Het evenement begint vrijdag rond 18.30 uur met One Friday Fights 58, waarna het in de nacht van vrijdag op zaterdag rond 02.00 uur tijd is voor One Fight Night 21 mét Regian Eersel. Eersel, bijgenaamd 'The Immortal', is dé grote man in het lichtgewicht. De Surinaams-Nederlandse kickbokser is bezig aan een ongekende reeks met 22 overwinningen op rij (zijn laatste nederlaag was op 18 maart 2016) en moet tegen de Fransman Alexis Nicolas nummer 23 aan die reeks toevoegen om zijn kickbokswereldtitel in het lichtgewicht niet kwijt te raken. Met Eersel en Nicolas staan er twee ogenschijnlijk onverslaanbare mannen tegenover elkaar. Toch delft een van de twee het onderspit in Bangkok. De 25-jarige Nicolas is zes jaar jonger dan Eersel en is vastberaden de koning van zijn troon te stoten. De Fransman is met 23 overwinningen ook ongeslagen, maar vocht pas één keer bij One. Bij zijn debuut tegen Magomed Magomedov maakte hij echter dermate veel indruk dat hij het nu al meteen tegen Eersel, bekend om zijn slungelige ledematen, mag opnemen.
