idk why but you reblogging that ask u did about Peppino performing for Brick reminded me, and I just NEEDED to share this silly idea but... Peppino gardening... just, like, garlic and tomato plants n stuff, it's cheaper than buying all the time, even if he's not exactly growing enough to make that much of a dent in his bills, it's about the PROCESS PEOPLE and just aekssf Peppino in his little garden tending to his little plants and some flowers, it started out as something to help with personal costs but now it's such a soothing activity it's his little zone and he tells no one about it and making a pizza with his own home grown tomatoes just hits different when he's in a real rough mood. just yeah peppino gardening...

WAUGH this is so cute omg…I cant see him growing TOO MUCH bc some veggies are so fucking delicate but garlic seems doable! Same with stuff like basil and thyme and oregano. Its not necessarily low maintenance but you dont need to constantly get expensive resources to maintain them. Maybe he uses SOME of it for his shop but i can definitely see him using most of it for his own cooking bc hes been doing it since he was young, way back when he was still living w his parents (and he just got the habit from them)

I hc him with a small house (that hes forced to use as collateral to keep the shop open) so like, he would definitely have the space to grow some other small veggies like spinach n tomatoes. With his shop failing miserably hes got Plenty of time to at least go out and make sure theyre not dying 😭 But i can see him making it look more lively postgame when hes got the proper funds to keep the shop open. Old man tending to his tiny little garden :) its mindless work really and it keeps his hands busy. When hes more used to Gus and Brick (and any company in general lbr) coming over to visit; Brick helps with gardening too; his hugeass Rat Hands can tear up at the soil way better than Peppino and his little trowel can. And w the shop doing well he can afford to take days off and even open later in the day so he has more time to himself to do other things (like tend to his tiny garden) (or maybe fucking sleep in for once)

Look the other day, we run out of watter in house 'cause the provider cut it for a while, it happends often, mostly when it happends is normal to stay 6 to 7 hours until the change of turn where the next group of workers remembers to give us watter again, so I thought then 'I don't wanna wait 'till 1pm to be able to go to the bathroom or make use of water, so i sat in my living and imagined the sound of the watter runing again in the kitchen, I did it for about 15 minutes. Nothing happened. Then I went to the bathroom, did my things, and still no watter so I figured out some water from somewhere else to wash my hands and bla bla bla... but thought again, WE have to do our things, We NEED water to cook and finish the day as it should, we need it, not just us but our neighbourgs too, so I stayed there, closed my eyes and imagined again the watter running this time in the bathroom, I've probably done this about 3', as at the same time was thinking 'this isn't working, if this time also doesn't work I better leave it. Probably I'm crazy' BUT guess what? The minute I thought it the watter started to flow again... Is like counsciousness has a good sence of humor, like black humor or 'it' decides when things will manifest as one wants...

For example right now I NEED to get out the place I'm currently living, move away with my pets, and I do the same process but nothing happends! Things get worse here and I'm tired. It's been a while that I'm on it so It should work aswell here too. But nothing happends...

there is no subjective to objective you are still seeing a separation. you just replaced “physical reality” and “imaginary” with “subjective” and “objective”. neither of these things exist nor do they matter. as consciousness you are everything and you dont have to do anything. if youre currently very attached to identifying as the ego then its no doubt its hard for you to grasp. and that’s okay. personally i don’t see a problem with you attempting to use loa to manifest your problems away, i do it whenever my ego wont stop bothering me but ill never look to non dualism for a solution as the ego because it doesn’t understand its not real in the first place. you were doing a technique to turn your water on, aka manifesting. you deemed it as a process and the moment YOU were aware of the actual water turning on, not the method making the water turn on, it turned on. even though you consciously used loa, it is still non dualism because thé instant you were aware was the instant it existed. hope this makes sense! good luck on your journey :)

First, authorly rambles! (just skip this lol): I try and strike a balance between things happening when they logically should in these chapters in terms of character development and plot progression in the overall story, while also delivering something of a cohesive whole on a chapter-by-chapter basis. I also want to manage how things are coming off tonally, by allowing some sort of levity/breathing room for the reader. I don't necessarily want a chapter to be like "angst / angst / angst / action scene / more angst" without allowing some sunshine to peek through -- it's a pacing thing too, right? I try to be delicate with you lovely folks who are reading, bc as much as the initial goal was to write this story for myself, I want you to have a good time too 💝

ANYWAY, the point I'll (eventually) make here is: these scenes might get shuffled around a bit, bc for the above reasons, I don't want to hit you back to back with:

We get to see Delphine! She and Cas have a much-needed hang out at the Venandi Fighting Pits 🥹

We'll also see some familiar faces we haven't heard from lately!

also! i realised that i misread your question; i didn’t realise you meant writing tips for your essays 😭😭 i thought you were asking more about fic / creative writing !! but omf i really miss studying english literature,, it was definitely one of my favourite subjects in school so i hope you’re having fun-ish with it 🥹 i think my biggest tip for essay writing (specifically where u have to dissect a literary piece) would be to follow the process of evidence > device > analysis > reader effect !! i think everyone is taught this but many people seem to forget about the effect part?

for example, if you were looking at a poem and were discussing the use of alliteration or sibilance or whatever, make sure to 1) identify the literary device (“plath’s use of sibilance in ‘x’, ‘x’ and ‘x’…”), 2) describe the effect of using that device (“…delivers a soft, soothing sound…”) 3) and discuss the resulting effect on the reader/the way the piece may be perceived (“…that creates a sense of stillness and peace, thus characterising plath as blah blah blah”)

srry a bit of a rough example since it was just off the top of my head but i hope that makes sense 😭 always link back to ur topic sentence !! pay attention to grammar and flow !! make sure to use active (not passive) voice when you describe the author’s use of a literary device (plath uses sibilance, not plath’s use of sibilance) !! LMK IF U WANT MORE TIPS IDK ITS KIND OF BEEN A WHILE SINCE IVE STUDIED ENG LIT 😭😭

also i just realised i was also meant to link this post, which is a little more updated re: creative writing tips but yk creative writing is soooo subjective so pls don’t take my tips for gospel and write whatever makes most sense for u 😽😽💖💘💓
