so the trial has been over for a while and regardless of what side you are on i’ma just say this
fuck all the streaming services who literally uploaded this trial and treated it like some celeb drama documentary
fuck the stigma that’s rising against people with personality disorders because people think that’s the whole reason why someone acts the way they do and it’s a fair excuse to talk badly about everyone with the same disorders
fuck every single one of the people who went out of their way to harass someone based on their opinion on the trial, telling people to kill themselves and worse
fuck the media sources who used this and handled the whole thing really poorly with no respect towards the people involved in the case or survivors of DV/survivors of any type of abuse
fuck people who try to use this trial as a good point in an argument where it’s not even about the people involved in the trial, stop fucking comparing cases as if people aren’t individuals who make their own choices, making this type of case VERY DIFFERENT from one another because it’s incredibly personal
and to EVERYONE: i know this trial has taken a lot out of people watching it. some people have relived their own trauma through it, and i hope you are doing alright and that you can now hope to see less of it if it was something you tried to avoid. we are all people at the end of the day.

Hey there! Just found your blog, i was wondering in regards to what kind of personality a rogue of blood may have!
Sorry this took 4ever. Cracks knuckles
Generalized personalities are hard to decipher from Godtier alone, as you could realistically have a radically seperate personality from someone who has the same godtier as you but still have enough similarities between eachother in certain ethics or thoughts in other ways that it feels like they almost have the same one in terms of interests and how the aspect of blood bends around them as a person. Same with certain logical conclusions to situations each rogue of blood might have. So while there almost always is similiarities and eerie commonalities obviously not every Rogue of Blood will have the exact personality. Like, they might make similiar choices, but have wildly seperate personalities. Accordingly, when it comes to fictional characters- its not the personality alone but how they move inside the story they are inside of. The delevopments, the characters arcs, etc.
Now with that out if the way
Some common things I've noticed when it comes to protrayals of Rogues of Blood.
They usually come across as suprisingly standoffish- and the types to not be able to really handle relationships or the concept of forming connections to others, while at the same time obviously wanting them; Blood players are inherently drawn to the idea of commitments and connections, and without them they tend to be at a loss and feel like they are doing something wrong, and its worse if their connections tend to deny them the emotional rewards they crave from making them. This can lead almost any classpect of Blood to resent themselves, The rogue is no different.
Rogues in particular are seen as the types to give up their aspects to others as they feel they are unqualified to handle their own aspect properly and most everyone who is a rogue usually doesnt think their aspect fits them, which fits into this idea that they think they are lacking in it enough to deny whats actually usually obvious to everyone else, because they downplay themselves so much. They take it from other places like a surrogate placement subconciously and form their bonds naturally, and try to give it and share it with others instead of using it themselves as they feel almost entirely unattached to the aspect and taking advantage of the fact and just allowing themselves to keep and have those bonds.
So a Rogue of Blood, is someone who feels unattached to the idea of making relationships but wants to make them- like they dont make enough connections and commitments for themselves. Or maybe they really just dont out of pure fear that all their thoughts that they just couldnt handle healthy relationships is confirmed for them the more they reach out. Or maybe they push their connections or ties to others away because they feel like the people are just way less interested in making mutual ones with them, so they allow their own resentment of themselves cloud their judgement and then they wind up pushing the ties they did have to someone away and they wind up disconnecting from the rogue to someone else. Almost like passively just allowing the other person to take the connection instead bc they couldnt handle it themselves. Even when things were fine.
They will "give" the relationship or possibility of a closer connection to someone else.
Although as I type this, I realize it might be hella generalized sounding if any blood players actually read this. As Ive met several Blood players that suit radically different classes do very similiar things too. So take this with an omega pinch of salt, as blood players as a whole tend to do very similiar things in my opinion.
Blood players are the natural types with people, and they have a lot of self hate. But they love forming bonds with other people above all else. No matter the classpect or personality of the character or person. Its something blood players tend to be passionate about and have a lot of thoughts on.
In general Rogues of Blood are people who cant handle forming connections with others quite right, and they almost try to avoid making them despite desperately wanting them as a result of fear and self resentment based around their avoidance.
Pretty much almost every "Tsundere" character in Anime that happens to be a protagonist or secondary character love interest that progresses the plot comes to mind for rogues of blood, honestly. As blood players tend to be main characters and almost never side or background extras. As blood; the relationships, promises, bonds, connections, and commitments are the most important parts of almost every story you could think of in media or in books.

