it’s dawned on me recently that so many of my best creative decisions, jewelry and otherwise, have come out of trying to make the best out of less than ideal circumstance.

when I shop for myself, there’s a cohesion to what I keep that makes pairing pieces easier, but also doesn’t push me as much to try new things.

when I curate for the shop, the aesthetic net is wider, and what happens to be available at any given moment are often pieces I’d not think to pair. sometimes this leaves me frustrated when attempting to style, but also satisfying when I can make it work! this is one of those looks
