Compared to the Manga, there are a few differences that are easy to spot, such as the outstretched arm being changed from the left hand to the right hand and the scene where her transparent dress is exposed by her hair to reveal her lower body is not clear. What's the face of being petrified but it's still great. I like the way the anime studio clearly shows Kirisame's face of panic and hatred with tears in her eyes after being turned to stone and when her stone statue sank into the sea.

I still hope there will be some change that will make Kirisame forever petrified and then stripped of her clothes and displayed for everyone in the village to see.

Update according to what I just saw: the plot of the anime has changed, Kirisame has been left at the bottom of the sea forever. It's a bit of a shame that her stone statue wasn't stripped naked and displayed to everyone. But I'm also happy that she wasn't revived but remained forever at the bottom of the sea. Sooner or later her clothes and equipment will wear out, hundreds of years later divers were surprised to see a statue of a naked girl at the bottom of the sea.

Dr. Stone Headcanons: Reactions to a Cat (Post-Petrification Characters) Edition!

MANGA SPOILERS, DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE MANGA!!!

[I don't know if they've ever seen a house cat before, how did they find a housecat? I'm giving no context. ]

Chrome: "Woah, it's like a tiger but...small and friendly!" *he tries to pet it, but he's kind of cautious*

Suika: "Woah, it's so soft and cute!" *the cat is already sitting on her lap ready to be pet*

Kohaku: "Wait, don't touch it, it still may be a predator-" *she's already in a fighting stance but the cat rubs its face against her leg and she lets her guard down*

Ruri: "It's quite cute, should we give it a name?" *kneeling down to pet the cat*

Kaseki: "Are you here to watch me work?" *the cat just watches as he is working on building one of Senku and Chrome's designs and he doesn't mind it at all*

Kinro: "Hm, it likes me." *he picks up the cat and the cat tries to bit his finger* "Okay, it doesn't like to be picked up-"

Ginro: "It's attacking me!" *the cat is scratching him everywhere*

Magma: "You're telling me this little thing is related to lions and tigers somehow? It's so little and unthreatening... ow!" *He goes in to pet the cat and it scratches the hell out of him*

Soyuz: "It's kind of cute."

Amaryllis: "Aw, what an adorable little creature!" *gets bitten by the cat* "You weren't even that cute anyways..."

Kirisame: "Interesting."

Moz: "Eh, I don't get why people think something like this is cute..?"

Matsukaze: "This creature had harmed my master, I must be cautious to it's abilities."

Fun fact! Kirisame's outfit is based off of the Ephesian Artemis, a localized interpretation of the original Greek goddess.

Artemis and Perseus (the one who beheaded Medusa) were also siblings, thanks to Zeus' promiscuity.

And a bonus fact:

"The common assumption that they are female breasts is incorrect. They probably represent the testicles of a bull, although they may also be gourds, which were known in Asia as fertility symbols for centuries." (source)
