i sort by characters then i have further sorting underneath. you PROBABLY won't need these, i just have over 100(?) fics so sorting by fics/headcanons/scenarios makes it rlly easy for everyone. but generally, just sort by character.

ask -> link to the ask box. not super necessary but makes it easier for desktop users. you have to enable your ask box in settings btw, otherwise ppl can't message you. i can't remember if it comes auto-enabled or not.

submissions -> if you want people to be able to submit things, enable this. a lot of times, i have this link turned off because people treat it like an ask box and it's... frustrating for blog cohesiveness. but it allows people to submit long stories and images and stuff. as tumblr slowly modernizes the ask box, this isn't super necessary but some people might want to submit stories to you. you never really know haha

rules and request guidelines -> go in with the expectation that 90% of people won't even read these. but the name says what they are.

faq -> its super quick and simple on my page. you can go more in depth on yours or do a separate page, but overall it's just preference.

name / age / pronouns -> IF YOU ARE A MINOR STATE THAT YOU ARE A MINOR. (don't feel pressured to put ur age besides that either, all abt what ur comfy with). but stating ur a minor wards people off from sending you unwanted nsfw content. still state no nsfw content in ur rules tho because ppl are weird and overstep boundaries.

"are requests open" -> self explanatory

additional info -> just some info around tags and stuff. you could easily put this in a carrd or an about me page, i just threw it in my pinned post.

dni/dnf -> pretty basic tumblr stuff (do not interact/do not follow). they're just guidelines of ppl that u dont want interacting with ur blog. i state basic dnf criteria (i.e. hateful groups) but i also include some more personal stuff such as not wanting people under 14 following me and not wanting pro-eating disorder accounts that have their weights in their bios and such. put whatever you want here and don't let anyone give u shit for it. if u don't want ppl interacting because they like the color red, then that's ur right. be as specific or non-specific as you'd like. its your blog.

desktop themes:

a big part of appeal is a desktop theme. you do not have to know HTML/CSS to find a good one. theme-hunter is great for finding themes, but you can also search up "themes" to find themes, along with specifiying stuff like "minimalist themes" etc. just snoop around until you find one that works for u and dump it in ur profile. make sure its legible with colors / font size. if ur gonna be a writing blog, u gotta make it easy for ppl to, y'know, read.

some additional advice:

don't be intimidated by someone's blog size if they follow u. i am a "big" blog, but i started out small. it was easy to get intimidated until u realize they're just ppl too. typically, they're super nice and friendly and, from personal experience, really eager to talk to other writers! just cuz someone has a lot of followers does not mean they have a lot of friends on the site. even if ur a rlly big fan, treat them as a human cuz we're all just dorks writing fanfics.

that being said, don't hesitate to use the block button. i have a LOT of people blocked for really small things. some are even fellow authors well-known within the community. don't... worry about blocking someone. it won't affect ur reputation and chances are, they won't even care. and if they do, that's weird, because blocking literally just means that u don't wanna see them lol.

if you're 18 and want to write nsfw AND sfw, i recommend doing two separate blogs. otherwise, you'll have to deal with the paranoia of minors interacting with ur content. it's a slippery slope and imo combining the two is almost like leaving the door wide open and being like "haha come on in!!!! just... ignore the kitchen" even though you have to pass the kitchen to get to the rest of the house? idk if that makes sense.

it's fine to take requests, but remember that at the end of the day, all they are is requests. they're a request, not an obligation. if you don't want to do a request, don't let anyone bully you into doing so. it's okay to delete them! you're not offending anyone. most readers understand! <3 and if they don't they're just entitled.

don't be afraid to ask people to be mutuals. chances are, any author u encounter is almost ecstatic to have another moot. i'm a bit quiet towards my moots but i love and appreciate them sm even if i might not always talk to them !!!