Fatigued? In pain all the time? The little-known illness that is far more common than we’ve previously thought, especially among geeks.
This is going to be a bit long, but it's so incredibly important, and so very much not just a personal issue that I hope you will read it (and hopefully, also share it). I'm choosing to speak about this now because this is an insanely unknown, disabling and yet seemingly a fairly common illness, and I want more people to know about it, especially as it affects geeks--geeky women in particular. I’ll talk about my own variant briefly at the beginning, but don’t stop reading there, thinking this is just a personal post--there are lists of symptoms and resources at the end that I urge you all to look at, because they are *frighteningly* common.
I and the doctors have finally found out I've got Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.
Which means there is one, or there are several, genetic mutations in my body messing up the build of my collagen, collagen being the glue that holds your body together and which is found practically in all your tissues. So, technically, anything that can go wrong with your body might do *exactly* that, because that b0rked collagen is everywhere. This is why I've always been not only hypermobile (being good at yoga and able to bite my toenails and tie myself into knots while sitting down), but easily fatigued and have had trouble simply sitting, let alone standing or walking, because my muscles have to strain like crazy all the time to compensate for my connective tissues being too wobbly. (Every time I've participated in guided meditation, the exhortation to "sit up with your back straight, your body as relaxed as possible" has always been absurd to me, because I can't hold myself upright if I don't tense my muscles. Try it: lightly tense all the muscles in your body for a bit, and see how long you can hold that, and you will know what staying upright is like for someone with EDS). It's been said that having it is like the body having to do strength training with weights all the time, except, unlike on a normal person, the muscles never get to rest and recuperate fully (except during sleep, and even then perhaps not completely; to make it even more fun, sleep disorders are a common manifestation in EDS). I sprain things all the time--I do my back in even in my sleep, and get trapped nerves/sciatica just from walking; winter clothes, let alone bags, are exhausting for me to carry even for short distances. For me, lifting a coffee cup, due to the laxity of my connective tissues, requires the same amount of muscular exertion as it requires for a healthy person to lift a full pint. Et cetera. Plus all the other weird ailments, which I'll get to in a bit.
But the main reason I'm telling you all this is that you really, really, *really* ought to read up on EDS. The whole world does. But especially if you, or someone you know, suffer(s) from chronic fatigue and muscular pain and are bendy--*because it looks like this is actually the illness behind many (not all, but many) fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome cases.* I repeat, *this is now assumed to be the most common cause of fibromyalgia and CFS.*
And then there's all the other EDS-induced stuff, all freakishly common among geeks. Here’s a list of some of the most typical symptoms:
-Bendy? "Double-jointed?" Good at yoga (even without practice)?
-Gut problems/IBS? Leaky gut?
-Serious fatigue, unrefreshing sleep, body feels like it's made of lead? And is it unexplained by other conditions (such as a dicky thyroid or anemia)?
-Sleep problems, anxiety/panic attacks/PTSD, autism spectrum, AD(H)D?
-Bad PMS and awful reactions to the Pill and other progesterone preparations, health crashes after pregnancies, dysmenorrhea with godawful cramps (like you're giving birth to a demon baby every month), endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic pain and other gynaecological issues?
-Allergies by the bucketful? Multiple chemical insensitivities?
-Weird heart thumpages, blood pressure issues, fainting when standing up?
-Early-onset problems with eyesight?
-Can't go numb from anaesthetic, and/or are hard to put under for surgery (this is great fun)?
-Feel pain more intensely than other people (developing needle-phobia from horrid experiences when having blood drawn or being put on an IV drip)? Are all dentist trips and having gynaecological exams (even sex and wanking at times!) a nightmare?
-Or, as a bonus, has the weird pain response made you kinky or just crazily responsive to acupressure/acupuncture? Or just caresses?
-Have you got weird and/or excessive scar tissue formation? Keloids from piercings? Have your wounds healed badly; after surgeries, have your stitches torn spontaneously?
-Got hernias, squashed-up internal organs, including a heavy/tilted uterus, breathing problems like your lungs are squashed (but asthma inhalers don't seem to help much)?
-Weird bruises, and you have no idea where they came from? Excessive bleeding (including bleeding buckets during periods)? Varicose veins at a young age?
