Right so in recent days there has been many hints of TLSP3!! So I thought I’d make a post and compile all the ‘evidence’ and explain it all.
Tumblr media
So firstly arctic monkeys announced extra tour dates in Ireland to make up for the cancellation earlier in the year. They have announced Miles Kane as a special guest / supporting act?
Tumblr media
And then MK posted this on his story and then the next day shared the AM tour post (1) onto his story saying “it’s gonna be big ”. (Don’t have the ss for this sorryyyy)
Tumblr media
(Got this off an insta story but I did check it and this is really happening w the website) This picture is of the shadow puppets website. Now the thing with this is that it could just mean that they are no longer paying for the platform or it could and I stress could mean that the website might be being changed for tlsp3. (It’s been confirmed that they are paying for the platform *creds to person in comments who told me) BIG THINGS R COMINBGGGGG
Other evidence is that the gaps between each tlsp reunion 2008-2016 is 8 years and 2016-24(potentially) is 8 years so a lot of people think they will follow in path with the last reunion.
So yeah enjoy this or don’t ! I will post updates on potential tlsp3 :)

look babe it's the Death Ramps poster for their 2014 performance at Krapy Rubsnif
Tumblr media
Is this too niche? You have to be deeply entrenched in two completely different fandoms to get this. Basically, if you don't get it, congrats you are sane

Another Song Analysis!
Little Illusion Machine – Analysis
Disclaimer – as always this is my assumption. I’m not saying it’s fact! But I am working with the assumption that Alex and Miles’ sexual relationship began around the recording of The Age of the Understatement in 2008 and continued on and off from then on.
Little Illusion Machine was a B side to Hellcat Spangled Shalala by Miles Kane and the Death Ramps released in August 2011
Verse 1 (sung by Miles)
Swinging room to room
Planting something new
I’ve ridden the riddle, I’ll do it again
Back to the Wirral where it all began
Wirral ridder
Okay I am assuming this part of the  song is from Miles’ point of view seeing as he is from Birkenhead which is on the Wirral Peninsula in Merseyside. So given that I think this song is about coming to terms with being gay/bi we can assume his first sexual experiences would have been in his hometown. Swinging from room to room, could be referring to going from men to women.
[Chorus: Miles Kane]
Send a letter to me, baby
I'm on the edge of my seat
Send a letter to me, baby
Little illusion machine
I think this is self-explanatory. By this time, Alex was in his SIAS era cute boy next door, perfect boyfriend image. Which given that I am working under the assumption that Alex is bisexual, this is of course an illusion and Miles is desperate to see him.
Verse 2:
(Miles)
Riding through the gloom
Something beautiful
(Alex)
He’s ridden the riddle, he’ll do it again,
He’s going back to the Wirral where it all began
Wirral Riddler
I think this refers to Alex having sex with Miles. Interestingly Alex sings the line ‘he’s ridden the riddle, he’ll do it again’.  Like he is talking about himself and the riddle is Miles.  The line ‘riding through the gloom, something beautiful’ could have many meanings. Just that the experience is beautiful, or for the fact that when they perform it live, Miles points to Alex – it’s kind of obvious!
(Miles)
I tried it and I liked it
But it just never gets close enough
Send a letter to me, baby
I tried it and I liked it, but it never gets close enough, I think is sung from Miles’ point of view and is talking about heterosexual sex, especially when the next line is him asking Alex to contact him.
So, a short and simple one. In a nutshell, Miles prefers gay sex which he first experienced when he was younger.  Alex has been on the Kane Train and likes it and they’re both looking forward to their next hook up.

I'm just saying... Letting Alex rest his voice for one song today could do him some good - even if he's fully magically cured, you know? Just to be on the safe side?
And... We've got just the song for that.
It would be that special Glasto-worthy legendary comeback-moment too, you know? 👀 It's perfect.

Don’t know if I’m just too dumb too find any pics but to me it seems like this
Both Alex and Miles always wore their respective Death ramps ring whenever and wherever but basically from the moment on that Alex lost his ring there is not (or I can’t find any) a single pic of Miles with his ring either instead he’s now always wearing that silver signet ring

Got tagged in a playlist meme by @zlutloki
*sucks teeth* oh boy. I, uh, don't actually know if I....enjoy music? Like I got into bandom a couple of times bc I'm brain damaged lol but if you asked me to explain why I liked the music by the bands I got into like .... I don't know if I could tell you. I don't know if I liked their music bc I liked their music or if I liked their music bc it was the output of dysfunctional people who didn't know how to talk to one another except through song you know? Like I think I own some pretty objectively bad music.
I can't tell you my favourite song; I don't know if I have one.
That being said I (illicitly) collected music for about 15 years like someone who knew the value of baseball cards but who didn't actually know anything about baseball would collect baseball cards lol
I used to obsessively download other people's FSTs even for fandoms and ships I didn't know. I think I accidentally ended up owning everything October Project put out between 2000-2003 like that
1) pipedown by babyshambles
2) little illusion machine by miles Kane ft the death ramps
3) deadwood by dirty pretty things
4) rock n roll star by oasis
5) United States of pop 2009 by dj earworm
6) chasing pavements by adele
7) peach plum pear covered by straylight run
8) you do by margaret whiting
9) cannonball covered by the gregory brothers
10) soldier's poem by muse
Tagging anybody who wants to do this. I'm not outing my problematic mutuals lmao
