I was expecting the first doll I ordered would get here first since I ordered him back in December, but I’ve been told I’ve got another month to go. Ya know, pandemic, things taking longer, all that jazz. It’s no issue. I still have time to maybe get him a guitar or something. Jaskier is going to need some instrument, ya know, and that’s who I’m shelling with that doll.

But then I was expecting the MYOU Chasel I ordered like a week after Maskcatdoll Claire to get here since their wait time seemed to be a month shorter going off what people were saying. That’s why I ordered some clothes for her with that doll. Chasel is also going to be one of her queerplatonic partners, my character, Cassius, who I’ve done some art for as well.

#I already know which doll will be Andrian to finish the trio #but it will just be those two for awhile with my other dolls #since I’m going to order him around October and then wait about 6 months for him #and then the ot3 will be complete #des says stuff

Did a bunch of faceups this week. The tan ones were also my first time dying dolls! I think they turned out pretty good, all things considered.

I feel like i used the thinnest lines i've ever drawn working on these. It was super focused work and i'm really happy with how they look.

As mentioned in my last post my doll collection has expanded a bit. I recently acquired two ball jointed dolls, the Souldoll Fafner in my last post and this adorable doll by Maskcatdoll. The is Maskcatdoll Feline, the first bjd I got, who is a tiny bjd at 1/6 scale. I love that this doll is so small and easy to carry, but has a more mature look than some of the tiny bjds (which I think are very cute, but not what I was looking for).

Thinking about trying a mature tiny again, hmm. She’s so affordable! And she’s a bit bigger than the MDR Pygmy line, so maybe I’ll bond better with her. This is a maskcatdoll feline, by the way. She’s supposedly 26cm, though she looks a good bit smaller than a Momonita which is supposed to be 27 cm.

I can’t sleep, and now I don’t think I’ll be able to go to sleep since I just got the email letting me know my Maskcatdoll Claire has shipped!

I’m so excited. I wasn’t expecting her until, like, next month at the earlier since the wait time said 3-4 months and ya know pandemic, so I was thinking maybe August. It’s a day shy of two months.

Her wig I ordered isn’t even here yet, so depending on how long she takes to get here, she might have to wear the long brown wig I have till her short one comes.

The clothes and shoes I ordered for her (besides the outfit coming with her) aren’t here yet either because I thought the MYOU Chasel I ordered would get here first 😂 I still have things that she’ll like.

But, yeah, I’m so excited. She’s going to be my character, Charlotte, who I’ve painted a few times and shared. I figured come Fall, I was going to start working more on the new version of the plot of the story she’s the main character of.
