⚒️ Kojirou is named after a samurai and his name starts with "Ko-" like his son's.Theres this generational naming thing between father and son

🎎 Okame is named after the wife of fire/swordsmith god Hyottoko(whos face is the masks swordsmiths wore in the village). Her face looks like the Okame mask , cherub face

🐯 Kotetsu inherited his mother's face and also the curse of looking similar to their masks . In Demon slayer artstyle Okame looks emotionless and always smiling like a doll

🐯 Kotetsu's fave past time is cooking with his mother

🎎 Okame is very good at gentle parenting . Because of that Kotetsu is able to confidently and eloquently speak his mind, and is very open to communicate with others. She's willing to listen what her son has to say and understand how he feels. Which Kotetsu also picked up on.

🎎 I like to see Kojirou and Okame's couple dynamic as country hilly billy and prim gentle lady.

🐯 Kotetsu inherited his father's sensibility and his mother's wisdom. With his father's great humor and mother's wit combined Kotetsu is quite the wisecrack.

🎎Also, I HC that women in the village wear masks too but its a different kind of mask. The mask I mentioned Okame is named after. It makes sense for women to wear the mask that represents Hyottoko's wife.

🎎 Some of their women also help out in smithing , something similar to the Iron town women in Princess Mononoke.

Chapter V : Assembly of Predilection

I firmly believe that pastel is the best colour ever. However, I don't declared that pastel colour is my favourite colour. I like black and navy the most. Besides, I often use pastels colour for tumblr feeds and carrd layouts :D

On my casual time, I often makes bracelets. I'm in good company with yarn and beads. I like when the colour combos matched so well. (I'm practicing how to good at crochet sometimes) It's difficult ૮₍ "T ᴖ T ₎ა

KO HELP WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT but also if I could be down bad for a sec there's something about Baizhu changing eye colours that hurts my heart in such a good way. I think it's 'cause eyes are meant to be the most distinct and constant aspects of a character, knowing and seeing that his eyes are different is a symbol of irreversible change, for better or for worse. Like- every time I think about it my stomach just drops a lil, I can't exactly place why.

OH NO 🫂🫂 It's super stormy where you are and it's SUPER cold where I am, we're all just taking Ls here 😭😭 I remember some of the strong storms, sometimes the lightning will be so bright the outside would noticeably light up. Like- not just a flash, but a solid half second to see the green on plants and things YIKES. And the THUNDER IS UNBELIEVABLE RIGHT I swear the delayed ones are the loudest, full on deafen me sometimes 😭😭
