Peaches had gone to network, Martina knew that, which was why she was comfortable just sort of...Hanging out. It was still so hard to wrap her head around, that this was her life now. Her and her best friend pretty much ditching the normality of suburban life to join the groupie train. It excited her, and terrified her at the same time. Perhaps partly because she didn’t feel ready for it. Parties like the one she was currently within were sex fueled and drug addled and she had next to no experience with either. It was why she was so hesitant to put the hand rolled instrument to her lips. People approached her all the time at parties like this, and whenever she was offered anything, she’d politely turn them down. However, what she had not expected, was that the very person offering her a hit had been a member of the band she had been following for the past few months. She’d never even came close to contact before, I mean hell they had a lot of groupies, she was just one of the fish in the vast pool of girls dying to spend time with them. It was why this time she chose not to shy away from the offer. It was an immediate regret. One drag and the spluttering was effective straight away. Shy laughter bubbled from the back of a throat still trying to capture it’s bearings and blush seeped it’s way onto her cheeks as she delicately handed it back to the other with a sheepish look of defeat. “And that’s supposed to feel good?” Her query was honest, at least, another drop of laughter leaving her as she tried to recompose herself. Lest she blow it in the company of the one stranger she’d been hyperfixated on meeting.

Natale a 5 Stelle (2018) 

*on Netflix, 5 Star Christmas*

As I've said many times, I don't look into any kind of review or research on the cast prior to watching films. Going in blind I think helps me stay as unbiased as possible. I didn't even read the description on Netflix, so, as usual, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this movie is Italian. If you don't like subtitles, you're in for a bad time.

Prime Minister Franco Rispoli (Massimo Ghini) is traveling with his assistant Walter Bianchini (Ricky Memphis) to a political convention in Budapest, Hungary. Also attending is Senator Giulia Rossi (Martina Stella) who is part of the party opposing the Prime Minister's party. However, Giulia and Franco are hoping to turn this 3 day trip into a way for them to consummate a romantic relationship between them. It has to stay private as they are both married, but fortunately they are away from all the prying eyes in Italy. That is, until they go to the window to look out at the Danube river and there is an unresponsive Santa Claus (Riccardo Rossi) stuck in the window. Franco is sure that Santa is dead (he's not), but he doesn't want anyone finding out Giulia is in the room at all, so he calls Walter up to take care of the body. Walter doesn't answer right away as first he has to call back his mother (Roberta Florentini) and then he runs into his mother's former nurse, Berta Molnar (Andrea Osvárt) at the market. Franco and Giulia are getting stressed as they're never quite sure who will be at the door because the Bellhop (Biagio Izzo) and the Hotel Manager (Ralph Palka) are constantly checking up on Franco. The manager wants to make sure he's well taken care of, and the bellhop is nosy.

When Walter finally gets there to take care of the not dead corpse, who should show up but Roberto di Leo (Massimo Ciavarro), Giulia's husband? And a bit later, Marisa Rispoli (Paola Minaccioni) comes in to surprise her husband Franco because it's their wedding anniversary. As more people barge in on things they shouldn't see, the lies get more and more outlandish.

This is a silly comedy with fun bits throughout. The music is also playful. The best thing I think is that it never takes itself too seriously. The Prime Minister is still scheming (like any good politician) at the very end of the movie (with a particularly bad plan, if he were to ask me). I do love the uniqueness of this as a Christmas movie, and the characters feed into the reputation that Italians are very passionate and have big personalities. I wouldn't mind watching it again, but it probably wouldn't be my idea. Overall, I'll give it 3 stars.

Many teenager girls wanted to talk to Rossi, asking him some risqué questions. "Want to see me up close? At the Monza Rally or at the Motor Show". Unveiled many curiosities: "My new baby brother has evicted me out of my bed: now I sleep on the sofa". "I've bought the lucky-charm turtle at the supermarket".

The supporters worried for the post-victory hangover. "I'm fine but I had to celebrate, no?". About the future: "I would have stayed in 125 but Aprilia has insisted. Then the topic switches on underwear.

"No, Pegoraro, I'm calling from Treviso and I'm 13. I've watched you...".

"I'm sorry, like this you're stupendous, especially with the pigtail".

Anyway there's a shocking news coming: super short hair and breathtaking colour. All to be seen, in Barcelona.

It was 10 minutes before the race and nobody was getting prepared: another while and even the start would have been postponed".

"Keep going like this — adds Otello — and you'll have everyone by your side, because you really represent the sportsmen, the ones who go to race on Sundays to have fun. I've been knowing you since you were a child and I know how many things you could do, how far you could arrive because you got your head straight. The important thing is that you don't let anyone mislead you. Woes".

Perhaps the blonde should have felt...Guilty. After all, she'd been overstaying her welcome in Darryl's sweet little town. Though she was sure he didn't mind that. Living out of her van with the luxuries of Darryl's utilities, and the entertainment of fucking him when her and her best friend got bored. She'd pretty much got it made. Plus, the people in this town couldn't get enough of them. Two hot city girls landing on their doorstep sure had caused a stir, and frankly, she'd never felt hotter. It was why Peaches had convinced Marty to accompany her to Darryl's workshop. Giggles pouring from the girls lips as the mechanics he worked with gawked at their microskirts and itty bitty crop tops. Fuelled by more amusement, the blonde proceeded to flash one particular gawker a glimpse of her bra before bursting into a fit of laughter with the brunette as she all but forced her in the direction of his office. "Mornin' daddy..." The bleach blonde purred, immediately propping herself on his lap as Martina closed the door.

Giggles tapered off as she shut the door, turning to beam at the older male as she dropped into the opposite spinning chair, long legs extending as cowboy boots clunked onto his desk. "I'm sorry. I tried to tame her. I really did." A playful little smile fell from her lips as hands smoothed over her pierced naval, lashes fluttering. "I hope you don't mind us droppin' in like this, I think I figured out what's wrong with the van...Wanted to see if you could take a look? Pretty please?" And doe eyes contradicted the faint smirk on her lips, angling her head as she bit down on manicured fingertip.
