Anetra stares at the mirror in front of her, eyebrows furrowed as her hair falls loose over her shoulders. She runs a hand through the dark brown strands, letting out a frustrated sigh escape as she leans back in her desk chair, defeated.

“You okay?” Sasha calls from behind her, looking up from her phone. She’s already dressed up and ready to go- in black leggings and Anetra’s spare jersey hanging loose over her shoulders. When Anetra turns to look at her, she has to bite back a smile at the sight of her girlfriend dressed up like that. They’ve been together for a while now, and this isn’t the first time Sasha has worn her jersey to her football matches, but to Anetra it never gets old.

“Yeah, it’s just my hair.” She groans. “Aura usually does hair before a match but she’s sick so I don’t-'' Anetra’s lips form into a pout. “I don’t know how to do it myself.”

Sasha rolls her eyes, setting her phone down next to her before uncrossing her legs, patting the now free space in front of her. Even in the feigned annoyance Anetra can still see the fondness in her eyes.

“You’re such a baby. Come here.”

Anetra grins, crawling into bed with a couple of hair ties in hand. When she gets close to Sasha she can’t help but plant a soft kiss on her lips. With her wavy brown hair worn down and Anetra’s number on her back, who is she to resist?

“Thank you.”

Sasha moans into the kiss, and Anetra can feel her smiling into it, but she pulls away first to speak. “You’re welcome. Now turn around, we’re gonna be late.”

Anetra chuckles at her girlfriend’s commanding tone, but lets Sasha position her in between her legs. She bites back a joke about being in between her legs because she knows Sasha will scold her for it. “Okay boss.”

Sasha runs her hands through Anetra’s hair, already getting to work. She puts her hair in a tight ponytail, even adding a braid running through the top. Working in silence, with her lips pursed in concentration, she does one last tug at the braid on top before finally pulling away. “There. Tell me if it looks good.”

Anetra scoots off of her bed to get closer to the mirror by her desk. Her fingers delicately graze Sasha’s work, noticing how not a single strand is out of place, and her heart flutters for just a moment.

She can’t help but say something about it. “I’m so lucky you’re my girlfriend.”

“Fuck yeah you are.” Sasha scoffs, rolling her eyes before getting out of bed herself to grab her shoes off of the floor. She leans down to slip them on, and the hair falling over her face in the process does a good job at hiding the creeping blush on her cheeks. “Put your shoes on, we’re already running behind.”

Anetra laughs. “Yes Ma’am.”

She can’t help but say something about it. “I’m so lucky you’re my girlfriend.”

We all know they're an amazing writer, this one is obvious, they have a gift for characterization and most of all the joy they get from writing is contagious; you can tell it's something that they enjoy immensely and it's catching.

I think they're probably one of if not the kindest person I've ever talked to if I'm honest. They're incredibly courteous and thoughtful and very sharp. There's something very comforting about talking with them, i really don't know how someone can be this calming and soothing, it's always struck me as remarkable how at ease they've always made me feel.

They're f u n n y. So funny. And on more than one occasion we've done the stupid single braincell thing when talking to each other and it's made my heart feel full and laugh out loud.

I'm not actually kidding when I say there's something rather magical about them. It's not only the writing magic, or the clouds or the good wish/vibes; there's something about them that is quite special and there is nobody I'd rather go to when I wish to be a pest about drag race stuff or baking shows or miscellaneous tv shows, i think we're very lucky for knowing them 😊

11. What work took you the longest to write?

this year?? i mean soulmate au has been a wip since early september so i think that one takes the cake, but as-of-yet unreleased postcards fic was conceptualized in may and is looking to be my longest fic yet so that one might beat it. for posted fics it was scam likely, which i think i started in march 2022??

19. What’s one pairing you want to explore next year?

i think i wanna do more lemyanka maybe? and i would like to actually write for s16 ships when people are into them because i missed that for s15 :p who knows if i will, because i'm not really the type to write ships i'm not into myself, but i'm hoping i'll find one that i enjoy!!!! :)

#speaking of s16 #i am a bit nervous that dawn and amanda are the type to read fics because they've already been jokingly shipping themselves with each other #in the we WILL pander to the audience and play this up type of way #so... i do have a few reservations there but i might just say fuck it and write and hope for the best #i mean they want to read interesting and juicy things anyway so i should be good with my 500000 fics of fluff and crushes and mutual pining #not very riveting if you don't like the ships i don't think but it pleases me so that's what we do :) #idk this is all to say that we'll have to see how s16 goes but as of now i'm excited to see what ships people like #junosjukebox #ask games!

hey juno! of course, here you go [x] and i have indeed been watching belgique!! gabanna is definitely my favourite, she's so funny and has great looks! as much as i love dr belgique i know it's not that popular within the wider fandom lol, so i'd lovee to see her on a bigger franchise one day, she defintely has AS potential imo!! but i also really like alvida too! what about you??? as for runways, my favourite was definitely 'art nouveau' - soo many good looks!! if there's one thing belgique does right its art themed runways!!
