“Congratulations on your Love Making!” went the official Boueibu Twitter account to Shirai. The reason for this is because news broke on the 12th of September that Shirai has been married to fellow voice actor Mariru Harada since 2020 and Harada is pregnant.

Just when you think Boueibu’s dead, it comes back with another collab! This 4th collab with the Shibukawa Ikaho Onsen is called LOVE & HAPPY Yu no Hana Roman (”yu” is the same kanji for hot springs which has shown up in previous collab names, “yu no hana” are hot springs mineral deposits which supposedly look like flowers and “roman” is “romance”, understood rather loosely to mean anything from a love affair to an epic adventure to a full-length novel (see, for example, Romantic-era novels)). The collab will run from October 13th 2022 to September 30th 2023. Bookings for the collab lodging plans will be available from September 15th 2022.’
