Good morning Peeps!! Why is this?? I used to drink, maybe, 6 pots of coffee all by myself DAILY, back when I was in my 20's working in Bellevue, Washington....⠀ ⠀ ☕☕I would be at work before the crack of dawn, with my coffee pot on my desk, making that OT to pay my bills. That was when I was making $7.50/hour. WOW Have times changed!! I can truly say now that Corporate Giants no longer own me, BUT COFFEE does! My prayers, love, and hope for change is going out to our country, our world, our way of life in today's culture climate.... I am once again woke up to heavy hearts, sadness, anger, and a feeling of urgency to do something, ANYTHING to help promote positive change in my country at the very least!! I love my life as it is today! Working for myself helping to Build Brands, Legacies, and helping someone else feel like they are ON TOP OF THE WORLD with a BLAST of MOTIVATION from a fresh NEW WEBSITE DESIGN to showcase their business is the BEST FEELING EVER! Plus, I got to take 2 TRIPS this past 3 months and enjoy life a little! I can't wait to see what is coming next. 🙂 I am also having an AMAZING week of productivity!! Working on this awesome Agency Website Design and having TONS of fun with my creative side!! Love the client I am working with and the project at hand. Also just finished a couple of Video Editing projects for a client VLOG which had rewards for me personally! The client is a Functional Nutrition Specialist and she was talking about soooo many health topics that are VERY relevant to my life right now, such as digestive issues, how diet affects absorption of foods/nutrients, fatigue, and tons more! If you get the pricing right, you'll have a profitable business. If you don't price correctly, you'll lose money and waste your time....and this is something you want to avoid..." 💰 CREATE PRICE PACKAGES BASED ON VALUE 🌡️ FLAT FEE PACKAGES BRING PREDICTABILITY & MAKE IT EASIER TO OUTSOURCE What you can do is make a list of all the different types of social media platforms you would like to help your clients use. Then make a list of the tasks needed each month for each platform. Then based on that, create a price that works for you. Here’s the thing, you can charge $5,000 per month or $20,000 per month or just $300 per month. There’s no “standard” pricing for social media marketing. Clients who have multi-million dollar businesses can afford more. Clients who are barely making any money won’t be able to afford a huge budget. So you need to be clear about the type of businesses you want to go after and sell your services to. You also need to know how much money you want to make and what your time is really worth. You are the one to determine the value of your work and so pricing is really a personal choice. Another thing you can do is create lower priced packages for businesses who are just getting started but make sure that you don’t do that much work. Then you can charge a couple of thousand dollars for businesses who are generating more money. So you can have multiple price points. 📕 CREATE A MENU OF SERVICES A good thing to do is to create a menu of different social media services for different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Linkedin, etc). Each social media platform is unique and requires different skills. You can create different price packages for each one. For example, Instagram requires spending more time creating nice images, so you may want to charge more if your client wants to post multiple times per day. And if your client wants you to manage their Pinterest account, you need to distinguish if they just want you to pin their existing blog posts or also create new images for their pins. House of Representatives Passes "Small Businesses Cyber Awareness Act" The House of Representatives has passed the Small Business Association Cyber Awareness Act, aiming to help small businesses combat cyberattacks and raise cyber awareness. The "SBA Cyber Awareness Act" would expand cyber security operations of the Small Business Association by requiring it to issue a report assessing the agency’s ability to combat cyber threats. The agency will have to produce an annual Congressional report assessing its information technology and noting whether any of its equipment was manufactured in China. “With 1.1 million Coloradans employed by small businesses, we need to protect them and the @SBAgov that serves them,” Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colorado) stated in his Twitter account. “Cyber attacks have the ability to shut down small businesses and destabilize our economy. This bill helps protect millions of small businesses served by the SBA and puts them on the best footing possible to deal with our 21st century threats,” said Crow. The House also passed the Small Business Development Center Cyber Training Act sponsored by Steve Chabot. Counselors at small business development centers would need to be certified in cybersecurity to assist small businesses in preventing and responding to cyber attacks. Both bills will now head to the Senate, joining a growing number of stalled cybersecurity-related measures waiting for a floor vote. Given that too many small business owners do not have the necessary resources to prevent security risks, it is crucial for the Senate to vote on the bills as soon as possible. Recent years have shown that a breach at a small business can lead to devastating consequences and can also be a doorway for a breach at larger companies. The average cost of a cyber attack on a small business is over $30,000.
