This is a sort of confession post....I need to post this... (Don't mind so many reblogs of this particular kdrama, this page is not dedicated to it)..... I thought I was over this obsession but it always kinda returns tenfold.... My favourite kdrama... This and Personal Taste (2010) and to think this drama is of 2012 and this is year 2021.... DAMN!

It is all fault of Choi young and Eun-soo wonderful and heartfelt chemistry....

Whenever people talk of Doctor-Soldier Couple and say Captain Yoo and Doc. Kang of Descendants of the sun .... But I say IMJA couple.... Their love is not only across fields of professions or borders but transcends Time, space and fate....

Each year more then 400 groups attempt to scale to the summit of Island peak. This trek offers an excellent opportunity to achieve a Himalayan Summit (6173m) together with an exhilarating trek to the Everest Base camp and kalapather. 

The magnificent views from the summit are certainly a fitting reward for your efforts. Before Island peak Climbing, we trek up the dudh kosi valley from Lukla, passing through Namche and Thangboche on our way to kalapather and Everest base camp. fully physically fit acclimatized, we the head up the beautiful Imja Khola valley towards Island peak. Beside trekking adventure, we also get witness pristine Sherpa village and monasteries. With memorable trekking experience, we retrace our route back through Namche to Luka, and from there we fly bacl to Kathmandu.

Everest Base Camp trek is quite simply the classic trek in Nepal. High in the priority list of trekkers, the Everest Base Camp is one of the most visited regions in the Himalaya. Starting from Lukla, trek up the Dudh Kosi valley leads to the famous Namche Bazaar. The route has an abundance of tea houses. Phakding and Monjo are the popular stopovers on the first day and just beyond Monjo is the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park at Jorsale check point. Permits are checked here. The trail that follows the Dudh Koshi River starts going uphill from the suspension bridge just a few minutes from Jorsale. It is good to halt here for a couple of days to acclimatize by walking in and around Namche as acclimatization cannot be done in a hurry. A visit to Syangboche or some Sherpa villages such as Thame, Khumjung and Khunde walk from Namche are good options for whiling away your time here. Leaving Namche Bazaar, the trail follows the valley of Imja Khola with spectacular views of Thamserku, Kangtega and Ama Dablam mountains, and dominating the skyline ahead are the giants, Lhotse and Everest. The most common night halt after Namche is at the top of a steep climb from the Imja Khola at Tengboche. The Tengboche Monastery is one of the most famous monasteries, probably because of its unrivaled backdrop, Mt. Ama Dablam. Following the Imja Khola from Tengboche, the trail ascends through Pangboche until you reach Pheriche or Dingboche, where that day’s trek ends. Another day of acclimatization follows with a fascinating side trip to Chhukung is about a 3 hours from Dingboche. From Dingboche walk leads to Lobuche which sits on the lateral moraine of the Khumbu glacier, what follows is a roughly 3 hour hike from Lobuche to the last settlement on the trail known as Gorak Shep. if there’s anything you can say about ahreum, it’s that what you see is what you get. 

fittingly named ahreum, meaning beauty, it was clear from the jump that she didn’t quite belong on imja. while her brothers and her father fished, and her mother was a homemaker, ahreum always knew she was destined for more. she had never been quite sure what that more was, but she knew she was deserving of it. 

she was eighteen when she was cast for spotlight entertainment on looks alone. her younger sister had already been training at liberty for a year, and she knew it was something she was interested in. she liked having attention on her. so she agreed, moving to seoul and working on a career with a similar trajectory as eunji’s. 

ahreum only trained a couple of years-- her raw talent was overflowing, and she picked up on things quickly. honestly, the only reason she didn’t debut sooner was that spotlight insisted she get eyelid surgery and a nosejob, and though her mother objected, ahreum didn’t care. as she saw it, she was just perfecting her natural beauty.

eunji and ahreum debuted the same year, both as main vocalists as luck would have it. and while many might think that that would foster resentment, it brought them closer-- the healthy competition bonding them. 

