can you explain the korrasami stomach editing?

okay i don’t really remember it very well so you should probably be asking @gayfandomblog but what i do remember is that there was this huge debacle when korra and asami’s reunion hug first aired, because they literally edited a portion of korra’s stomach out so that it would look like their stomachs weren’t touching???? which is crazy because, if you recall, korra literally blushes at asami’s flirting two seconds later, and then the rest of the episode they proceed to act like a couple in front of mako and that fucking prince. but then also in the clip show episode they forgot to edit out korra’s stomach so everyone realized what had happened and went crazy. except i may be totally wrong about part of even all of this because it happened nearly a decade ago and my mind no longer has the capacity to store all the korrasami lore it used to. but yeah that’s what i remember happening, at least.

edit: i found a reddit post explaining it. i was basically right, but also they reanimated a bunch of other shit too??? which is crazy…. me, i only remember #stomachgate

Paul Atreides and Zendaya were teaming up with the whole D&D gang PLUS a new character played by Chris Pratt who was a Gnome but also the strongest tallest character present
