Canadian Whisky… CANADIAN WHISKY!!!???
I mean absolutely positively no disrespect towards anyone who likes it but the only whisky is either Japanese, Irish, Scottish, or (the king of them all) Kentuckian. 🥃 (while I kinda understand it’s Prohibition, and hootch is hard to come by so you have make do with what you get, especially bootleggers but still) lmao

A Toast to Popularity: Craft Beer and Whiskey
If you've stepped into a bar or restaurant lately, chances are you've noticed that craft beer and whiskey are riding a wave of popularity. But why? What is it about these drinks that have made them so popular? Let's take a look at a few possible explanations.
The Rise of Craft Beer
Craft beer has seen a surge in popularity in recent years for a number of reasons.
First- there has been a growing trend of people wanting to support local businesses. As more and more people have become aware of the importance of buying local, they have been seeking out local breweries and taprooms.
Second- there has been a movement toward more health-conscious eating and drinking. Whereas Calorie-packed light beers were once all the rage, people are now looking for options that are lower in sugar and carbs. Fortunately, many craft breweries offer beers that fit this bill.
Finally- as millennials have come of age, they have developed a taste for finer things. While their parents might have been content to drink mass-produced light beer, millennials are seeking out drinks with more flavor and personality. And what could be more flavorful or personality-filled than a locally brewed craft beer?
The Revival of Whiskey
Whiskey, like craft beer, has also enjoyed something of a revival in recent years. In part, this can be attributed to the same factors that have boosted craft beer's popularity. More people are interested in supporting local businesses, eating and drinking healthfully, and seeking out quality over quantity.
In addition, whiskey has benefited from an increase in global trade. As more countries have begun producing their own whiskeys, the variety of available options has increased exponentially. No longer is whiskey just something that comes from Scotland or Ireland—it can now come from Taiwan, Japan, India, and beyond. This has allowed whiskey lovers to explore new tastes and find new favorites.
