It was full of just cheesy romance that makes your heart warm. I loved this. I felt like their relationship was so natural and I love how Benji has so many names to Victor’s different facial expressions and I’m so soft. It’s a perfect look into their normal daily interactions (Benji complaining about his mom and baby pictures? Golden) but with the sweet moments of Victor appreciating their height differences lol. I love seeing both of their POVs too. Just sweet fluff, very cute and well done!!

COMMENT: I love the idea of Mia/Lake and this is great!! It goes through their friendship over the years and Lake slowly realizing her feelings for Mia may be a teensy bit more than friendship. Characters felt super believable and works with canon knowledge about what we know from their backstories. Very sweet (:

Hello it’s me again coming at you live with a short fic that is just a kissing fic haha. It’s an AU where Benji and Victor have been friends for a while and Victor decides he needs practice kissing because something isn’t working when he kisses Mia. This is one of my favorite tropes and I think this fic does a great job of it! Victor’s internal monologue is great and I think they did a good job with both of the characters (:

COMMENT:

Happy canon Benji Campbell’s birthday (11/16)!!!!! Words cannot describe how much I loved this fic. We get such a great backstory through a look at Benji’s birthdays from when he was six to when he’s 18. The way Benji’s familial history influences his relationships really fits in with what little we know of him, and helps really round out his character and give him real motivation. The backstory is so well developed and packs such an emotional punch (I may have cried?) but the ending is so sweet. It is set in the same universe as the author’s other work (Good Things Fall Apart - also extremely good) but is created to be read alone. Anyways, highly highly recommend this one, the writing is phenomenal.

COMMENT: Another one written for Venji Fic Fest: Halloween 2020!! I am obsessed (understatement) with vampires, and y’all when I say this hit me. Benji as a vampire? All I could ever ask for. It was funny, dark, and a little s*xy. The dialogue was hilarious, had a bit of hidden unexpected depth, and the author twisted the lore behind vampires in such a delectable and creative way that my vampire obsessed brain short wired.

The banter we overhear between Victor and Andrew is so so good, exactly what I want from their dynamic. And the other characters (especially Lake) also feel very in character!
