Finished my HUGtto! Pretty Cure rewatch! And what can I say than I’m a totally different person that I have been last year. While I have come to like HUGtto with the final few episodes last year, I’ve totally come to adore the season as a whole! And I am glad that I did this rewatch.

Over all, I think HUGtto! Pretty Cure is a season that needs (at least) a second watch as there’s so much happening in the season that it’s hard to get it all at first. Maybe, after rewatching for a third time, some things will get even clearer, who knows. Fact is, that many things, that didn’t make sense for me during the first watch, made sense and were well done as I rewatched the season. Of course, since I knew the show, there was nothing new for me and I knew what would happen, but it is not always a bad thing? After all, I really enjoy watching Pretty Cure seasons for more than only one time! Don’t ask me how many times I’ve watched Fresh Pretty Cure, Yes! Pretty Cure 5 or Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo! Just like these seasons, I can see myself go to watch HUGtto! Pretty Cure in the future, if I need something nice to watch (same goes for HaCha and Go! Pri btw).

Note: I ended up typing a lot. Imma add a Keep Reading instead! :)

But as it always is, with everything you like, there are things you don’t like. It is always like that, and with HUGtto as well. For one thing, I didn’t like the short comings of several characters, such as Ruru for example. She might have gotten a lot of episodes with Emiru, but these were mainly to tell her “liking someone is okay, even if you are different than them”, which is not bad, but since she always got the same lesson, it felt like Ruru didn’t get much of development after she became a Cure - until Traum appeared at least. Their interactions were always funny and pure. I love them!

Saaya’s development may have been rushed and at some point maybe forced, but she had her share of episodes where she slowly developed a new dream, which was wonderful in my opinion. Now, she didn’t really have a lot of episodes were she was the main-main-centered character, but she did develop in some other filler episodes that, if you think about it, are actually Saaya episodes. And I do not have to hide the fact that I love Saaya’s development very much.

I know a lot of people didn’t like Homare’s crush being her second plot, but I personally wasn’t bothered by it that much - during the second watch. I also hated it during the first watch. However, now I realized that this plot was well done. Whether you ship mouse and girl or not, the point is not the shipping, it is the strength that one gains. Homare’s arc is supposed to tell the kids that falling in love is not a bad thing, and that if your love is not returned, you can still be strong - just be cause you cry doesn’t mean that you are weak. Sometimes, lifting a secret is better for yourself than holding it back.

Emiru on the other hand, has gotten quite a lot episodes, in which she developed from her “It’s dangerous nanodesu” self into a girl, on which others can rely and which will never hold back her dreams - in other words will never stop playing guitar because that’s what she likes to do. While Emiru had a lot episodes, I think the least Emiru-centered episodes actually showed anything new. Emiru sure is a cute girl (praise my MaCherie doll) but she has gotten a lot of focused episodes, when she was already well developed and that, in my opinion could have been used on something else. But Emiru is fun and her faces are always entertaining, so nothing to complain here. (The best development still goes to her bro, though. Sorry Emiru)

And Hana--- I don’t know what to say with Hana. I love her - but I have already loved her and her development during the first watch. But imma be honest, with all stories that end with the pink character being the centered plot point; Hana has done the best job, as HUGtto wasn’t all about Hana from the beginning and Hana just simply deserved to have this final showdown with George (which I admit had to watch a whole of 3 times to finally like it, cuz it is - in fight terms - really lame. It’s more impacting based on the things that are said). For people who aren’t sure how Hana developed: Hana started off as a girl, who had been shamed by her old classmates and thus has been questioning herself a lot. Once she even wondered if “cheering on others” was the only thing she could do. But thanks to her experience, she could grow over her past self and fully accept herself with her strengths and weaknesses. - Or at least that’s my impression of Hana’s development.

I don’t know how to say that, but all the people that have talked with me about HUGtto once before know that I like Criasu, as a villain organisation a lot. I like how in detail Criasu as a whole is (and the fact that the main villain is basically the economy. Thank you Toei xD). My favorite villains of the season where the first three that were purified - or defeated, in Daigan’s case (it was over in 5 minutes) -, even though I’m not that solid on Charaleet, but he was funny from time to time, so I’m not complaining. (See that? Throw in some good humor and you got me) I think the problem Criasu had was the fact why I love it so much - every villain had their own reason to stop time. Each of them have their own story - but because of that... Each story had to be developed, and we hardly got the time to see the stories of all employees of Criasu, which is why, especially Listol and Bicine got almost nothing, and I can’t really say that I care much about Gelos, which is sad, since I do think she is an interesting character (JinJin and Takumi on the other hand.... eh...). And - I know that was never the goal of HUGtto as he was supposed to be somewhat a mystery - I wished we had learned a little more about George. Because, ... you know I shouldn’t, but I can’t help it? I feel sympathy for him and it’s weird but I do. Still no excuse to be a creep.

Glad that everyone of Criasu got somewhat like a new life. It is really refreshing and I like it when the defeated villains don’t just disappear.

Ah- actually, you know what? I wanted to continue with the episodes that I didn’t like as much (or at all), but since I’ve started with “I wished we had known more about”, I need to add in, something I kept complaining about the whole rewatch: I really wished we had known more about Cure Tomorrow. I never knew I liked Cure Tomorrow so much until I found myself complaining that we never even saw Tomorrow fighting. I guess, yes, it was not her story... but still! It would have been so cool! Better than the Minna wa Purikyua anyway...

So.. where was I? Oh yeah, with the episodes I didn’t like as much. I am surprised to say that there weren’t many, which I really didn’t expect, since I expected the second half to be a lot worse than the first was - the first half was better but the second still wasn’t a total mess. Among the 49 episodes we had, there are a total of 8 episodes which I didn’t enjoy, which didn’t have good pacing, where the built up was missing etc.

Rules were; if the episode upsets me, it will be added to the list. Some episodes were better, some were the worst, for the story of HUGtto, in my opinion. But before I tell you what I thought was missing in/wrong with the episode, please note, that I really didn’t like how the Cures got the attack Minna de Tomorrow! The episode itself was good! But the whole Mother Heart thing was just too rushed in my opinion. This should have been a two parter. So in case you wonder why you don’t find the episode on my list: I did enjoy it and did think it was a good episode - until the Mother Heart stuff.

20: Cure Macherie and Cure Amour! Hooray hooray! The Pretty Cure of Love!

