I've been thinking about Vee and Hunter again and got curious - what is your hc for what will happen if she starts sucking the magic out of Hunter?

there are two possible answers that came to me, both of which i find equally funny.

one is that she just slurps him like a capri sun. delicious

the other is that hunter channels ambient surrounding magic thru his galdorstone. so he's like an all-you-can-eat buffet of constantly-replenishing power. except potentially with the side effect of sucking up the world around him like a capri sun.

i'm sure other people who are more involved in toh's worldbuilding have put a lot more thought into this than i have. it's interesting for sure!

#i have to say this somewhere or im gonna go crazy #so at a preschool. you HAVE to have one adult sitting at every table when kids are eating. and you also need a person in the hall #for kids getting their lunchboxes and going to the bathroom and shit ok. are you with me here. this makes sense #so today. my 2 coworkers had already taken the chairs bc i got caught up in the hall but i was so fucking hungry that i just ate standing u #which was fine. like i could just put my lunch down if someone needed my help and i Did that ok it was fine. no one was left alone #but later at SNACKTIME. it took me forever to get these 2 kids in the room and seated ready to eat & by the time i got in some kids were #already finished and ready to go to the playroom. so i was like ok i guess I'm not eating for the latter half of the day because they cant #be left alone. and my 2 coworkers at this point were sitting with the snackers and they looked fine so i looked after the Players #intermittently glancing to the snack tables to make sure everyone was fine mind you #So what happened here was. #There was a 20 second interval between the time i glanced up to see 2 adults at the snack table. And the time i glanced up to see #a completely unsupervised snack table. one kid STANDING UP ON THE TABLE blowing raspberries and pointing at the other kids #could not have been more than 20 or 30 seconds that i wasn't looking and NO ONE TOLD ME they were leaving the room #if i had been WARNED that they were leaving i would have prioritized the snackers and sat with them so no one choked and no one fucking #stood on the table #but they both just left for whatever reason without saying anything #and when i brought it up after school they were just like. well marty you were eating too much during lunch #next time you should eat before coming in to work so you can give the kids your full attention #??????? i already skipped a meal today for that exact reason?? how is it my fault that i don't want to starve? #am i actually in the wrong here because it's driving me FUCKING nuts. that was NOT a safe situation and it obviously can NOT happen again #but the issue was a lapse in communication not me wanting to eat food so i don't actually die #and those were two different times of day so they're not even relevant #obviously there are bigger issues in the world than this but i feel like throwing up over it. this was not my fault #I'm sorry that you guys can survive off of like 1 spoonful of granola and a single acai berry for the entire day but im not built like that

Oh yeah also to be exact for stream purposes, average playtime from all 60 reviews is 10-12 hours, but total range is 8-15, double for a 100% playthrough. You do have to progress in the side content to progress in the main story (complete x missions/get x points/get to x rank type of deal), and you'll probably want to progress in the side content to level up since it's money-based and that's the fastest way to make money. I'm pretty sure the variance comes from getting sucked into the side content (probably not likely for your playstyle) or having trouble with the bosses at a lower level (they're apparently pretty hard this time).

It also looks like the Infinite Wealth demo is split into two (an adventure mode with the extra cutscenes and another one that's basically the demo we've seen around). Adventure mode Allegedly doesn't have proper saves at the time of writing (this was an annoyance for one reviewer so I assume it's long enough to warrant that), so it's worth taking that into account too. Anyway that's about it lol don't quote me on any of this because my brain just shut off after a certain point <3

going from 4:30PM -> 3:45AM's like.....10~11 hours... so that's about halfway through the game if i get entranced by side content... if we do somehow finish it all in one shot then we can just do the IW stuff after my routine.. epic.. it prob wont be any longer than an hour if that so stream- AUSPICIOUSLY THINKING- should wrap up around 7~9AM saturday.

#like ok I can buy a lot of stuff; but they are never on impulse #I typically wait three days before buying something small and inexpensive after seeing it for the first time #that number increases with the amount of money I have to spend #because I MUST determine if I will like and use it before I even think about buying it #to the point where I was actually mulling over which cheap bamboo flute to get at a garage sale one time (there were two; I couldn’t choose) #and my dad was like ‘just get both; they’re only 25 cents a piece’ and I went ‘Oh? I’m allowed to do that… I forgot’ #same with snacks and sweets #I cannot eat a large cookie twice in a day unless the second large cookie is a different flavor than the first #But I can eat as many small cookies as I want in a day; so long as they are in multiples of three #I can only eat one of each thing a day because it’s weird to eat the same ingredient for two meals in a day; unless it’s cooked differently #like scrambled eggs vs egg drop soup; but if I ate pancakes in the morning I won’t eat pancakes for dinner #unless they are leftovers from eating out #I can only comment once per meeting; otherwise it feels ick #anyway I bought a lot of sensory stuff in the past year lol #and I thought about each one before I bought it #I waited four whole months to buy chewelry when I knew I wanted some #but somehow that fail safe gets overridden if it’s a small business and they have something I’ve been looking for #because why wouldn’t I buy from a small business? we love our artisans in this household #especially if the business is owned by a minority group or nonprofit for a good cause

#i don't mean to vent when i just got back on here but like #so i haven't had a midnight snack in months--just didn't feel the need-- #but the night before last & last night i got a sleeve of saltines each--these were short sleeves of like 10-15 #i got the box for my dad when he was sick because he asked me & it had been sitting there for maybe 3 months since & no one wanted them #but then tonight we had soup & my parents asked about the saltines & basically found out #& my dad kinda chewed me out--not about eating the last of them because there was another box they used-- #but that that was way too much to eat & i eat too much & will get diabetes #which i feel just isn't true ? #without divulging too much i eat two meals a day (i don't like breakfast)--like a sandwich at lunch & then whatever me and/or my mom-- #makes at dinner #maybe a snack in between but not often #& then some (like a serving size) of ice cream for dessert #like a get a lot of cravings but it's not often i act on it because food is expensive #anyways i felt so bad about what my dad was saying i started crying & he said i was being overdramatic. but i didn't finish my dinner #& now i don't even want to eat around him #i should probably just ignore him--i love him but he's one of those dads that gets so involved at work that he just wants to watch tv when-- #he's off. & he thinks i'm basically the same person i was when i was eight years old--like i love mac n cheese & my favorite color is orange #but honestly i did suffer some disordered eating/body image issues in hs & i'm sure my relationship with food isn't completely healed #but it still hurts to see people think things about me that aren't that accurate #tw vent #tw disordered eating #rose.txt #To be deleted

so normally I eat lunch at 11:30. we had plans to eat at my grandparents' house at 1.

I've been so fucking hungry for an hour and a half. I felt like I couldn't eat anything before we left because lunch was at 1 and I shouldn't eat a snack before lunch.

So we got to my grandparents' and guess fucking what!!! They pushed it back and didn't say shit.

So now I still feel like I can't eat anything, I'm so hungry I'm nauseous, and I have to wait another 45 minutes to eat.