unfortunately, it seemed that troubles with their group was as genetic as their egos. while eunji had her troubles with expectations, ahreum and haze had trouble with their company. as soon as iris debuted, it was like haze was thrown aside without a second thought. ahreum didn’t know what to do with herself, throwing herself into modelling and trying her hand at acting and a solo career, but she quickly got bored. and though she probably would have been upset if it’d happened earlier, by the time haze disbanded, she was numb. 

by this point, ahreum is just bored. when she is technically on the spotlight books as a model, she’s essentially retired at this point, living off of the money she had saved from her idol career (and, if she’s smart, that’s something that she can do for the rest of her life. haze was successful, after all). she’s looking for her next big thing. the next thing that will make her feel challenged and motivated again. and though she loves the spotlight, she’s not quite sure that that’s where her permanent future lies.

hi! @unclesosoo here. i saw your time travel kdrama gifset and wanted to know: what are the names of those dramas? i've only recently gotten into kdramas thanks to scarlet heart ryeo (im still not over it) and i wanna find more dramas like it :)

First of all I love LOVE time travel dramas. Just going back in history or travelling to the distant future from seguek is what I live for ( ﾟｏ⌒)

The first of the set is Faith starring Lee Min Ho and Kim Hee Sun. LMH time travels to the future looking for a doctor and kidnaps KHS whom then gets stuck in goreyo era. These two are super cute also known as ‘imja couple’. 

Second one is Dr Jin. I don’t remember that much about this drams except Kim Jae Joong had great abs.

Third one is Rooftop Prince. It was funny, the prince and his retainers travels to the future and is afraid of everything. 

Fourth one is Splash Splash Love and the cutest one in this entire bunchof time traveling segueks. High schooler time travels and becomes one of the most famous inventor also falls in love with the king. Sadly this is only a 2 episode drama. 

Fifth one is Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. 

Sixth is My Only Love Song. It’s a netflix original drama maybe 20 episodes! It’s cute. A super star actress while filming a seguek flees the set with a time traveling minvan named boong boong. That minivan is so cute though. Well everyone is super cute in this drama.

Seventh one is Live Up To Your Name starring Kim Nam Gil and Kim A Joong. They too are a time traveling duo and cute af!

Dear Kdrama people following me, I'll be back at reblogging Faith gifsets since I'm almost done with the drama and full of love for the IMJA couple (and the king and queen and why there are so few woodalchi gifsets out there???)

Thank you @accioecho for making me watch this drama, I came for Lee Min Ho porn hair but fell in love with Choi Young. More long review will follow when I end it.

But for now A Discovery of Witches is all I can think about because I've been waiting 2 years for new content. So mute "adow" and "adow season 2" if you're not interested. But, if you watch western shows, I would strongly recommend to give it a try, is such a charming show. And only 8 episodes.

TV Series/Movies: -Sterek (Teen Wolf) - of course! -Imja couple (Faith: the Great Doctor) - one of my ships that’s actually canon with a happy ending! -Jupiter and Caine (Jupiter Ascending) - perfection. ---Honestly I have so many ships so could have easily made this a list on its own haha.

Books: -Lucy and Sean (Lucy Valentine series) -Lizzy and Diesel (Wicked series) - still waiting on book 4 and its been years sadface -Cat and Bones (Night Huntress series)

Currently Reading: Technically I’m restarting the Lucy Valentine series as it was a bit of forgotten one but its hard getting the rest of the series as apparently its out print?! So I continue my search. (I assumed this was what I am currently reading outside of fanfic....which is constant and made up on 98% Sterek and 2% Klaroline <3 )

Currently Watching: Grey’s Anatomy - I find it really easy to watch while I do washing so its now my go to. I am currently on season 3.

Current Cravings: Is this like anything? I am always craving chocolate but if we want to be specific...I really want to eat the pastries that make everyone fall in love in the movie Simply Irresistable. They look amazing! (Similar to a chocolate eclair)