(I’m actually one of the people who think it had been better if HUGtto had stayed a 3 Cures team. But that is not the reason why I’m not happy with the episode). I love you Emiru, Ruru, but I just didn’t like how you got your powers. ... It’s not that you didn’t deserve it, but... I have an issue with Mother Heart in general - they should have explored the whole Mother Heart plot a lot further. “Miracles happen”, yeah, but do miracles excuse a story to be rushed? IMO, this either should have been solved differently, or should have been a two parter as well.

But luckily the next Twin Love episodes were good stuff! So welcome to the team Cure MaCherie, Cure Amour!

28: Catch That Heart? Hooray Hooray! Mogumogu!

I... have tried to explain my problems to my friends when I watched it, but I just cannot get it in words... Imma try again. So the episode... is a mess. Papple’s appearance was unnecessary but it rescued the episode. Whoop Whoop! Great comedy. I do get and like the message they tried to deliver. And Emiru and Ruru’s talk was very touching. But just .... the WHOLE way they delivered ... the episode as a whole...

I have got nothing to say. Next!

(Btw. the message I understood was that you don’t need to change yourself to make others like you. Being yourself is the best thing! And it doesn’t matter if you are different or not.)

34: The Great Detective, Kotori! The Big Sister Investigation!

Kotori!! Precious bean has become the third member of Team Yell! --- I mean Cure Yell-san fanclub. While it is an over all good episode idea... I didn’t think it was well done. I don’t know myself what was bad again or what could have been improved, but since it is HUGtto, it probably had pacing problems. And right now, I wished we had seen more sisterly moments between Hana and Kotori.

LOOONNGG SIGH The crossover disaster

Actually two episodes, I take it as one. Just... you know? They did really interrupt the flow of HUGtto’s story. And I really think they were not good for HUGtto at all. But we gotta advertise the 15th anniversary movie. Fine, fine, let’s get going.

41: Emiru's Dream, Shout It From Your Soul!

(looks at notes: “had many good parts though”)

I suppose I liked the fun elements the episode had, like how everyone tries to talk to nyanko face Emiru or how everyone reacts to her. And the Emiruru talk was very touching (it always is very touchging) but I suppose I didn’t like watching it.

No, actually, I did struggle putting it on the list, as it was a good episode for Emiru, but I felt like something was lacking, even if I can’t put it in words. Much like Emiru lost her voice that episode.

Best point of the episode goes to Masato though. May his jokes rest in potatoes.

42: One Yell For Another! This Is My Cheer!

(pls don’t hate me dear fandom)

Cure Infini was a great step in Pretty Cure history, and I will never act like it wasn’t!! The thing is... I was missing the built up towards Cure Infini. Yes, we had the one episode where Listol confronts him and then at the end of episode 41 we saw Henri fall. But that was all. I would have loved to see a little more built up towards this. I never asked Toei to put Henri in a car accident.. dear god Toei... just maybe... even earlier let Henri have obvious struggles.

But looking at what we got, it was just too rushed for me, and Cure Infini had deserved better. Maybe even join Criasu for a little and then break free from it and become Cure Infini. Just... something!

45: HUGs For All! Merry Christmas☆

How to improve the episode: Take away the whole stupid “Santa falls from the Sky” thing and we are good. Thanks.

Long review, one thought: HUGtto! Pretty Cure is a good and very emotional season with amazing characters (minus JinJin and Takumi... though they were funny in the Christmas episode) and a touching plot! It also helped me a lot with having faith in my future... something no Pretty Cure season could have done since Yes! Pretty Cure 5 (please note that the first time I watched Go! Pri was in 2018. But Go! Pri also helped me a lot).

I hope that everyone can also look forward to the future. Stopping time is an impossible thing! You may never see the next episode of Pretty Cure if you do!!

You'll dream of someone special from now on, they say, someone who'll be your best friend and someone you'll want to spend the rest of your life with

Eunwoo blinking

Eunwoo's dad adding thoughtfully that he might not dream of anyone yet though, if his soulmate is younger

Eunwoo's dad dreamt about his mum when he was ten, for example, because his mum was three years his junior

Eunwoo nodding, because MJ's told him about meeting Jinjin in his dreams only when MJ was 9

But anyways, his mum continues, even if you dream about them you might not meet each other quite yet

His dad nodding and explaining that unless you already know the person or unless you live close enough to visit, usually soulmates wait until they're older and more able to move around

Some people don't remember their dreams anyway, so even if you tell each other your addresses it isn't a guarantee you're able to visit each other instantly, she explains

And anyway you already meet each other in your dreams every night, his father says, and if you choose to meet too early and give up your nightly dreams for measly once-a-month meetings, it might not be worth it

Eunwoo secretly thinking he'd like to meet them early anyway

And so the night of March 30th, 2004, little Eunwoo pulls the covers over his head and wiggles excitedly and waits for sleep to come

And wakes up the next morning, mildly disappointed

Because all he's dreamt about was a wild fish

And he really doesn't want his soulmate to be a wild fish, he tells his mother, poking at his rice

His teacher said fish generally had short life spans and where would he be if his soulmate decided to die before he met it?

Eunwoo's mum trying not to laugh at his logical explanation and telling him not to worry, his soulmate is probably human and not a wild fish

Eunwoo grumbling under his breath and stuffing more rice in his mouth

And so little Eunwoo pulls the covers over his head every night, wading into sleep and hoping he'll finally, finally meet his soulmate

MJ's already dreamt about a boy called Jinjin and literally would not shut up about him

MJ never shuts up in general but that's an entirely different matter

And he just wants to talk to MJ about someone instead of nodding and listening whenever MJ talks about Jinjin's smile

It's like a crinkle!! Like if you squished a fishball!!

And he wants to talk to someone every night the same way MJ does, sharing about his day and listening to them talk about stuff too

What's it like anyway? Do they just talk?

Do they just float in space or are they somewhere?

Do they get to eat?

What if they wanted to play soccer?

What if they get angry at each other? Do they just wake up?

Little Eunwoo burying his face in his pillow every night and begging his soulmate to turn seven quickly so he can answer all his questions

Until the night of January 26, 2005:

Eunwoo blinks

One moment ago he was literally in his bed, sleepily wrapped around a bolster

And now he's

Floating in space??

At least that's where he thinks he is

There are thousands of small twinkly lights and vague purple shadows

This is the first time he's dreamt of this space, Eunwoo figures, so he might as well explore

Eunwoo wobbling around space and trying to prod smol twinkly things

Until he collides into another warm body

Eunwoo turning around, apology ready on the tip of his tongue but

Eunwoo's eyes meeting with curious, cat-like eyes and chubby cheeks

Eunwoo: ??????? A human ??? In his dream?????

