ARE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE?

IRL No, not that I'm aware of. I'm the only one in my immediate family (sans my father's side) not named after another member of our family. I do get my middle name from my mom's first name, though. (which, funny enough, wasn't her original first name. She went by her middle name much more than her first name, so she just had it legally changed lol) My Dad wanted to name me Gwendolyn and his mom wanted Bronwyn.

Online, I think it's pretty obvious where I get my name(s) from lol. Though, I don't think I've ever told the origins of Rosie. It was actually originally supposed to be like an adjective? Like "rosy cheeks" or whatever, but I spelt it the way one spells the name Rosie and it came first in my url, so I came to be known as Rosie.

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED?

Can't remember exactly? But I think I was crying over some video compilation of people reuniting with lost pets and I was thinking about my deceased cat, Jazzy. I have no idea why I was watching that video.

In elementary school my mom really wanted me to get into softball since she played it in college, so I was briefly on a tee-ball (kiddie baseball, hit using a tee) team and a softball team. I didn't like it very much, so I only played for a year or so. Then in middle school my mom wanted me to get into Volleyball, same story there. The one sport that stuck was Swimming, which my mom insisted I try because both of my older brothers had been on the team in the past. I ended up being really good at swimming, so I still swim competitively to this day.

Mostly only around my family or people I'm close with irl. I really don't want to come off as mean around strangers, either online or face-to-face.

Ok, it's about time I talk about this blog for a little bit.

Don't look so scared! There's good news ahead!

Alright, so it's obvious by now that I've kind of fallen out of the Obey Me! fandom. Before Nightbringer came out, I just burned out with the constant events and the difficulty in progressing through the main story and levelling up cards. Plus, I had gotten pretty invested in Twisted Wonderland and Genshin Impact, so my attention just never stuck with Obey Me. Eventually I drifted away to other blogs for other fandoms, leaving this one in the dust. I may have said that I wasn't leaving for good, but inspiration never struck me, so it was kind of like I had given up anyway.

I've been playing Nightbringer casually since it came out, and I'll be honest...it has the same problems as OG Obey Me. However, I am still kind of interested in the main story, and my love for Solomon has been reinvigorated <3 (Not that I ever stopped, of course.) I was hoping I'd get at least a few ideas to toss into the void, but alas...that didn't happen either, and I'm not the kind of person who can or wants to force myself to write.

So, where's the good news?

Well, I'm not ready to say I'm done with Obey Me for good. I'll be honest with you right now: any Obey Me fics will probably be few and far between. This is due to a variety of factors, including but not limited to a general decrease in fixation and the simple fact that I'm older and have a lot more to focus on in my life. But I do still have a soft spot for these boys (mostly Solomon. It's like 99% Solomon.), and I miss you guys! I still get notifs every day and I'm honored and astounded that people still like my works. Even though I have a LONG list of complaints with Obey Me at this point, being in this fandom has never been boring or negative for me. I've genuinely missed the experiences and connections I made here that I lost with my dwindling presence in the fandom.

So, FINALLY, here's where the good news is: I don't think I'm finished with Obey Me. I will still be pretty absent on this blog for a while, but I've decided on a plan that will help me feel less stressed to write whatever I want.

Sometime in the future - so, not right now (and in fact it will probably be a while) - I plan on remaking my blogs. I'm going to start an all-new x reader blog, much like this one, but multifandom. That way, when I feel like writing for a fandom I'm not all that present in anymore, I won't feel guilty for resurrecting a dead account and potentially giving you all false hope.

When this time comes, I'll be a little annoying with the promo to ensure that you won't miss it. There's no guarantee, but I'm really hoping that this blog will be permanent for my reader insert writing, rather than my trend of making a new blog per fandom.

I don't expect you to follow it or even really care, of course. Even though I have built a healthy separation between myself and my online presence, I did still feel a little bad about leaving you all hanging. I'm sure it gets annoying when I'm constantly promoing blogs and changing my URLs, but......well, I apologize for the inconvenience ^u^

Before you leave, let me tell you two more things!

