O Life With Lust está me matando...

Supporters of #NoHostageLeftBehind Open Letter to Joe Biden - Part 1/2
The letter consists of lies, no mention of Palestinian genocides, and a call for ceasefire.
Read the full letter:
Dear President Biden,
We are heartened by Friday's release of the two American hostages, Judith Ranaan and her daughter Natalie Ranaan [Raanan] and by today's release of two Israelis, Nurit Cooper and Yocheved Lifshitz, whose husbands remain in captivity.
But our relief is tempered by our overwhelming concern that 220 innocent people, including 30 children, remain captive by terrorists, threatened with torture and death. They were taken by Hamas in the savage massacre of October 7, where over 1,400 Israelis were slaughtered—women raped, families burned alive, and infants beheaded.
Thank you for your unshakable moral conviction, leadership, and support for the Jewish people, who have been terrorized by Hamas since the group's founding over 35 years ago, and for the Palestinians, who have also been terrorized, oppressed, and victimized by Hamas for the last 17 years that the group has been governing Gaza.
We all want the same thing: Freedom for Israelis and Palestinians to live side by side in peace. Freedom from the brutal violence spread by Hamas. And most urgently, in this moment, freedom for the hostages.
We urge everyone to not rest until all hostages are released. No hostage can be left behind. Whether American, Argentinian, Australian, Azerbaijani, Brazilian, British, Canadian, Chilean, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Eritrean, Filipino, French, German, Indian, Israeli, Italian, Kazakh, Mexican, Panamanian, Paraguayan, Peruvian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, South African, Spanish, Sri Lankan, Thai, Ukrainian, Uzbekistani or otherwise, we need to bring them home.

My Theory Applied in the Classroom
Hi Levlies, it is Vygostsky again!
Now that I have gone through my most important theories, I want to teach you some techniques that can be used in the classroom.
I have coined a term called scaffolding. Scaffolding is based on the zones of proximal development, which I have previously discussed. This concept is when teachers provide support called scaffolds, which helps the student master the concept they are learning. As the student begins to master the concept, the teacher begins to pull back on the scaffolding until the support is unnecessary (Kail & Barnfield, 2022). Some scaffolds that will help you build on information include: videos, activities, visual aids, graphic organizers, or breaking down directions into smaller tasks. The scaffolding techniques a teacher uses will differ based on the prior knowledge and needs of a child.
Tumblr media
Now, I would like to provide two suggestions of how to implement my theories into the classroom.
I suggest that teachers arrange desk groups with students that have different strengths. This allows the student in the class that is more advanced to share their knowledge with students that may need more help. This technique allows students to use collaboration as a source of learning.
I suggest that teachers implement a flipped classroom approach. Traditionally, a teacher will provide the lesson in class, and then you have time to do your coursework after. This is not something that complements my theories. Thus, flipped classrooms were created based on my theory, to create a different learning technique. Flipped  classroom is when a teacher will upload their lesson onto the internet for students to watch (Erbil, 2020). Then, during class time students are given a chance to ask questions and collaborate with their peers (Erbil, 2020). This aligns with my belief that the use of social interactions and cooperative learning is vital to the success of an individual gaining more knowledge.
Before I sign out for today, I would like to acknowledge the impact of individual goals and assistance. Children can flourish with the assistance of others and it is very powerful for their mental development. This is evident when you compare children's development when they work alone versus with assistance.
Tumblr media
Thank you for reading… Vygotsky out!

Wait is Kail doing a DNA test or are people confusing her ancestry DNA test (which is HER DNA figuring out her family origins)?
I'm not sure if she has or not, but there is a law in the state of Delaware that if a baby born within so many days of divorce, the former husband is legally considered the father. I believe Javi and Chris could just sign parentage documents to establish that Chris is the father, but if one or both refuses to cooperate, Kail could call for a hearing and DNA test.(I don't live in Delaware so I'm not entirely sure on the exact laws, but this is what I've read in several places!)

DNR to answer questions about CWD in Mecosta County at Feb. 22 town hall meeting in Morley

DNR to answer questions about CWD in Mecosta County at Feb. 22 town hall meeting in Morley
The Michigan departments of Natural Resources (DNR) and Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) recently announced the finding of chronic wasting disease (CWD) in a Mecosta County deer farm facility.
There are two upcoming opportunities for interested landowners, hunters and deer farmers to get the latest information and ask questions about this finding:
For deer farmers – Wednesday, Feb. 1 MDARD will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. at the Big Rapids Holiday Inn, 1005 Perry Ave., Big Rapids.
For hunters and area landowners – Wednesday, Feb. 22 The DNR will host a town hall meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Morley Stanwood High School Cafetorium, 4700 Northland Drive, Morley.
At the Feb. 22 meeting, local DNR wildlife biologist Pete Kailing, DNR deer management specialist Chad Stewart and DNR wildlife veterinarian Kelly Straka will present information on CWD, its effects on deer and deer populations, and the DNR’s CWD response to date. Following presentations, the panel will welcome questions.
“I have been getting many calls from hunters from the area, who want to understand our next steps,” said Stewart. “We scheduled our meeting a few weeks out in order to be able to share the most complete information available. When battling a disease like CWD, it is critical that local hunters and landowners are on board to help with the fight. We are thankful for the great cooperation we have received so far.”
CWD affects members of the deer family, including elk and moose. It is caused by the transmission of infectious, self-multiplying proteins (prions) contained in saliva and other body fluids of infected animals.
To date, there is no evidence the disease presents any risk to non-cervids including humans, either through contact with an infected animal or from handling venison. As a precaution, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization recommend infected animals not be consumed as food by either humans or domestic animals.
To learn more about CWD, visit www.michigan.gov/cwd.
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is committed to the conservation, protection, management, use and enjoyment of the state’s natural and cultural resources for current and future generations. For more information, go to www.michigan.gov/dnr.