Bin, cheerily: "I'm Binnie!!"

Eunwoo: ?????????

Bin, peeking at Eunwoo: "are you my soulmate?"

And Eunwoo breaks out into a smile because

This is it, this is the person he's been wanting to meet for forever

"I've been waiting for you," Eunwoo says to the smol sunbeam, "Congrats on turning seven!"

Cue baby Binu floating around space

Bin: "and that's Oreo!!"

Eunwoo: "Oreo?"

Bin, scrunching up his nose: "I think?"

Eunwoo, nodding seriously because it makes sense that they'd name a star after a tasty biscuit

He'd name it after ice cream if he could, too

Bin, stopping and peering at Eunwoo: "what do you wanna be when you grow up?"

But before he can respond, Bin says, flopping onto his back and staring into more space: "I wanna be an astronaut!!"

Eunwoo: "Why?"

Binnie: "I wanna see the stars!"

Eunwoo: "Why?"

Binnie: "Because they're big and twinkly and I wanna see aliens!"

Eunwoo: "Why?"

Binnie, flopping onto his belly and chinhands-ing at Eunwoo: "Cos it's cool and I wanna protect Earth! What do you wanna do?"

Eunwoo staring at his hands and looking back up at Binnie squishing his cheeks and wondering if his dream of being a judge was too boring

Binnie, blinking expectantly:

Eunwoo: "A judge?"

Binnie, slightly squished: "Why!"

Eunwoo: "I wanna protect good people from bad people and put bad people away?"

Binnie, beaming at Eunwoo: "CoOooOoL!!!"

Eunwoo, blinking and blushing slightly:

Binnie: "So we both wanna protect people!"

Eunwoo, smiling a little: "Yeah?"

Binnie: "We're gon be protectors of the universe!"

And Eunwoo can't help it, Binnie's enthusiasm is so infectious he starts giggling and Binnie does too

Eunwoo: "Is this why we're meeting in space?"

Binnie, blinking: "I didn't choose it! It was just here when I fell asleep!"

Eunwoo, humming a little: "Well, I like it."

Binnie, wrapping his smol arms around Eunwoo's middle and beaming sleepily up at Eunwoo: "Yeah, and if we come here again tomorrow we can explore more!!"

(Eunwoo's heart seizing up then melting a little)

Eunwoo, carefully kissing Bin's forehead the same way he sees his dad kiss his mum in the morning

"Goodnight, Binnie."

"Night night, Noo."

Eunwoo, blinking a little at 'Noo' before drowsily smiling and drifting off into unconsciousness

(It's only when he wakes up the next morning that he realises he and Binnie have traded literally no information whatsoever, and so his Notebook on Soulmate remains empty except for: "Binnie, Jan 26, 2005: Space!")

Of course, the next time they meet, it's no longer in space

Well, not outer space, anyway

It's in an empty room on what feels like a space station, and Bin's hugging a gigantic teddy bear taller than he is

"I've named him Cloud," Binnie says, by way of greeting

Eunwoo bowing to Cloud and settling down next to Bin

"Where are we?"

"Dunno," Binnie says, snuggling into Cloud, “but there’s a window over there and I think you can see Earth?”

"No doors," Eunwoo muses, and gets to his feet to explore the room

"It's a dream," Binnie looks at Eunwoo prodding at the wall, "I think you get to make the room."

And almost as Bin finishes his sentence, the walls of the room start changing colours

Suddenly the walls are white and blue and Bin's legs are swinging off a blue platform

Bin squeaking and scrambling away from the edge, then squeaking again because he's ended up in a hammock

He has to steady himself and climb onto Cloud before peering down at Eunwoo

Eunwoo looking up at Bin and blinking

Hmm, overestimated the distance, he thinks

"You're too far away, Noo," Bin says

And suddenly a blue slide appears to Bin's right and Eunwoo laughs, "Slide down!"

Bin looks doubtful for a second, but Eunwoo moves to the end of the slide, hands outstretched and waiting for Bin

And so Binnie does, giggling and crashing into Eunwoo's waiting arms

Eunwoo surveying the room and declaring: "you know what's missing?"

Binnie, half a beat before Eunwoo says it: "a ball pit!!!!!!"

And they're surrounded by blue and white and navy balls and they're flailing around and tossing balls at each other and Binnie is laughing and beaming at Eunwoo and all Eunwoo can think about is how much he really, really likes making Binnie smile

Jan 27, 2005: Cool blue room - Binnie likes ball pits!

In another corner of space, this time one of Bin's creation:

Eunwoo: "I'm a Taurus I think? And an Ox?"

Bin, wiggling: "You're an Aries, Noo, and your star's there!"

Eunwoo: "where's yours then?"

Bin, spinning on his back and pointing at another patch of space

Bin also pointing out another star: "that's Rocky's!"

Eunwoo: "Rocky?"

Bin: "One of my friends from my neighbourhood!! He hasn't turned seven yet, so he hasn't had a soulmate dream so I tell him about you!"

Eunwoo, peeking at Bin: "what d'you say?"

Binnie, beaming: "it's a secret!!"

Feb 16, 2005: Bin's galaxy - I'm an Aries and Binnie's an Aquarius. Binnie's best friend is called Rocky!

In a small cafe, with doors opening onto strange red sand and a full view of a green moon:

Eunwoo: "why are there only two seats?"

Binnie, looking at Eunwoo like he's crazy: "there are only two of us!"

Eunwoo flushing and laughing

Binnie, pulling out random items from bright red cupboards: "what do you wanna eat for your birthday?"

Eunwoo, staring at frozen dumplings and uncooked rice grains and tubs of sauces and asking doubtfully: "can you cook?"

Binnie tugging Eunwoo closer to the counter: "if I can dream it being cooked, why not?"

Eunwoo: "can we even eat in dreams?"

Binnie, beaming: "we can try!!"

Binnie pulling out popcorn kernels: "popcorn?"

Eunwoo, doubtfully looking around for a stove (that seems to be made of glass) and for pans (that seem also to be made of glass)

Eunwoo, prodding a blender: "why is everything made of glass?"

Bin, juggling two eggs: "dunno?"

Eunwoo, mildly panicking because ??????? that'll make such a mess if Binnie drops them??? ???? ?