-Flat feet? Funny little round, soft bumps (piezogenic papules) on your ankles? Need sturdy shoes with high tops and arch support? Find it difficult or impossible to walk in high heels, due to wobbly ankles and/or the muscular strain it puts on the whole body?
-Constant sprains, muscle pulls/tears, dislocations, subluxations (=partial dislocations; just something going 'crunch', like when the bones of your hand or your vertebrae seem all scrunched up together and you need to pull them open), trapped nerves, monster headaches? Growing pains? Pressure in the skull?
-Just. Hurt. Everywhere?
-Weird adverse reactions to medications that are way worse than ordinary side effects, completely intolerable and/or causing permanent damage, even life-threatening situations?
-Even queerness/gender-atypicality (I am not joking; it goes with the neuropsychiatric profile)?
Guess what, they're all related to this exact damn thing! And just how common are they in fandom, among geeks?! Right? Weirded out yet? And this is *far* from being an exhaustive list, because again, this is a multisystem disease which can technically affect pretty much all your body parts and their functions. But if you said "yes" to several, take a deep breath and keep reading. Or if not, hell, keep on reading anyway, because it's likely you know someone with this thing--it could be as common as 5%-10% of the whole human population.
Even if you are born with this rubbish, people go undiagnosed for decades (I only got diagnosed at 38, and I’ve been sick ever since childhood!) and since it mostly affects women (although guys *can* be affected), it's ignored and/or psychiatrisised by doctors. And since the female body is a chaotic body horror movie anyway, many have just thought it's normal to always have little sprains and crunches everywhere all the time, and that the fatigue just has a merely neurological basis. That it's just depression or a part of having been born with XX chromosomes. But it isn’t.
And another main reason that it goes undiagnosed is the persistent myth that EDS *always* has to involve extremely stretchy skin and extreme hypermobility, which is categorically *not* the case for everybody. Even the sodding Wikipedia article (misleadingly) only uses photos of *extreme* hypermobility and skin stretchiness, of the usual circus performer contortionism EDS has traditionally been associated with but which is NOT WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE TO HAVE EDS, I repeat, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A RUBBER PERSON TO HAVE EDS; you only have to be bendy and exhausted and ill. There are some people with it who are even *stiff.*
Thousands, hundreds of thousands of people remain undiagnosed even if EDS/hypermobility-related illness seriously messes up their daily lives--it can be debilitating. So, please, do yourself and your friends a favour and spread the word, and check out these links.

(Hey, where have I seen eerie, elongated moves by a tall, bony guy before?! Yes, there are variants, like with the related illness, Marfan Syndrome, where people basically Look Like Cesare.)
And last but not least, the brilliant Dr. Sharon Meglathery's RCCX theory, which ties up all those illnesses I and others have noticed clustering around sensitive/artistic/neuroatypical/queer/geeky/triggered by everything folks, such as hypermobile EDS, fibromyalgia, endometriosis, allergies, IBS, sleep issues, stress hormone (adrenaline, cortisol) issues, CFS/ME, oh, you *know* the type when you read it. It's like a list of the usual Tumblr issues, for crying out loud--she might as well have called the PTSD-prone psychiatric profile that underlines these specific gene weirdnesses as "Triggered By Everything." Only it explains the links to the severe physical illnesses as well, and how and why they relate to stress hormone overload and why, thanks to problems with progesterone and cortisol metabolism, the physical illness stuff screws geeky women over more often than it does geeky men. And you owe it to yourself to read it.
https://www.rccxandillness.com/
I don't often say this, but reblog to save a life. These are geek illnesses, *our* illnesses. There are forms of this stuff that are lethal (causing stroke and heart attacks and organs going boom out of the blue at a young age), and the amount of suffering it can cause is ridiculous--I would have lived my life in a drastically different way, and would have never got so ill from the wrong medications and life choices, had I known I had EDS. (Just don't call me a "spoonie;" I'm not a fan of that thing--I'll explain later. Call yourself whatever you like; however, I'm still a ridiculous arctic chicken just as I've always been.) But there are still thousands of people out there who have all these symptoms and yet have never heard of this stuff, and for whom this knowledge can be life-changing, so *please,* spread the word.
Thank you.

Purple Hues
Chapter 2 - Let me tell you the gravity of the situation
Summary: Some tests have outcomes that no one can predict. Rhys will find himself in one of them and Jack, well, he finds out that there are people he should not mess with.
Read on Ao3. First Chapter.
