okay first guy: ness I love ness.

Ness is a trans kid!! he doesn't know the right terminology for any of it but he knows he never felt like a girl. his family all support him ofc, but Tracy got a little sad thinking ness wouldn't play dollhouse with her anymore (he still totally does)

Ness looooves gross stuff. Bugs, mud, bones, etc. Call me autistic the way I study those bugs (<- ness)

oh also he's autistic 👍 very sensitive to loud noises and the cold, and wears almost the same outfit everyday because 1. different outfit everyday is HARD . 2. He likes his outfit!!

his special interest is baseball :)

him and pokey play on the same Onett baseball team and have an unofficial rivalry with the Fourside Fogies . one time they trapped pokey under the bleachers. it was a whole ordeal (hc from soypeople thank you bestie)

ness was their number one player!! until. yk. giygas. after all that he quit going to school and became a shut in for a good while (he'll be okay)

Paula helps teach him the PK moves!! Fire freeze thunder etc etc. In return him and pu teach her how to heal and such (none of them manage to learn starstorm, though ..)

Ness is overall an overly caring kid. he'll often put others before himself, especially in the line of danger. But he can also be very stubborn if he chooses to (if he's angry, he'll most likely give you silent treatment until he simmers down)

Paula is a transgirl!! she knows the terms bc she's a fast learner (with gifted child syndrome)

When she grows up she most likely takes over the Polestar preschool

Funnily enough, her favorite color isn't pink. It's green!

Her parents are a bit overprotective of her .... Ness and her had to practically beg to go fight Giygas

Much like Ness, she cares a lot for her friends. Unable to heal them with her PSI, she resorts to carrying around lots of healing items for her pals! (And wet towels for Jeff, since he overheats easily)

She doesn't mind any temp, but sweat is an unpleasant sensation for her (it's gross, it smells, and ew, it's wet! Jeff shares the same sentiment)

She isn't a damsel in distress, obviously. She probably would've beaten up Montoli and Carpainter all on her own if she didn't have the brain to accompany her (though, an hour longer in the cage at Happy Happy and she probably would've started a fire ..)

When Jeff couldn't stand in class Tony would take his assignments to the teacher when they both finished (albeit a bit later as Tony took more time on his)

Tony signs the end of the Y in name with a small heart when writing Jeff. Jeff was oblivious to it's meaning till he got older

Tony will sometimes break stuff on purpose when Jeff has nothing to tinker. Just little things that they won't miss if Jeff can't fix them (he always fixes them)

Jeff shares what he doesn't eat with Tony (tony has a bit appetite!)

Jeff carries Tony's bag in his lap when in his chair

Neither of them use air fresheners or perfumes. It irritates Jeff's nose and Tony has asthma. Win!

They don't have the same taste in music but like to listen to each other's music when working in their dorm. They take turns putting in tapes

Jeff prefers classical music .. Tony calls him old for it (it's endearing. He's memorized Jeff's favorite artists)

Jeff falls asleep in class a lot .. tony makes sure to write plenty of notes if he does

Non Tony related ones:

Jeff is autistic! And physically disabled. His legs were injured in the novels boat incident, so he uses a cane(or crutches) and a wheelchair depending on how well he feels

He doesn't like being babied or carried around much, but if it's necessary he'll allow someone to lift him (mostly ness or tony)

Distant relationship with his dad obviously. It gets a bit better but they never get as close as they could

Jeff modifies his chair to have rockets on them. Because it's fun!

Even after getting his prosthetics he'll still use the chair whenever he feels tired

As stated in my fic he hates the heat so so much. He'd rather run around in the snow butt naked than spend a minute at the beach

Probably very stressed. It's hard being the newest king and also 14

His hair is shaved on the sides and tied into a long braid. No reason behind it he just likes it that way tbh

Despite his resting-mean-boy face, he's super sweet under that Princely attitude! (He's got a lot on his shoulders, it's hard to relax)

Much like in game he's very . Uh. Physcially weak. Most people don't expect that because of his "fighter" look, so they don't usually mess with him

He's a picky eater bc of sensory issues. What do you MEAN you guys can eat rice? Yuck! (It tastes fine, but the feeling is .. bad. very bad)

Water enthusiast :) often the one to remind Ness (water hater) to drink some water

Funnily enough he doesn't grow once he hits his current height. Sooner or later Paula matches him in height and he finds it p funny