But also this is a dream so when Binnie does drop them it's into a glass pan over a glass stove with obviously invisible heating skills, because the egg cooks in no time

Bin carefully slicing the egg yolk out of the centre of the egg and delivering it to Eunwoo's plate

Eunwoo: ????

Bin, tossing another egg into the pan: "don't like egg yolks"

Eunwoo hesitantly holding a forkful of yolk to his mouth: "what if we can't eat and we wake up?"

Binnie pausing to consider this and tilting his head

Binnie bounding around the counter and pressing a sticky kiss to Eunwoo's cheek: "just in case then! Happy Birthday and g'night, Noo!"

Eunwoo flushing slightly and beaming at Bin: "here goes then!"

And as soon as the fork hits his mouth, Eunwoo blinks awake, moonlight streaming in through the curtains onto his bed

Eunwoo groggily reaching for a pencil and scribbling onto the nearest piece of paper to him

March 30, 2005: Bin's kitchen - Binnie hates egg yolks but loves popcorn. Also, we can't eat in dreams.

By a lake running yellow and strange purple bubbles that smell like freesia:

Bin: "and she just started scolding us for no reason!!! We weren't even making that much noise!!"

Eunwoo: nodding sympathetically: "perhaps she was just having a bad day?"

Bin, groaning and leaning on Eunwoo's shoulder: "she's just a witch and I hate her, Noo!!"

Eunwoo sliding his arm around Binnie's shoulder and laughing because: "are you sure you don't just hate math?"

Binnie glaring half-heartedly at Eunwoo before smiling reluctantly: "that's only half the problem!!"

June 8, 2005: A lake, somewhere - Binnie hates math and his math teacher?

In a garden of Eunwoo's imagination:

Binnie, prodding a pear blossom: "and this one?"

Eunwoo, scrunching up his nose: "friendship I think?"

Binnie, pointing at a smeraldo: "this one?"

Eunwoo: "something about the truth? I think?"

Binnie, poking a red rose: "what about this one?"

Eunwoo pretending to think really hard

Binnie, peeking at Eunwoo expectantly:

Eunwoo, finally: "it's a red rose, silly, it means love"

Binnie, nodding: "thought so"

Binnie, plucking it and stuffing it behind Eunwoo's ear and humming happily and moving into a gardenia: "and this one?"

Sept 27, 2005: Flower garden - I think my new favourite flower might be a red rose.

Eunwoo learns in school that you don't have to marry your soulmate

He frowns a bit, because the only pair of people he's actually confirmed to be soulmates are his parents and they're married

But his teacher taps gently on the board and calls the class to attention and explains that soulmates don't necessarily have to be romantic

They're meant to be your best friends, first and foremost; they're meant to be the person that understands you best and someone you'll want to spend time with

Sometimes they're your siblings, sometimes they're your best friends, sometimes they're someone you meet online

Taeyang pipes up and says there are a pair of twins two years up that he knows are soulmates

Dokyeom nods and tells everyone about the time his cousin went to his new job and his soulmate turned out to be his new boss, and the whole class erupts into giggles

When his teacher asks how many of them have dreamed of their soulmates before, more than half of those who've had their birthdays raise their hand

When his teacher asks again how many of them have met their soulmates, only Mingyu has his hand raised and everyone ooooohs at him

yet again, im dumb so we have two weeks worth! i’ll be on top of it next time, i promise!

THAT MADE ME REALIZE i gotta trudge through the sad first before getting to the happy. but when i got to the happy, BOY OH MAN it was definitely happy. big recommendation right here!

childhood anon i know i said part 2 would be fluffy!Binu but i am also trash that has to deliver that in the next part so here we go

Bin peering out his main door at the apartment next door

There's been movers all morning and he just wants to see who it is that's taking Eunwoo's room

Sleeping in Eunwoo's room

(He wants to know if Eunwoo left his glow-in-the-dark stickers up or if he brought it along with him to wherever he went)

Smol Rocky popping up in the corner of Bin's eye

"Hi!! I'm Park Minhyuk!!!!!!"

Bin blinking at this bean, this smol person the universe sent him to replace his beautiful, smiling, kind Eunwoo

Rocky beaming at Bin and waiting for him to respond

Only to have Bin turning around and disappearing into his own house

Rocko staring confusedly and slightly sadly at Bin's door

When Bin is 8.6 and Rocky is 7.5:

Rocky's mum holding his hand and bringing him over to meet the neighbours

Rocky bouncing on the balls of his feet because look!! He's going to make a new friend!!!!

Bin's mum answering the door with a smile and her hand on SuA's hair

Bin's mum calling out for him to come meet the new neighbour boy !!!! A new friend !!

Bin trudging to the door because he doesn't want to make friends with anyone who isn't Eunwoo

Rocky beaming at this grumpy boy because hey, who doesn't want to be friends with this amazing child Park Minhyuk?

Nobody, that's who

And so he wiggles over to Bin and reaches up to place his fingers in Bin's forehead and rubbing it in small, soft circles the same way his mum does when she tries to get him to stop crying

And this is how Bin meets his second best friend, eyes red and sniffling and thinking of Eunwoo

When Bin's mum tells the story Bin cringes in embarrassment and Rocky howls with laughter because it does seem to be a trend with Bin and his best friends

When Bin is 9 and Rocky is 7.9:

Rocky: "hyung, I'm scared"

Bin: "of what? You're the one who made me sign up with you"

Rocky: "what if I can't dance?"

Bin, shoving Rocky slightly:

Rocky, pouting:

Bin, sighing and rubbing Rocky's forehead because "you can, you idiot, I believe in you"

Rocky, beaming:

Because that's what you do when you're best friends

You believe in each other

When Bin is 9.1 and Rocky is 8 and Jinjin is 10.9:

Rocky, rubbing Bin's forehead: "it's just a B, it's fine!! it doesn't even count into your final grade anyway"

Bin, wailing because he's never gotten a B in his life

This is the first B since Eunwoo left and he doesn't know how to deal and just ??

What if he gets a C the next time??

What if he fails??????????

Bin wailing even louder and Rocko pressing his fingers against Bin's forehead even harder to comfort his friend

Jinjin, walking into this really weird scene of Rocky having his hand on Bin's forehead and Bin sobbing and clutching a test paper:

Jinjin:

Jinjin: "uh ok Dance Practice starts in half an hour so if you could clean up??"

Rocko, glaring because is Bin in any way fit to dance rn?

