Lingo is... alright. She’s had to deal with a lot of shit from the sounds of it, and I can respect that she wants the future to change for the better. Prooobably not gonna carpool with her again anytime soon. And some of the company she keeps is-- well, she can do what she wants. Silas is surprisingly good at acknowledging his mistakes. Despite living in a world of shadows and secrets, he’s particularly straightforward. If someone brings up past mistakes he would openly own up to it. Some more grudgingly than others, of course.

It’s also an easy tactic to prevent others from having leverage to manipulate or blackmail him.
