Equius x reader x Nepeta (poly headcannons) (4/13/24)

🪼- hi hi !! first writing post yayyy!

You wake up each morning snuggled in between the strong, sweaty arms of Equius and Nepeta's fluffy cardigan sweater sleeves wrapped around your waist. Nepeta usually sleeps in, and Equius is an early riser.

Nepeta loves to plan dates and makes sure everyone is included. She has lists for your favorite places to eat, your favorite spots to hang out, and everything that you even slightly enjoy.

Equius is so gentle and sweet with both you and Nepeta, and makes himself noticeable in a room so he doesn't accidentally scare anybody. He likes to share his hoofbeast catalogs with you, and he loves your admiration for the animals of their world.

You go on hunting trips with Nepeta, and you're suprised by her speed and strength each time. This is usually when you two share your feelings with each other and talk, as Equius is less of a sharing person when it comes to his emotions.

Equius shows his love to you with gift giving, and he makes you tiny machines and music boxes and little robots! If you tell him you want to be big and strong like him, he will be so flattered and make you some kind of training robot! please give him affection and compliments- its all so worth is when you see his broken-teeth smile!

Nepeta shows her love with physical affection, and she's always jumping on you and tackling you into hugs. If you're a big person, she always wants piggy back rides and to be picked up. if you're closer to her size, she'll be the one picking you up! Equius wishes he could join in on more embraces, but he's so strong that one hug could probably squish you- and he wouldn't want to hurt you!

They both love cartoons, and anything with a hoofbeast in it will get Equius' attention. Some of their favorites are Tangled, Beauty and the Beast, and My Little Pony. Nepeta wants to watch My Neighbour Totoro!

At the end of the day, you find yourself in bliss in your three way relationship. You get everything you want out of it: all the snuggles in the world, cute roleplays with Nep, chilling on the robot pile with Equius, fun movie nights, and anything you can think of- Equius will build for you!! They both have such red feelings for you, you must be so happy!

How about the Amporas, Leijons and Vantas’ with a reader who likes to play dating sims with them?

Eridan may act like this is stupid but truly it is something he’s grown to genuinely enjoy playing and it’s taught him how to be decent in terms of romance so that’s a plus. He really can’t stand the cheesiness of it all though.

Cronus kinda makes fun of the game a lot for how stupid it is but he actually has a fun time with it so 🤷‍♀️ and it’s very obvious he’s having a fun time despite him making fun of it

We all know karkat is a hopeless sap, so he loves these games especially when it’s with you lmao. Oh boy and if it’s a well written game, even better for him.

Kankri acts like this is childish and below him but he’s secretly a hopeless romantic and is low key having a fun time with it.

Nepeta LOVES it, probably the one that suggests you two play most of the time and it’s just become a bonding experience between you two.

Meulin likes it a lot, so you two play it very often. Has specific ones she likes to play with you over and over, but her favorites are typically really silly and stupid ones.

You don't even have to finish explaining for her to start denying what you just said. It's absurd to even think your traits are something considered as bad!

She will start paying more attention to the parts you dislike, showing how much she loves every single inch of you.

She'd complement how you look whenever she sees you. Especially when she can see the source of your insecurity on display.

Nepeta

She doesn't understand how you can even find something to hate about your body. So it took her a while to realize that you have such issues.

When she did though she was just determined to make you feel better. You're you and nothing will change her feelings for you.

She'd doodle you and point out how adorable you are. Everything about you made you into her amazing partner so she honestly couldn't see how you could look even better, besides if you put on your best smile.

Feferi

The second she even hears a HINT of you having body image issues she has everything ready to help you.

She loves you and she won't tolerate any self-hatred coming from you. So expect all kinds of support from her.

She'll talk to you and try to come up with ways to make you feel better. Since for everyone something else will work.

Aradia

She's not the type to pay attention to beauty cannon. Since to her the more interesting you are the better!

And it's not her calling you a freak or anything. It's just that she likes imperfections! She likes to look at you and have you just the way you are.

If others find it a problem then it's none of yours. Simple as that. And she tries to help you understand her point of view, hoping that you'll realize just how amazing you are.

Jane

She understands having issues like this. So she approaches the issue slow and steady.

She doesn't drown you in questions, she just lets you talk about it yourself if you feel like it. But she won't let you talk poorly about it for too long because she clearly sees when it's getting too much.

She'd help you accept yourself the way you are, and if there is a way for you to change some of the "ugly" traits, she'd also support you. As long as you're happy (and not hurt yourself obviously) she won't be stopping you.

Meowrails Headcanons

-Nepeta would be first to fall in love, whether they were both yanderes or if Equius was just lending a helping hand to his moirail.

-Nepeta does more active stalking, she'll find things about you from the past, she'll look through your things at your house. Equius is more of a passive watcher, he focuses on what you do and how you act now.

-When Nepeta is doing the watching version of stalking, she would likely be doing it with Equius, and she would get rid of her excitedly anxious energy by pulling him into a bone-crushing hug after watching you do anything she deems cute.

-She's still protective, more so than Equius, so if you're in any significant danger while she's watching you, her mood will change almost immediately, and she'll jump out from wherever she was hiding to help protect you.

-They always share what they've learned about you, Equius tends to do it in more of an official reporting way, while Nepeta just goes on rambles about what she saw you do and how it was so cute and how you were so purrfect.

-Neither of them would be willing to approach you, at least not until your kidnapping. Equius would likely be the one to kidnap you, while Nepeta would be there the whole time for emotional support.

-Honestly even if Equius wasn't a yandere, he would still do a lot of stuff that would be very similar, just to help out his moirail.

Can you write something about reader being Nepeta's short girlfriend and the two of you cuddling in a mass of blankets when it's really cold and eventually falling asleep? I totally Headcanon that Nep purrs.