Jinjin:

Jinjin: "ur right ok"

Jinjin sitting down next to Binnie and telling him about the first time he got a B and how his mum practically disowned him

Rocko, glaring even harder:

Jinjin choking and telling Bin that she laughed like less than half a minute later and told him that if that was the response he expected, he was wrong because she's his mother and she'll love him through all his Bs and he should never ever worry about disappointing her because he's already the pride and joy of her life

Smol Jinjin sniffling and hugging his mum around the waist and never daring to dip below an A again

Rocky nodding in acceptance

Bin stopping his sniffling and hugging both Rocko and Jinjin

Jinjin casually disentangling himself from Bin's snotty nose and putting on some music so they can start Dance Practice early

Bin's mum doesn't know about this incident still, but whenever Rocky tells the story of how they became friends with Jinjin Bin cringes in embarrassment and Jinjin howls with laughter

When Bin is 12.2 and Rocky is 11.1 and Jinjin is 14:

Bin and Rocky and their junior Chani low-key freaking out over the dance showcase next week

Jinjin laughing and watching them dance and telling them that "you guys look good, stop worrying, you're always in sync and it's great"

Three of them practicing every day, every minute, all the way to the showcase

Jinjin constantly being there for them with water bottles and towels

Youngbin and Jinjin, jokingly reminding them that they have to do this when it's the seniors' showcase next semester before shoving them backstage

Rocky and Bin trembling slightly because this is it, this is what they've poured their blood, sweat and tears into for the past two months

Chani looking at Youngbin and Jinjin with wide, doe eyes shining with apprehension

Jinjin softening and pressing his fingers against all three foreheads and rubbing them in turn: "you'll do fine, kids. I believe in you."

Because that's what you do when you're best friends

You believe in each other

Bin and Rocky, beaming like the sun at Jinjin when they take a bow from the stage

When Bin is 16 and Rocky is 14.9 and Jinjin is 17.8:

Bin sitting Rocky and Jinjin down in his bedroom

SuA poking her head in to say hi to the boys who've become fixtures in the Moon household over the past 7 years

Rocky and Jinjin joking around and shoving gently at each other and cackling

Bin swallowing hard and looking down at his hands and quietly asking them for their attention

Rocky and Jinjin slowing down and peeking at Bin

Bin folding his legs beneath him and nervously picking at his fingernails

Usually it's Jinjin who's serious and asking them to listen and Rocky is ??? shook?

Bin, telling them in the softest voice about how he's known, he's always known, even before he met Rocky, that he's always liked boys and that while he's always down for appreciating girls he's never like-liked one and he thinks, he's not entirely sure, but he thinks and he believes that

He might be gay?

Jinjin knee-waddling over to Binnie and folding as much of Bin as he can into his arms then letting go pressing his fingers gently against Bin's forehead

Because it's okay, it really is, Bin

He appreciates the courage it took for Bin to tell them but

Binnie needn't be afraid that Jinjin will love him less because whoever Bin chooses to love, he's still the same Bin who spilled coffee onto Jinjin's homework that one time and Jinjin already couldn't love him less

Bin snorting and shoving Jinjin with one hand and wiping red eyes with the other

Rocky silently staring at Bin until Jinjin glares at him

Rocko shrugging and saying, "I never had to tell you guys I was straight, so I don't see why Bin has to tell me he isn't."

Bin bursting out in tears because

He knows they were okay with it, they always were

But hearing them reaffirm it again?

His heart is warm and full and !!!!!!!!!

Rocky snuggling up into Binnie's side

Warm, happy 3stro !!!!!!!

When Bin is 19.2 and Rocky is 18.1 and Jinjin is 21:

Jinjin already at college and coming back every weekend to spend time with his family & Moonrock

Binnie stressing out because he still has to pick a college out of those that accepted him and he really isn't sure which one is best for him

(He's already picked, but he likes to pretend that the fact that Youngbin and Jinjin are at that college doesn't weigh in on the decision)

Rocko getting frustrated at his idiot of a best friend and threatening to burn all his acceptance letters if Bin doesn't pick the one he knows Bin set his heart on the moment Jinjin accepted the offer

He's not saying he didn't set his heart on it then too

When Binnie is 19.7 and Rocky is 18.6 and Jinjin is 21.5:

Rocko hammering hard at his midterm exams

Jinjin helping Bin pack his room up because he's moving to college in a week and his stuff is everywhere and he doesn't really know what to bring that Jinjin doesn't already have

Bin carefully packing his BTOB & BTS albums and Jinjin rolling up Bin's Jungkook poster

Bin opening a box under his bed that he hasn't opened in ten years

A plant encyclopaedia and a somewhat useless magnifying glass

A small foam sword

A soft, faded hoodie dotted with suns and moons and stars

Bin smiling softly and rubbing the hoodie between his fingers and hearing a small crinkling sound

A small, handwritten note Bin’s run his fingers across and folded and unfolded so many times that the paper’s worn and the pencil marks are faded

Bin remembering what Eunwoo wrote, word for word for word, because he read it so many times the day Eunwoo left he can taste on the tip of his tongue Eunwoo’s words the same way he can taste the ache in his heart, as familiar and tear-stained and bittersweet as their kiss

Jinjin breaking in and asking if Bin would like him to take the glow-in-the-dark stars from around the room

Bin opening his mouth to tell him that no, there's no point bringing because they don't glow anymore

But his fingers are caught on the note, tucked safely in the pocket of the small, kid-sized hoodie and Bin finds himself saying yes, yes he'd like to bring them to university, please

Jinjin shrugging and making a mental note to buy some new ones for Bin anyway because these ones don't seem to work anymore and there's never having too many glow-in-the-dark stars, right?

When Bin is 19.7 and Rocky is 18.6 and Jinjin is 21.5 and a few hours later:

Bin and Jinjin going down to the garden that evening and trying to identify plants using the encyclopaedia Bin found under his bed

Jinjin, squinting at the book and back up at the plant: "I think that's a Mandevilla??????"

Bin, softly: "that's a Bougainvillea bush"

Jinjin, flipping the pages and peering at the page in quickly dimming dusk-light: "huh I think you're right"

Bin: "and that's why there aren't any apples"

And when he looks up in confusion, Bin has a funny sort of smile on his face that leaves Jinjin silent

When Bin is 19.8 and Rocky is 18.7 and Jinjin is 21.6:

Binnie shifting into his room in the freshman dorm in his college and Jinjin and his roommate helping out

MJ's delightful and from the stories Bin's heard about him, which are numerous in number because Jinjin will literally Never Shut Up about MJ, he's dumb and funny and will essentially complete 4stro when Rocky moves in the year after

Bin’s roommate shifting in just when MJ places the last star on the wall

And Binnie yelping in surprise because look!! It’s Youngbin!!