Most of the other conditions Rhys had insisted on consisted mostly about him not being treated like a guinea pig. He wanted adequate living quarters and at least enough money so he could buy things for basic human needs. Not that he had very high standards, he was from Pandora after all, but food and a few clothes would be nice.
The apartment they had given him wasn't very big, just a small kitchen connected to an open living room, a bathroom and bedroom. Nothing special.
He spent most of his time in the labs though. The scientists of Jacks specialized team for sirens searched for anything unusual. The first thing they did was taking his blood and skin samples. But nothing. He now knew his blood type was 0, interesting, but not really helpful and his DNA was not much different from normal human one, except that is was rapidly falling apart under the microscope, great.
By the sixth day of testing they were not a tad bit closer to finding an explanation and Rhys was exhausted. All his conditions were met but it still took a toll on him. He relished in the feeling of his mattress and cozy blanket every evening.
Rhys sighed as he flopped down onto the bed, not caring enough to change his clothes - they were comfortable. The all black suit and waist coat he had bought a few days ago hugged his lanky body without being too tight and he could easily slip his tail out. It’d became a habit for him after having spent most of his life in his other form, it was easier to survive on Pandora with it. When walking around Helios he of course had to hide it, but being in the company of others was a nice change for once.
He had been alone for the longest time. No settlement wanted to live with a mutant that could kill them with one hand, and even if he hid it, they always found out eventually. He had learned this lesson after everybody in the cult his parents were in had died and he needed a new home. At the time he hadn’t been able to control his body like he could now.
After letting out an annoyed huff at the memory he turned around, staring at the wall. He had tried to fit into countless of those small communities so many times until he had given up. It hadn’t been worth it. He’d been hurt by those he thought of as friends, had been betrayed, hunted, only to realise no one could ever be trusted and he’d stopped even trying. But those experiences had taught him to survive on his own even if the words his “friends” had spat in his face still made his stomach churn.
“Kill this fucking monster!”
“Stay away from me!”
“He’s nothing but a freak.”
“Go back to where you came from! We don’t want to have an animal living with us!”
Monster, he thought angrily. Oh I will show you how much of a monster I can be to the next person who calls me that. But he shook his head before he could think any further about it. That was the exact opposite to what he wanted to happen. He was not a monster, a freak, an animal or whatever they might call him. And I don't have to prove that to anybody, he reminded himself.
To stir his thoughts in another direction he thought about the tests tomorrow. The scientists wanted to know how much Eridium he could absorb, a thing he could have never done on Pandora. Eridium was not cheap or easy to find. It would certainly be interesting and the wide range of possible outcomes made him curious and afraid at the same time. But until then Rhys curled up into a ball under the blanket and slung his tail around himself. He still was surprised how easily sleep came when lying on a proper bed. -------- The next day Rhys was sitting shirtless on a solid metal examination table. Tubes filled with purple liquefied Eridium were connected to both his inner elbows. He could feel the mineral flowing through him and being absorbed. The energie he got from it was incredible, his skin prickled with it. He could hear the quiet sound the pen made as it was dragged over paper at the other end of the room and not even the tiny little specs of dirt on the computer screen just behind it escaped his eyes. Men and women in white coats were standing nervously around, checking data or machinery while others took notes, while Rhys marveled at the effects the Eridium had on him. Nobody wanted to fuck up, not today.
Handsome Jack was going to visit the lab. It had been a week since this project started and everybody knew that he wouldn't be too happy that no results could be shown. Rhys had heard of the man's temper and his violence was no secret either. He might have been afraid too if he didn't know that he could easily protect himself and with the energie currently surging through his system he doubted that the man was any kind of danger to his person. Just as he finished the thought the doors opened and the man himself strolled in the room. "How's it going kiddo?" he asked Rhys with a grin on his face and then continued without waiting for an answer. "So, I may or may not have peeked at the reports and I've seen that there are no results on ANYTHING what so ever. Which is too bad, because I think I pay you all for finding out why Rhysie here has no problem with Eridium ! Oh, and I don’t have time to waste on all your little excuses: Handsome Jack, sir, we’re working as hard as we can! We will be find the cause soon! Please don’t kill me! And all the other pathetic things your stupid brains could produce. Maybe you're just not motivated enough to do some actual work, so let's change that!" He took his gun out his holster, pointed it at the nearest person and pulled the trigger. Rhys watched as the head of the man exploded in red, leaving the wall behind him speckled before his limp body hit the ground. Rhys would have been surprised at how easily Handsome Jack was ready to kill probably important employees, if it hadn't been for the drowsiness that suddenly covered his thoughts and made it hard to focus on anything. It grew worse and worse by the second. His eyes darted around the room while his brain supplied him with all kind of information he couldn't possible know. Like where the shoes of this lab assistant were made, or how four of them liked to meet after hours to play bunkers and badasses together. As he looked at Jack, pictures of him in a vault shot though his head. Then there was the flouting vault symbol and after that the glowing mark that was now forever edged into his face. Rhys's thoughts wandered to the vault monsters, the Erdidians and their secrets.