The earth winter had come early this year. The temperature already in the lower digits, the wind and air having a cold bite when you ventured outside. A modest snowfall was estimated later that night, the flurries already fluttering across the sky as the sun set for the evening.

You gave a comfortable stretch under one of the many blankets that lay across the bed you a the olive blooded troll shared. Compared to outside, your little bundle of warmth and safety made it seem nonexistent.

You rested your head on your girlfriend’s shoulder watching the screen of her gaming console illuminate her face. “How’s your island?”

Her tongue poked out from her lips, her visible fang poking out. “Purrty good! I finally was able to get peaches.” She replied, while turning to face you and pausing the game.

You hummed audibly in reply. “How sweet.~”

She smiled softly and placed her console further away on the layers of blankets. Turning back around she wrapped her strong arms around the oversized pillow beneath her and squeezed. “Peaches aren’t the only things that are sweet.”

You felt your face warm and gently booped her on her nose. “Flattery will get you everywhere, Nep.”

Her eyes crinkled in both mischief and love as she stared at you, her emerald orbs shining softly from the warm light further away in the room.

“Whatcha looking at?” you mused, moving your hand to run against her short, curly locks.

She closed her eyes almost immediately, pushing her head into your palm as a soft rumbling noise escaped her lips from her throat. You adored when she purred, you knew she only did so when she felt safe, and content.

“You you youuuuuu~” She sang gently and rushed her arms under your form and pulled you close to her chest, the rumbling now much louder than before.

You wrapped your arms around her lean torso, and leaned your head closer to her form. “You’re so warm.”

You heard her hum and rub her chin across the top of you. “Purrfect for the snugglin’…” She whispered and kissed the outer edge of your ear, causing you to shiver silently.

“…I love you Nep.” you told her, giving her a small squeeze.

The purring intensified considerably when you did so, and she kissed the top of your forehead next. “Flushed for you too, Y/N.”

The cold was no match for the warmth that surrounded both of you that evening. Sleep called both of you quietly and the two of you drifted off while still holding each other close.

Cold white flakes drift towards the ground, a substance Nepeta has never seen before. Alternia, her old home, never got this cold. The new experience had her staring at the white surface of Earth C with eager eyes.

According to her friends this time of year was special for human culture. The olive blood feels excited as she keeps her eyes on the snow outside. Oh… it looks like it'd be so fun to pounce!

Nepeta has heard many things about this time of year. In the cold it “snows” and you can play in it. Humans often bake desserts, give gifts, and all sorts of things. However… Nepeta found one thing very appealing.

Spending time with loved ones.

Nepeta felt if anything this was the purrfect way to bond with her human. Yes… her human! You two already share a house together on Earth C! Yet… you seem so cold recently, like the snow littering the ground.

No matter because Nepeta has plans to change that!

Nepeta pries her gaze from the window to face the couch. A roaring fire crackles at the fireplace to keep the room warm. It feels nice on the skin.

On the couch sits you, "Nepeta's human". You sit with your hands and legs tied, it's a set of ropes keeping you on the couch. Nepeta can't help but grin at you, even if you look at her with fear and betrayal.

“:33 < don't you f33l better!? this time of year is best spent with people you love, right?” Nepeta purrs as she runs over to sit on the couch. You don't make an effort to move as she slips a blanket over the two of you.

Nepeta is so happy she met you! On Alternia she was rather lonely in her cave except for Equius and her unrequited feelings for Karkat. Well… now she has you!

Moirail… Matesprit… She doesn't care. She's just happy she has someone like you. Especially when she wants to cuddle someone while the snow falls!

“:33 < there's no n33d to be so scared! we love each other, don't we?” Nepeta grins, pulling you closer and nuzzling. “:33 < we'll k33p each other warm... i'm so glad we're together!”

Together… but not really by choice on your end. You try to ignore the feline troll snuggling into you and stare at the fire. This winter could be beautiful and nostalgic… if you weren't in this situation.

You hear the troll yawn next to you as she curls up against you. You lean away a bit to lay down but Nepeta just follows you closely. Her grip is like that of iron and you swear she's actually purring.

Nepeta tiredly watches the snow outside as the fire crackles away. She feels so warm against you, it's putting her to sleep. Feeling content and happy… the olive blood closes her eyes and falls asleep on top of you.

You feel the troll sleeping on top of you and try to pull at your restraints. Sadly she knew to put them on tightly with many intricate knots. Nepeta has caught you like you're her prey and you're at her mercy.

All you can do is watch the snow and fire… praying Nepeta decides to let you go outside tomorrow.

Or at the very least… out of the restraints.

-If you haven't misbehaved, she won't usually use her strife specibus on you. If she's still in the mood to claw you, she'll just use her normal nails, no need to completely maul you if you're playing nicely.

-If you have been misbehaving though, she'll use her strife specibus. She knows that it is better for causing more severe damage, something that she'll want if she's especially pissed off.

-Usually, you can tell if she's mad at you or not by how she attacks you, whether she is using her strife specibus to harm you or not.

-If she isn't upset, and she's just doing it because she wants to, the cuts will be shallower, but she'll be slower and make sure you're conscious of every second, every fiber of your skin splitting and tearing.

-If she is upset, she moves faster, and her cuts are deeper. She's never truly careless with it, she wouldn't harm you enough for you to die, but you will definitely be left with wounds that you need to rely on her to help you with.

-Either way, her favorite position to have you in is for you to be laying on your stomach with her holding your head down with one hand and your legs with her knees. From there, she can easily claw your back up.

-She's always very caring afterwards though, she doesn't want anything she does to you to become infected or lead to larger injuries, so she always cleans each wound and bandages it as necessary.