Except it isn’t, because Youngbin’s just helping his cousin Taeyang move in

Everyone laughing because look at this room, with a Moon Bin and a Taeyang and Binnie already decorating his half of the room with glow-in-the-dark stars and Taeyang pulling out another pack

Youngbin, laughing: “it’s practically a solar system in here”

Bin, smiling and agreeing because that’s how it’s always been, he’s always been Space Boy

It’s just now, after finding the box that he, for some reason, has brought along and tucked under his new bed, that he suddenly remembers he’s missing his Flower Prince

When Bin is 20.2 and Rocky is 19.1 and Jinjin is 22 and MJ is 24.1:

Rocko with his head bent over books some miles away, slaving away at final exams

Bin and Jinjin and MJ with their heads bent over books at a small, cosy cafe and slaving away at midterms

Bin looking up from his essay and stretching and yawning like a big cat and grabbing a sip of his now-cold coffee

Bin glancing out the floor-to-ceiling windows

And it’s a flash, it’s only a split-second glance, but Bin swears he’s dreamt of that face before

He’s dreamt of those big eyes and long lashes and that gentle, kind smile before, he knows it, and for some reason his heart starts aching in ways he thought he’d forgotten

Bin bursting out of the cafe, looking left and right on a busy street, crowded with students flushing from one class to the next

But it’s gone, the face is gone and its look is slowly slipping from Bin’s memory like cubed ice on warm palms

And when he returns to his seat by the window with MJ and Jinjin peering concernedly at him, he smiles weakly

And tells them a story about a Space Boy and his Flower Prince

ok listen i’m working in a radiography clinic over the summer and last week the most beautiful doctor came in and immediately my mind went to doctor!Eunwoo and i broke down today at @nataliekaytbh so buddy thank u for crying w me today over Eunwoo

are you ready

because i’m sure as hell not

i’ll be crying over doctor!Eunwoo this whole summer

intern Sanha

relegated to the registration counter

meaning that when patients come into the radiographer's he takes their name and phone number and puts it into the system and gives them a waiting number

also meaning that when five patients arrive all at once he's up to his eyes in names and numbers and trying not to go cross eyed my poor child

here to make money not to learn so he doesn't mind doing registration and being busy anyway

highkey me

nurse Jinjin

reads out said waiting number and then brings patients into the x-ray room

and has to confirm they're not pregnant or anything that makes them unable to be exposed to X-rays and stuff in general

also helps sanha do registration sometimes when the queue gets a bit too long

radiographer Bin

most of the time sleepily mans the x-ray machines

sometimes the patients ask him if their x-rays are okay or if there's anything wrong with them

what the hell

Bin's not a doctor he wouldn't know

And so tells them that

And gets whacked on the head by nurse Jinjin who comes to escort out the mildly shocked patients with a forced polite smile on his face @ the patient & a glare @ Bin

Shakes his fist indignantly at Jinjin when he leaves

Lab tech MJ

has the lab right next to the radiographer's clinic

Usually collects blood samples from patients

is very good with needles

is also very good at laUGHING and telling jokes in order to make people forget they're here to get blood sucked out of their souls with a giant needle

sometimes laughs really loudly and makes the radiographer clinic patients wonder what's going on

sometimes makes jinjin wonder what's going on too

not that he gets jealous or anything

not at all

coughs

Nurse rocky

Eunwoo's runner, mostly

Sometimes for the urgent cases that need to be processed immediately rocky doesn't wait for the computer system (which takes centuries) to receive the x-ray

He goes down immediately to bin's and asks whoever's at the registration desk to print it out

i.e, Sanha

i.e., the intern without the password to access x-rays

which means he has to go to jinjin or bin for them

after which he hand-delivers them to Dr. Eunwoo

a lot of staff now know Rocky by name simply because he's always running up and down from Eunwoo's clinic to different departments trying to get stuff for Eunwoo

a sweetheart, really

charms the pants off of all the female nurses

also charmed MJ enough to get MJ to call him whenever MJ's done drawing blood samples from someone from Eunwoo’s clinic

Efficiency™ because that's the way Eunwoo works

ok so mostly because Eunwoo always sends Rocky down he's never been to the radiographer's

Until one day

Sanha messes up

It isn't really a bad mess up !!!!

He just keyed in someone's identification number wrongly

But the thing is that he's been doing that quite a few times

I mean to be fair he's just an intern

And also because he's just started the job !! He makes a couple mistakes sometimes

can you tell I'm basing Sanha off of me and just trying to defend myself rip vivi get ur shit together ;;;;;;

But every time Sanha messes up and Jinjin doesn't manage to check on it and correct it properly the report with the mess up gets sent to Rocky

And Rocky has to waste time trying to fix the mess up

Which takes Rocky away from the important things !! Eunwoo needs him to do !!

But also when Rocky fixes the reports he has to slide on his glasses and it makes all Eunwoo’s patients swoon a Little

Before they go into Eunwoo’s consultation room and swoon a Lot

And so Eunwoo is mildly frustrated and decides to go down during one of his breaks to find out why the radiographer has been messing up the reports so much

And so he swishes his lab coat on & swings his stethoscope off & polishes his glasses and heads downstairs to the radiographer's

Only to see poor Sanha piled underneath a stack of registration forms full of names and phone numbers

Okay

So that's why

And nurse Jinjin is running around like a headless chicken trying to shuffle the right people from the X-ray room to the waiting room and vice versa

And Bin is slumped in his room giving instructions in a monotonous voice to the patients

"take a deeeeep breath"

"don't think of elephants"

"sike lmao I bet u did"

“stOP LAUGHING OH MY GOD YOU’RE GOING TO MESS UP THE XRAY”

"oh my god I didn't tell you to stop breathing you can breathe now"

And the phone is ringing wildly ("so that's why our calls are never answered," Eunwoo thinks) off the hook but nobody can respond because they have like 50 million people in the queue

no lie today i had 50 patients come in over the span of 2 hours it was truly a mess

And so Eunwoo waits for a while

until Jinjin notices that everyone hasn't been speaking for a while and instead staring at a certain corner of the room

in which Eunwoo has been leaning on the wall tapping away on his phone, glasses perched on the bridge of his nose

Looking very much like an angel !!!!!!!!!!!

