"Asch? Hold on..."

This hadn't exactly been what she'd expected when she'd set out. Tear's intention had been simple enough. After their encounter with Legretta back in the Meggiora Highlands, seeing that ore she had left behind had sparked something within Tear. She'd needed to find her way to Ortion Cavern to see if she could find Van. It was on the way to find a means of getting there that she'd stumbled upon Asch in his present state. She couldn't claim to be a friend of his, as he had tried to get Luke to turn his blade on her once, but the young Oracle Knight wasn't so quick to forget good things Asch had done relevant to her. Not the least of which was helping her when she'd almost been whisked away from Akzeriuth.

After only a moment's hesitation, she hurried to Asch's side. She couldn't just leave him there while he was bleeding from what was clearly a nasty monster bite. Perhaps the fourth of Yulia's fonic hymns was a bit overkill, given it was only Asch who was injured, but as she knelt beside him the words and melody came unbidden from within her. One healing arte might not be enough, Tear realized, so she started to search through her little bag of supplies she had taken along with her.

"That should have stopped the bleeding, at least. But I have a first aid kit and gels if it still hurts." She could only imagine what Asch must have been thinking. Before he had a chance to speak, though, she decided to venture forth with her own questions.

"What happened? And why...?" Why was he there? Was he looking for Van, too?

D - Director - How much do they feel the need to have control over their life? Do they spend a lot of time telling others what to do or and they more likely to be more obedient to others?

Sync has control issues. He has very little control in his life, Van has that control and Sync knows it and it frustrates him to no end, but he accepts it. What he does get control over, he is very protective over, which is why when he’s in charge of something he does not tolerate being challenged. He only listens to those he deem worthy of bossing him around- but for Van and Legretta he is obedient. 

G - Growing - How have they changed over time? How has their self-image changed? Are they more or less of a risk-taker? Has their approach to romance changed?

Sync measures growth in skill, how strong he is, and how quick and powerful his artes are. Sync measures himself in how useful he is to Van. And he measures himself against others, mostly Asch and Ion. Sync’s self image is built off his own success, his achievements as a god-general and as a soldier. Though he really hasn’t had the chance to grow. He’s still a child, and he’s lived barely even three years by the end of it. 

S - Seeker - How do they go in search of new information? Do they accept ideas on faith or do they need to test out information for themselves?

Information and study are things Sync enjoys. He’s a bit of a nerd in that regard. Honestly, he enjoys learning new things, gathering info, challenging things he already knew and expanding his knowledge testing out new things if they are useful to him. It has to be useful. Like fonic theories or strategies, testing and studying them make him feel content.  Sync takes pride in his intelligence even if at times he curses it.

V - Visionary - Do they have a plan for their future? How imaginative or creative are they? Do they have vivid dreams?

Warning. This will be dark- Death. Sync has wanted death for almost the entirety of his life. I’ve translated a bit of shiro no ashita. And it goes into Sync’s past, and it's dark. What filled him when he left Mount Zaleho after being thrown away and saved by Van, was regret. He regretted escaping his death.  Everything he does leads him to his goal of destruction. Of the world and himself. And if he can’t destroy the world, he at least wants to die with a purpose, he doesn’t want to die like a dog. Not like his original, not like the replicas older than him, and not like the seventh.
