Lil sketches of soft KazuScara in Steven Universe AU *sobbing* 🤧💕💕

Zuzu doesn’t change much from the original, he’s a Star Ruby (which is very pretty and rare, and light reflects on it in a star-like shape) and I really like the fact that his hair kind of match the shape of a star, his skin is red so his white hair resemble the star light pretty nicely, in short HE’S ADORABLE 😭, and his hair being star shaped also mean he’d look good in the Crystals Gems, HE WOULD FIT SO WELL IN THE CRYSTAL GEMS *sobbing loudly*

Kuni is an aquamarine because the moment i saw the aquamarine in the cartoon I immediately thought of him💀 they’re identical, facial expressions, attitude, haircut,, they’re mini as well, meaning they’re short but an aquamarine is especially little. I don’t really like aquamarine in the series (except for her design that i find cute) because she’s mean but Kunikuzushi Aquamarine is different! I mean yes he can be a meanie when he wants and doesn’t like other beings anymore and doesn’t trust them ecc ecc but he has a heart too, he certainly has it for Zuzu.

I don’t know their lore in the Steven Universe Au atm but i’ll think of something, I love Steven universe and the gems so i had to do this. ALSO!!! Do you know the song “No matter what” from the moovie?? Ok now think of that song but it’s Star Ruby (Kazuha) and Aquamarine (Kuni) who sing it!! IMMA CRY

red lotus: sympathy & selfless care are their main values in life. despite this, they don’t open up their heart fully with just anyone. whoever can tread the waters and reach them is a special person indeed.

cyno ⚖️

blue lotus: a rare find. you don’t find them just anywhere. they push their values more than their emotions, having faith in their abilities. their wisdom may be beyond our understanding. truly a special gem.

purple lotus: dedicated to self discovery. they is no definite way to describe them because they don’t even know how to describe themselves. once they become in tune with who they are, they’ll get back to you.

pansy: coming from the French word “penser” (to think), they certainly have a lot on their mind. when do the cogs in their head stop turning? their creativity has no bounds and their memory is quite sharp.

marigold: used to represent grief, specifically surrounding death. but how come they have a such a positive appearance. how do they look so content when being consumed with grimly topics. what a mystery.

kazuha 🍁

peony: send them to someone and they’ll surely feel better. all about healing - physically and mentally - with no judgement attached. it’s okay, you can open up yourselves to them.

heizou 🦌

geranium: a little jokester, the flirtatious goofball. that thrive off getting a reaction out of others - whether it’s positive or negative. shameless is slightly overboard.

scaramouche/wanderer 🩹

anemone: once carried hope within them but eventually lost their path. they are fragile but refuse to admit. but once they are passionate, the drive can take them miles.

xiao 🍃

hyacinth: very selfless but takes things a little too personally. they have a tough-looking exterior but internally, they are deep in self guilt. they have more love for others than themselves.

hibiscus: a delicate one. the summer beauty you can’t get your eyes off of as they drip with allure. will you join them in song and dance?