If angels came with lab coats and glasses

And there's some gentle tittering from the older female patients and some not so gentle whispering and giggling from younger ones

Sanha hasn't even looked up from the registration desk poor dear but if he did he would have-

"oh my god"

Oh well there's sanha looking up then

I mean to be fair jinjin's thought process is somewhere along the same line

But he also has a job to do and no insanely attractive doctor will distract him from it !!!

I mean, an insanely attractive lab tech might but

You know what I mean

Responsible™ Jinjin

So when Jinjin escorts the last giggly girl out of the X-ray room (to be fair the radiographer AND the nurse are both very attractive so really what are the patients to do?) they both finally turn to Eunwoo

And Eunwoo looks up from where he's playing angry birds on his phone to Jinjin smiling politely and Sanha just plain out staring

"hi why are u here where's Rocky"

Jinjin, smacking Sanha on the head: "don't be rude son but yes why are u here where's Rocky"

Sanha turning to Jinjin and saying in a very low, serious voice: "while they're ogling each other I think we should escape"

Also Sanha: talk shit get hit gets hit on the head by Bin who coughs grumpily and says

"Listen I don't know who you think you are but here at the radiographer's we're very busy with um like X-rays and radiography and like uh x-raying people and stuff so like"

"could u like move along"

Eunwoo: "it's your lunch break rn"

Bin, defensively: "weLL YES jinjin apologised for his (Sanha's) mistakes so move along now"

Bin avoiding all eye contact by staring at Eunwoo’s lab coat

Which fits Eunwoo very well, he thinks

Doesn't need to be buttoned but hugs him in all the right places

Which is just as well since eunwoo's in a boring (very well tailored) dress shirt and boring (very well tailored) slacks

And very nice glasses he looks very smart and handsome and

Wait I mean

Bin, turning bright red & coughing: "wow yes we gotta gO"

And ngl eunwoo is a little hurt because there are Very Little people in this world who deny eunwoo's small crinkly smile

And there are Even Lesser people who become grumpy when eunwoo smiles his sunshine beam

And this really cute radiographer with black square glasses too big for his face and a small pout is being very grumpy indeed

So eunwoo smiles at Sanha and Jinjin, takes his leave and wanders out of the clinic back upstairs to his own, wondering what he did wrong

And so when Eunwoo leaves, Jinjin immediately whirls around and hits Bin on the shoulder

"WHAT WAS THAT"

(smack) "WHY DID YOU TELL HIM TO LEAVE"

(more smacks) "HE WAS EYEING YOU UP"

(smacks again) "YOU COULD HAVE BAGGED THAT SWEET CANDY"

Bin, sulkily: "like you could have bagged MJ hyung?"

Jinjin, turning red and mumbling under his breath and stalking away

Sanha, thoughtfully: "am I the only one here without somebody to bag"

And so life goes on in the radiography room, with MJ popping in and out to collect blood samples from patients who need Labstix and are in line for their x-ray and Jinjin blushing every time MJ so much as beams in his general direction

Sanha snorting because wow could they get any more obvious

Bin bet Sanha 5$ that Jinjin would make the first move but at this rate Sanha thinks Bin might have to pay up because there's no way in hell Jinjin can form a coherent sentence with MJ's Beam on Full Blast

But then

Eunwoo pops in again

And immediately all activity in the waiting room is halted to stare at this beautiful beautiful man with beautiful glasses and a beautiful focussed look and a beautiful smile

Bin, coming out to see why jinjin hasn't brought his next patient in & ready to give a piece of mind to whoever interrupted jinjin's clockwork routine

Also Bin: stutters and flushes at the sight of eunwoo

"Uh ok what do u want"

Eunwoo, smiling at Bin: "I'm here to collect the X-ray film of patient 777"

Bin, blurting out in confusion: "where's Rocky?????"

Eunwoo, frowning a little because all this poor angel wants to do is see the cute radiographer pout again but all he's doing is making this poor confused face which i mean,,,, ngl,, is kinda cute too,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

until he realises that all of them are waiting expectantly on his answer (except Sanha, who has reverted to frantically pounding on his keyboard in a desperate attempt to reduce the stack of registration forms beside him)

And he says: "I let him rest????"

Jinjin squinting because as long as he's worked here he's only talked to Eunwoo on the phone because not once has this doctor ever let poor Rocky rest

There has to be an ulterior motive

And that motive (insert mental image of lightbulb going off over Jinjin’s head) is Bin

So he beams at eunwoo and shoves him into the X-ray room with bin and says "YES DO THE MEDICAL TALKY TALK IN THERE GO DO THAT SHIT YOU GO BOYS"

Sanha sighing internally because it just means their queue will be held up rip

Eunwoo, flustered and blinking rapidly because wow now he's in a small, semi-dark kind of enclosed room with a really cute radiographer who's self consciously pushing his glasses up and pouting to himself

Really cute

"Um"

Bin, floundering: "UH YES 777 RIGHT" & bounding over to the computer to print out the report right away mmhmm yes sir

Eunwoo frowning a little because this boy seems like he's trying to get rid of him fast????? But this radiographer’s also really cute and he sees that this boy keeps eyeing Eunwoo so Eunwoo is seriously getting mixed messages?????

So he takes a step forward to bin's table and -

"WHY DO YOU HATE ME"

Oh shit unconscious eunwoo blurting strikes again

Rocky always said it'd hurt him one day

Bin, ultimately, in a really small voice because he's confused and also Eunwoo is standing really close to him and all he can think about is that if he cranes his neck out a little he can touch Eunwoo’s nose with his nose and-

astro witch coven au (eunwoo)

he trained under Snuper’s coven as an apprentice

Snuper as the OG healing team – they’re all nurses but with different healing methods