Picky, Tracy, Ness, and Pokey all used to walk to school together. Sometimes pokey had to carry picky since he was half asleep

how i feel about this character -

where to even begin??? he means so much to me, like i love him so much and also admire him greatly but also can see when he's doing Not The Healthiest and oughhhh i think i understand what he's doing and why he does things & i sort of find him relatable in kinda of... not major ways?? like i've said this before but he's like a massive dork trying to be cool which is definitely something i can relate to, & the whole standing-outside-the-bookshop-waiting-for-aziraphale in the final fifteen, that is something i would do. - & HIS GENDERRRR and i love his funny little things, his collection of Soul Music in the book, the bullet-hole stickers in the bentley window, how he finds Thee Most Ridiculous outfits to wear and pulls it off flawlessly no one questions a thing, asks Aziraphale to come look at a graveyard in the middle of the night with him, let Zira have his deserts, follows him around the neighbourhood on errands, goes to the movies by himself when he's sulking, drives through a wall of hellfire even though half an hour earlier he was going to presumably teleport to alpha centauri, and all his little moments in the book that just make me love him so so so so much and oh dear that's a long sentence isn't it. lots of love for the man(or otherwise)-shaped being. yeah. hehe

i think the 'oh he has snake eyes he can't see that stars' hc is very dumb and bad. ofc he can see the stars what are you talking about just cos david can't see through contacts & dark glasses IN THE BOOK IT SPECIFICALLy says that demon can see really well in the dark. i think people just like the angst of that one but honestly i think it doesn't add anything to the story & the guys been through enough you don't need to keep piling on additional angst & trauma yknow

as mentioned before can literally only be Aziraphale, there is no chance of this guy ever having feelings for anyone else hehe

crossover ship (making this platonically)-

i think he'd have great fun with Donna Noble from doctor who. not just because david tennant character but THINK ABOUT IT. Donna is snarky in a loving way and won't take any shit but will always have a laugh and has so much love to give and is so funny & they're both a liiitle bit bitchy in an endearing way & Crowley would LOVE that, they'd be great together oughhhhhhh i just thought of this while i was reading the question this has never occured to me before but Donna & Crowley would be so much fun together heheeeee

headcanon fact -

my headcanon for Crowley is that he smoked for a really long time, long thin cigarettes, for the Aesthetics and general Cool Person Vibes, but also because it's yknow a vice & is bad for you but people like it & do it anyways. (and not ad for him cos a. demon and b. can;t get sick) he'd sit there in a seductive cloud of smoke as Aziraphale pointedly coughed and complained about the smell of smoke getting into the books. he only gave it up when you stopped being able to smoke in restaurants.

also (it's technically canon and i wrote a little fic about this but anyways) i think Crowley does like reading & does read books but he really likes the kind of books Aziraphale thinks are Beneath Him, like fantasy & sci fi & spy novels, same as he likes sitcoms.

God, the "dysfunctional twins who used to be so close and then fell out but it's like losing a limb and they notice the loss every day" angle on Lucifer and Belial is so compelling

Rip Sandalphon, but I desperately need his boyfriend and his brother in law to hang out

and it's mostly HC but the idea of like.

Belial genuinely believing Lucifer is the root of all of his problems. He can't help but loving him still. Knowing also that Belial loves and hates "love", this adds to how it's just, love isn't a positive thing here. He hates that he cares. He doesn't want to. He blames Lucifer for everything. All the bad things. all the good things. He deliberately wants to get rid of him hoping it'll mean he will get better. He only gets worse. He feels hollow. He severed this limb himself. Does he regret? If you ask him, he would say no. But he hates this hollowness inside of him. He doesn't want Lucifer back. he thinks about Lucifer everyday. Maybe part of him is aware that if he had came back, if he had stayed with Lucifer for one day, then this affection he's beaten down and locked away would come back as strongly as ever, and he can't let it happen. Instead he left it locked somewhere inside, and now that Lucifer is dead, its bleeding. Belial just has to ignore it. How hard it is? he lived with the grief of losing Lucilius and obviously Lucilius was more important, so he can live with losing Lucifer. He can't. And he can't rationalize it because he spent so long convincing himself it's the only way for him to be happy. Happiness must just really taste like Misery.