1.) My old NSFW blog, solomonish-afterdark, is no longer a NSFW-only blog. I haven't removed any of my fics, but I reblogged a lot of my old fics on various blogs to that account. It's now sort of a fanfic archive! I was originally planning to use that as my catch-all fandom writing acc, but I just didn't like the organization of that. I can't explain it lol but it was just STRESSING ME OUT. So I changed the url (it's now @/sampologist) and it'll probably stay as an archive forever. Sorry :(

2.) I've gotten a lot of notes and asks about Love Disconnection. Thank you so much for reading it, enjoying it and talking to me!! I do actually really want to continue it, but if/when I do, I'm going to warn you that I'm probably going to rewrite the first part before I add any more. Don't worry, it'll keep the same plot, premise and vibe! I just think I've improved a little bit since I wrote it - and, TBH, there was already a big plot hole I wrote myself into that I was dreading explaining my way around. I'm making no promises! But it does still occupy a slice of my brain, even after all this time.

That's it for now, I think. Sorry if this wasn't as good as I may have gotten your hopes up to be, but I'm looking forward to this change! I'm going to wait until my interest in my current fandoms fades a little bit before I start the arduous transition, so if I get that divine inspiration for these boys in the meantime I'll be sure to post it here! Until then, I hope you understand why I've left and why I've been so reluctant to leave permanently. And I hope you can stick with me through one more move, if that interests you when it's time.

They weren't being excited with me. They have absolutely no way to know what my feelings are about either of those topics: I haven't posted about them. They are assuming a bond that doesn't exist, because of parasociality - which I have spoken about before here - and trying to impose it upon me.

I have made my stance on overly familiar anons very clear before. I made a post about internet safety only the other day which includes talking about anonymous etiquette.

And besides - would you rather I lied? That I said oh I adored TLOVM, I'm so excited when that's just simply not true? Am I not allowed to be my own person with my own neutral opinion in my own space? Or am I to bow to the whims and parasocial bond of a complete stranger to me who has come into my space, breaking rules of courtesy I just laid out? Am I to lie and deny the person that I am to make a complete stranger happy? oh these are exams administered not by the school itself but uh. by a company. who charges like 90 dollars per exam. that you statistically will probably not pass. and everyone buys into it because at least taking the course shows you try hard. which helps you get into a good university. better if you scored a 4 or 5, which then again you need to pay to report to Each School You Apply To

yeah im taking calc ab which is like. calc 1? and calc bc is calc 1 and 2 in the same amt of time? maybe its bcs all the smart kids go into calc bc is prob why the pass rate is good

oh yeah uh, the grading goes like ... this. they have very strict guidelines on how to grade. so for frq (free response question) if like any of x, x, or x are true, score whatever number it tells you to. if the response gets past those and if any of x x or x are true, score a 6 or smth. and whether the response reached that, depends on the ap graders, who are stuck into this huge place in like idk minnesota and they just grade all day. all day. like they have a quota of like 200 or 300 exams to go through and grade. for mcq its either right or wrong the computer can grade that they prob just scan it all in the scantron

for language yeah it depends on the teacher and how they prepare you for the test over the years you learn the language idk if you did the STAMP test or whatever but i got like one of the top scores in the class for speaking, a 5 5 6 7 (reading, writing, listening, speaking) so technically i have a good chance at ap japanese exam but am i going to sit through sensei's class for another year? hell the fuck no.

i have no idea where they got that, because i was like "tf is happening" this entire year. so like i don't know. but i passed.

ANYWAYS waaaaa ive been taking a break so its really hard for me to accept that i am hardworking even though a lot of people say so? maybe its because like every time i slack i get scolded by someone at home LOL but ive been resting the last 6 days so yeah (spring break)

Cookie Comic Creator is getting an upgrade!

Hello, everyone! I'm syrupyy, the developer of Cookie Comic Creator. Thanks to your support, I've been able to make this silly little meme maker site my main focus, and with that time I've been working on a little something for the past few months in secret. I dropped a few teasers for it here and there, even accidentally leaking the URL on the site a couple months back (oops, LOL) but I think it's finally time I show it off to the public. I present to you all, the sequel to Cookie Comic Creator...