Eunwoo primarily adopted Sangil’s method of healing via prolonged skin-ship

but as we all know Eunwoo is ridiculously smart

he’s picked up Sebin’s (emotional and psychological healing via empath links) and Suhyun’s (healing aided by chanting and potions) by mere exposure during the time he trained under Sangil

it was really weird when they found out because one day there was this kid who stumbled in with his hand dripping with some glowing substance that couldn’t be wiped off

and normally with supernatural substances Taewoong or Suhyun are called in

but Taewoong had no luck after an hour and Suhyun wasn’t in and the poor boy looked like he was in so much pain that Eunwoo had to do something

so Eunwoo sat him down, gritted his teeth, slid on his glasses and tried to remember as much as possible what he’s seen Suhyun do in these situations

and somehow after 2 hours of low-pitched chanting and a sweating Eunwoo and three discarded healing-song books, the substance finally slid off the boy’s hand

yeah he was shookt

they were all shookt lmao

Eunwoo’s the resident Mum™

honestly though

he knows the boys sometimes don’t go to sleep for days on end, especially when MJ’s rituals require him to chant on and off for 3 days and when Rocky’s potions need constant monitoring overnight and he doesn’t trust anyone to do it

and so he sometimes presses his fingers to their back to help relax their muscles and prepare them for the long night ahead

but most of the time he just presses food on them and makes sure they eat on time at least

also sometimes they’re so messy he just kind of nags them into doing all their chores

and Eunwoo doesn’t know this but lmao most of the time the boys just kind of hand over their chores to Jinjin for favours like leaving him alone in the room with MJ for a while

can be most often found surrounded by books

reads widely about healing methods and different diseases and ailments

but also reads a lot of romance novels

also read Twilight once and coughed so violently in shock they needed Rocky to brew an emergency potion to stop it

also hangs around Bin a lot

like a lot

it’s not even a joke anymore at this point

whenever anyone comes to seek Eunwoo the rest of Astro doesn’t even bother going to the Healing room to look for Eunwoo they just ring Bin’s bell in a specific pattern and Bin has to rouse Eunwoo from whatever he was reading or from whoever (Bin) he’s staring at to go to his patient

Eunwoo maintains that this is because Bin often puts too much of his energy trying out a new spell and passes out and needs Eunwoo to revive him but

we all know why he’s there

team s o A P

he will deny it until the day he dies but he loves seeing blue energy flow out of Bin’s hands and into the talisman

it’s just so graceful?????

and the way Bin’s fingers gently manoeuvre and mold the ball of light ?????????? beautiful

sometimes the energy doesn’t work well and Bin has to focus and his eyes shine with attention and concentration and ???? wow Eunwoo loves that look

incredible

and sometimes Bin’s doing basic things like cleaning the crystals he has to charm or polishing his glasses and he starts humming and smiling to himself and his hair falls into his eyes and wow

like, wow

wow Eunwoo is so whipped

but don’t suggest it to him because he’ll just get flustered and his eyes will widen and he’ll stammer trying to deny everything

“hahahAHAH who ??? has a crush??? on Bin??????? what is a crush haha who’s Bin I’ve never heard of him hHAHhhahahhhhh”

yeah he gets flustered and blushes very easily can you tell

is the one that recruited Bin into the coven

wow let me tell you he’s been whipped for Bin the moment the idiot showed up with a bleeding cut and about 10 crystals hovering around his head

but that’s also a story for another time

is the coven co-founder along with Rocky

this is a long story are you ready because here we go

so one day a witch bursts into the Snuper coven house carrying his daughter on his back and she’s bleeding out everywhere and he’s crying and panicking and pleading, pleading for someone to help her and he’d do anything, just please –

and so Sangil and Suhyun hurriedly clear a Healing table and set her down and Sangho starts treating her wounds with human medicine but her blood won’t stop flowing out

and immediately Taewoong brings out his elemental equipment and Sangil places his hand on her stomach and they start work

both witches sit by her bed for two days and two nights, both stopping briefly only for short breaks when Suhyun delivers the patient’s next batch of potions and begins his chanting

and because the main touch-Healer Sangil is taken up, apprentice Eunwoo is left to tend to the rest of the patients coming in

a lot of them

a lot of patients

okay, not that many

but more than what Eunwoo is used to given that he’s only been dealing with at most two patients a day but now he has to deal with up to ten and by the end of the two days and two nights with very little sleep or rest Eunwoo is exhausted and near the brink of collapse

he’s transferred nearly all his energy to other people during their skin-ship and it’s just really draining

and so Suhyun tells him gently to go outside and take a break and walk over to the Bangtan coven to pick up more potions please because we’re running out

and so he does

and he’s directed into the Potions shop in the basement of the coven house

and remember how I said the first time Eunwoo walks into the potion room he nearly gets smacked on the head by a flying glass vial

lmao

it was Rocky

(“thanks a lot, Park Minhyuk” – Eunwoo, still bitter to this day)

and so exhausted Eunwoo stands teetering on the threshold of Rocky’s Yoongi’s potions room and wow he’s heard from Suhyun that Yoongi was pretty smol and emo and grumpy but

this witch standing behind a bubbling cauldron two metres away is smoller and grumpier than he expects

also younger

Eunwoo coughs“I gotta ??? get an order ??? for Suhyun? ?? ?? ??????????” mm yes very coherent, Eunwoo

he watches as Yoongi Rocky waves his hand and warm golden waves wrap themselves around vials on a nearby table and wafts them into an open bag, which floats over to Eunwoo

except Eunwoo’s eyes are slipping closed and he sags against the doorway for support

and our smol Rocky, while grumpy, is somewhat alarmed

he tugs the closest Restoration potion from the wall of potion vials behind him and runs over to Eunwoo, uncorking the bottle and tipping it into Eunwoo’s mouth

“drink, you idiot”

Eunwoo is also still bitter to this day that Rocky dropped honorifics but

when someone is saving your life I guess you can’t be picky

and Rocky looks so threatening and grumpy and also mildly alarmed that Eunwoo opens his mouth in alarm and nearly chokes on the Restoration potion

and Eunwoo isn’t sure if anything someone so grumpy made could ever work well because Eunwoo was taught that you have to be in a good mood to help and heal people ???

wrong (ddeng sound)

it worked very well

honestly, too well

Eunwoo’s eyes shoot open and he feels tingling all the way down to his feet, a gentle green light running over his limbs and all the way down to his fingertips and toes

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – Eunwoo, at that point in time

because he’s never had such a strong reaction to a Restoration potion before?? even when Suhyun got it from this place and he gave some to Eunwoo he’s never had such an in-tune reaction to the potion

literally though Eunwoo’s glow only comes out when he’s touching someone and in the conscious process of Healing

but he’s now glowing with green light all over and he’s laughing and everything seems clearer and brighter and he’s grinning down at the now more-than-slightly alarmed Rocky

and offers to set up a coven with Rocky right then and there because how??? does this smol potioneer (that he discovers in a bit is Not Yoongi and is in fact his smol cousin)

and proceeds to sweep out of the Bangtan house to put down a lease payment for a new coven house before Rocky even agrees

Rocky was shookt, to say the least
