I took inspiration from one particular pose by artist Clay Mann on the Batman/Catwoman comic. It has amazing art, since Clay Mann is really talented. But it’s a terrible, terrible written story. It’s so bad it’s embarrasing for Mr. King’s career as a comicbook writer lmao.

Pairing: Trafalgar Law X Nami

Nami was looking at the log pose as she scribbled down things in a notepad next to the table where her drink was in the shade. Suddenly she turned her head and glared as she felt a presence behind her, “That’s 50,000 for sneaking up on me like that and 500,000 for trying to sneak a glance at my notes.” She said to the tall man with the spotted hat.

“I don’t need to look at your notes. I have my own navigator.” Law spoke as she closed up her notebook and turned around to face him.

“Hmph, says the one who relied on my information the most during our alliance.” Nami said with her arms crossed, “Remember you’re the one who told Luffy we’re enemies now. So why are you here?”

Law sat down on the end of the longue chair making Nami scoot closer towards the back of the chair, “I don’t have many women on my ship save for Ikkaku, she would enjoy some female company…and you helped Bepo when he was injured.” He looked up at Nami, “We could use someone who knows their way around money…and…” a finger pulled at the orange strap of the outfit she was wearing, “…yellow is a nice color on you.”

Nami’s own hand went towards his own, fingers interlocking with his, “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you were trying to convince me to commit mutiny.”

“You don’t have to think of it that way if you’d come with me.”

Brown eyes stared up at him, “You and I both know that’s not possible. You’d have to get through Luffy and the Strawhats, and you’ll be in debt so high it’ll make your bounty look cheap.”

She noticed the corners of his mouth turn up at her words.

 “Then I’ll have to make the risk worth it.” He said quietly enough for her to hear as he leaned down towards her and pressed his lips against hers. Nami felt a shiver go through her but was uncertain if it was from the sea air or the sensation of something warm and wet meeting her mouth.

“I’ll find you again.” Law said to her quietly when they parted. Whether it was to her or himself was anyone’s guess.

“You better go before your crew wonders where you are.” Nami said fingers lingering on his dark blue coat. She then moved her fingers back and watched as Law used his ability to disappear from her sight and off The Thousand Sunny.

[Soulmates: First kiss]

Both have a mark and need to make contact from time to time to avoid falling into madness until death. Their first encounters were just gentle touch of hands, but then Law (provoked by Nami) kisses his hand.

Nami provoked him with her screams and cries. She complained that she was going to die because of her for not seeing her and Law couldn't stand it. Then as a promise she kissed her hand, causing them both to blush. Law didn't think anything at first, a kiss on the hand was nothing to him but later the blush in his ears gave him away.