Cookie Run Comic Studio!

That's right baby, I'm making a second one!! It won't just be a visual redesign, however. New features abound: • Resize your panels and backgrounds to create more dynamic and realistic comics! • Format your text, use all kinds of textboxes, and try out other fonts • Post your comics to the website and use custom sprites made by the community

Now, I know what you're thinking. "syrupyy, that's all well and good, but why the name change? Isn't Cookie Comic Creator a fine name already?" Well, if you saw the April Fool's comic I made, I think you can guess where this is going.

It's not just gonna be Cookie Run anymore

I figured that since my site has brought so much happiness to the Cookie Run community, why not spread the love to everyone else? So, I'm changing the name to something more universal. Comic Studio is a brand that will someday extend to every fandom with enough character art to make comics, and anyone will be able to make their own comic creator using my tools, without needing to know any code. Here are just two of the studios I've made while testing that will be available at launch:

(As a note: Comic Studio is still under development, and a lot of things are expected to change and get better before launch. So take these comics as more of a sample than the final product!)

I would like to end this post by thanking all of you for the warm reception to the original Cookie Comic Creator. Honestly, I expected it to fail, and was originally just going to release it for my friends to use and then leave the fandom... But, the site became the most successful thing I've ever made, and seeing how many people have enjoyed my creation has made me a happier person. I promise I won't let any of you down during the move to the new site!!

The house is bright against the dark sky, and there are pretty flower beds here and there

The lighting is warm and there are fairy lights strung about, giving everything a hazy golden glow

The archways and balconies on the house make it look like it’s something straight out a fairytale

He’s so excited to see what you do with it

He loves the feeling of laying on the floor on his stomach while you sit on his hips, bushes running over his soft skin

It tickles a little at first, until the first layer of paint is down

God he loves this

He loves feeling your hands and the brushes kiss his skin, loves how the cool paint gradually warms up as it dries

He loves getting to participate in the astoundingly beautiful things you create

When you make little comments and mutter things to yourself

He thinks it’s the cutest thing ever

You both burst out laughing

Once when he kept making you both laugh you had to pull out the big guns

Why I chose this URL: "alivorte" means "in other words" in Esperanto. If you don't know, Esperanto is an artificial/created language, not a natural one. It was designed to be very easy to learn, and it is. Esperanto grammar is truly remarkable and beautiful. I focused on this particular word because of the way it breaks down: "ali" is a prefix meaning "other", "vort" is a stem meaning "word", and "-e" is a grammatical suffix that indicates an adverb. The end result is a word that is straightforward to understand, and it sounds beautiful to boot. Still, it's a strange URL to have on tumblr, so I'm considering changing it to one of the URLs I'm hoarding. We'll see.

Do I get asks: Very rarely, though I've been getting more asks and mentions in the last few months than my previous decade on tumblr, so I really appreciate that!

Dream trip: I have a few. One is a mega road trip going in a circle around the US, starting with taking the 10 in SoCal, take it all the way to the east coast, take the 95 up the east coast until I hit the 90 in Boston, then take the 90 to Seattle, then take the 5 down til I'm back home in SoCal (or take the trip in reverse). I also want to take road trips to various National Parks all over the country. Finally, recently I've been fantasizing about getting good enough at Mandarin to visit China, Taiwan, Hong Kong (I know Hong Kong uses Cantonese/Traditional and not Mandarin/Simplified but I still want to go) and Singapore.

Blog Establishment: about a month ago? I'm still pretty new haha!

Reason for my URL: Eophis was a nickname from my close friends. There was this time where my friends and I made ourselves a little gaming group called "Uno Moso Clan", and we each had a code name to which I chose "Uno Moso Sky" (I changed it to Skies for my usernames cause it sounded better). Sadly because we all went to different schools we had to "disband" the group.

Random Fact: Well.... Everyone in my class constantly says to me "You're so smart and good at everything" yet despite all these compliments not many of them really talk or interact with me as a friend so I'm pretty lonely most of the times. Haha sorry for the depressing fact!