And for Lucifer, it's the longing, it's the open wound he cannot ignore. Belial goes through loop to justify it's not here, but for Lucifer it's being aware of this wound and desperately wanting to heal it, both for himself and for Belial, only to see Belial rejecting him over and over again. Lucifer is bleeding out, but so is Belial, and Lucifer centers it in his mind. It's his fault after all isn't it? Can't he do anything to fix it? Well now he's dead. Belial tried to cut this bond one last time. And this is just even more misery. He wants to reach out, but he's dead now. There's nothing he can do to fix it. He'd desperately want to fix it. But even if he was alive, he knows Belial would still push him away.And so they're both bleeding out.

It's just SUCH a compelling drama for me. The idea that love isn't enough to fill the gap that push them apart, but hatred is even worse. They wish to no longer be in pain, but they make each other suffer just by being around each other. And also when they're apart. They're no version of the story where they don't hurt each other. And no version where they fully hate each other for that.

like ofc it's a lot of HCs on projecting on some vague stuff we got here and there but i genuinely believe this reading is right there and it makes my heart ache every single time and it's so compelling to me.

so yeah Sandalphon i'm so sorry, but if you get your boyfriend back, i want him to be able to fix his relationship with his twin. Literally would mean everything to me. I'm so sorry it means you have to deal with the worst in law of all time. But you need to understand. it compels me sO MUCH.

aaaaaaaa, LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT VEGETAAAAA. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. I'mma just. *shadow boxes* Let me tell you about my absolute fav since I was approximately 10 years old. (this is a lie, I watched BTAS before Dragon Ball Z ran in Denmark, but you get my point)

Vegeta, prince of all Saiyans, alright, he's... he's just...

^Same, Vegeta.

He is so dark and gritty and he is a damn fucking murderer, alright? But he's dark and gritty while also being so light and loud? Like his whole fucking deal is rage and pride and being a Saiyan.

When we first meet him, he's so.. Gah, he's so smol and yet so fucking powerful that even Goku is like 'shhhhiiiiiit' which is an amazing reaction, because of course Goku's 'shit' is more like OH HECK YES, A STRONG OPPONENT, WOOOO :D

I instantly fell in love with him because he's a classic Bad Guy(TM), and those are my favorites for some weird reason. And the journey he goes through, bestie, the journey. His entire character development???? *bites fist*

The way he - despite getting a family, being a part of the whole team-dynamic thing (reluctantly ofc) and just generally settling more down in his role as an earthling-adjacent - is still a complete asshole. He doesn't change his entire personality just because he's now a "good guy". He's still Vegeta, he's still a small ball of fury who WILL fuck you up. He's so strong and he never gives up and he's just... He's so full of pride and trauma, oh God, don't get me started on the trauma.

I am of the firm belief that this Prince of Fury has always been an asshole, alright? Like a lovable asshole, full of pride in who he is and where he's from. But boy, oh boy, when I tell you I HC Frieza as having fucked this kid up. He's been beaten down again and again all his life by the monster who killed his entire race? He's fought his ENTIRE LIFE to be stronger so that he can avenge them, so that he can be free!

AND THEN SOME NOBODY FROM BUTTFUCK NOWHERE IS THE ONE WHO'S GONNA BEAT FRIEZA? NOT VEGETA? AAAAAA THE ABSOLUTE RAAAAAAGEEEEEEE.

He just wants to be free, he wants to live for himself but in all those years he forgot how to do that? Because all he had to hold onto was the fact that HE would have to kill Frieza and he never got farther than that in his dreams and and and

GOD I AM WEAK, I AM SOBBING ON MY FUCKING KNEES, I cannot explain to you how I was screaming into my pillow at 12 years old, when I read through Dragon Ball (that a boy from my class let me borrow because we lived on the same street and he saw I was a nerd early on lol) and I got to volume 38. Yes I still remember the volume, because BESTIE. BESTIIIIIE. My boy SACRIFICES HIMSELF, even though he's under fucking brainwashing.

Do you understand????? Vegeta, prince of my fucking heart, has so much pride (and love and strength) in his tiny body that he could overthrow the hold Babidi has on him and HE FUCKING BLOWS HIMSELF UP AFTER HUGGING HIS LIL BOY AND I AM D E A D

Vegeta is my comfort character because he never gives up, even when he knows he doesn't stand a chance. Vegeta is my comfort character because he doesn't change who he is, even though people tell / pressure him to do so. He stays true to who he is while also growing as a person and he is fucking strong. He's such a complex character but he can also just be a straight up bad-turned-good guy and I love that.

And this is all without me mentioning the FUCKING PERFECT DYNAMIC he's got with Goku. The whole Superbat mirror thing? Wait, I'll find it, @dulcineawrites said it much more eloquently than I could ever :')