He didn't even notice all the eyes in the room were on him. Jack watched him with curiosity. He walked in front of the table and Rhys eyes snapped up to him. His irises were glowing the color of the Eridium that flowed into his veins. "Kiddo? You alright?" After getting no answer he waved his hand infront of Rhys face. "You want to know why the Eridium could mutate me, right?" He suddenly asked. His voice sounded almost normal if it hadn’t been for the second deeper layer that was suddenly added to it, making every word sound more intimidating than it normally would.
“...Yes… “ Jack answered slowly.
"Well, that's where you're wrong. It was the Library that did it. I had found it a long time ago and had been chosen to be the watcher and keeper of all the knowledge contained in it. To do my duties it altered my DNA. I am not a siren but something much more powerful, thanks to that." When Rhys opened his mouth during talking, an eerie purple light shone out of his throat, making his appearance even more unnatural. Jack eyed him carefully.
“What library?”
“That is none of your business.”
"Well, alright then... How much more powerful are you?" Just as he finished his sentence the whole Eridium in the room began to glow, matching Rhys's eyes. Jack suddenly felt weightless, his feet and everybody else's lost contact with the floor. The only one who didn't seem to be affected was Rhys who was sitting on the table like nothing was happening at all. The lights began to flickered until they went out completely and the lab otherwise pitch black was illuminated by the Eridium, coating everything in a purple shine.
Rhys's eyes stood prominent and piercing out of the dark. He stared at Jack, who could only hold on to one of the machines that were fastened to the ground to keep himself upright while floating in weightlessness. "I control matter, gravity and if I wish to even minds. I possess the knowledge of the entire Eridian culture and I hope you understand the meaning of those words, human." He boomed, sounding strong and fierce.
After a few seconds in which Jack had no idea what to say the room slowly began to go back to its original condition, setting everybody carefully on their feet. Jack looked at him in contemplation, after having returned to his powerful stance. If what Rhys had said was true and he really had the knowledge of the Eridians… That information would be priceless. All the things he could do! Finding Vaults! Building weapons! Maybe even control the vault monsters! Whatever was the cost, he needed it all! His train of thought was interrupted by a nasty sound one of the machines made. It had run out of liquid eridium and the tubes connected to Rhys's arms were now empty. The glow in his irises and slowly subsided and he began to sway as his eyes dropped. A thud erupted when his unconscious body hit the metal table he’d been sitting on. --------
Rhys sluggishly woke up. His mind was in a shamble, even having trouble recognizing he was lying in a hospital bed. The throbbing in his head drowned out everything and his whole body ached. He didn't feel the hands on him that were checking the IV's connected to him, only a slight tingle danced over his numb skin at the touch. He just wanted to fall back to sleep and wake back up when everything was better. Rhys faintly heard voices talking as the numbness wrapped around his mind. He happily accepted the dark engulfing him. -------- Everything was nice and colorful. Mild milky white hues wrapped around soft purple, rounding it out, as Rhys felt like he was under water. The colors swam around and formed a room. Even if he’d never seen it, Rhys recognized it as the inside of a vault. He walked around a little, looking at the faint inscriptions on the otherwise smooth walls that acted almost like mirrors. The writing constantly changed language, sometimes English, but the readable words vanished in mere seconds. There was another language that seemed familiar and the strange symbols it was written in stirred something inside his brain like he should be able to read it. Rhys saw a glimpse of his own arms and inspected them further. They glitched in and out two forms. One moment his hands had sharp claws the other normal fingers. As he looked behind him the same was happening with his tail, constantly dis- and reappearing. He tried controlling it so he would be in one form but before he could achieve anything he felt himself fall. Sinking back into the darkness, ending the dream without a warning.
Next Chapter, not yet finished...
