He may not be physically be your side but Sollux is always up to playing games together

Karkat Vantas

Tough love/ Quality time/ Yelling

He's one of the most carrying trolls you've ever met, but he can't express his love in a non aggressive and shouty way

But Karkat does care, a lot actually, he just expresses it by yelling at you to be more careful or for you to sleep a normal time or even for you to not forget eating

The time you spend together at his hive he's always making you something to eat, covering you with the fluffiest blankets he owns and showing you the cheesiest and shittiest romcoms he has

Nepeta Leijon

Physical touch / Quality time

Cuddle bug and she's not sorry

Nep craves deep conversations in the dead of night, it's when she feels like she can truly connect with you

Also outfit sharing, she loves to see you in her clothes and wearing her sign

LOWBLOOD ALPHA TROLLS, PLATONIC IMAGINE WHERE THEY GET A KITTEN WITH THEIR ROOMMATE, READERS GENDER NOT SPECIFIED, ROMANTIC IF YOU WANT.

🦀 karkat 🍒

You walked into your roommate karkats room and asked him if he wanted to go and pick up a kitten, he was a small black cat with deep green eyes and was only 20 Minutes from your house. He was sort of confused on the random cat offer, but he agreed nonetheless. He wouldn't admit it to you, but he had a major soft spot for felines!

After you and karkat picked up the kitten and drove him back to your house, you let him explore around karkats room. You and karkat immediately fell inlove with a small kitten.

You left karkat to watch him for a second while you go get some cat safe formula milk, you opened the door and chuckled a little. The small cat was snuggling with karkat inside his sweater, karkat was baby talking him and it was too cute. (And funny.)

Karkat eventually noticed that you where watching him. His faced flushed a bright, candy red as he yelled at you. You didn't care.

You walked up to him and took the kitten from inside his sweater. Karkats flush grew at the sight of you being so handsy. You fed the cat and watched him suckle on the syringe. You cradled the small, baby kitten in your arms. Eventually karkat came over to look at you being so motherly with the kitten.

He leaned on your shoulder and asked what you where gonna name the cat. "Stinky. That's his name" you answered. Karkat gave you a look, but shrugged it off. Karkat started to fall asleep on your shoulder.

As he slepped, a loud purr emitted from his chest rocking his body in his sleep. You put the syringe away as stinky had finished feeding, and started to fall asleep beside your best friend, and your new kitten.

🐏 Aradia 🦴

You and your friend Aradia have been planning on getting a kitten for months. You where both very prepared and excited.

You came back home with a small, white kitten. She was sleeping softly on your lap and purring very loudly. Aradia have you a jokey death stare and picked up the kitten to go cuddle her herself.

You weren't having it. You stomped over to the kitchen and got a little bit of salmon. and crept back to the living room. The kitten immediately hopped over to you, and quickly devoured the tiny piece of salmon. She crawled into your lap and started to knead your shoulders, slightly digging her claws under your skin. You didn't mind.

Aradia started to stroke the frail kitten and she kneaded your skin. "Can we name her Helena? PLEASEE?" Aradia have you some puppy dog eyes and you agreed to the name, it was quite cute and matches the kitten very well.

You and Aradia played with fake mice and watched Helena pounce. She was such a cute kitten, what a blessing.

🐂 tavros 🧡

Tavros had seemed rather upset lately, and for good reason to. His old 'friend' vriska kept bugging him on his blood, looks, personality, stutter, anything she could bully about him, she did.

It was practically soul crushing for tavros. He barely had any self confidence already, and vriska had destroyed that small strip he had left. And now vriska had left him for good, he was just so upset and stressed he would burst, he didn't ask you for comfort however, he didn't want to annoy you.

He felt lost and didn't know what to do, he craved comfort so dearly but had nobody he felt he could truly trust. He started sobbing in his room and breaking down.

You heard sobbing from the room beside you, and immediately ran over to see what was up. You saw your best friend crying and burying his face into his pillow. You walked up to him and asked what was wrong.

He was so embarrassed to cry Infront of you, he thought you saw him as a nuisance due to his endless wailing, but you didn't mind.

He started talking about anything that has upset him. (Name) gave him a tight hug. He felt himself feel better as he was comforted by his best friend. He smiled happily.

(Name) told him about their plan to get a kitten, tavros was over the moon! When (name) came home with the little orange tabby, tavros practically melted. He snuggled the little baby and gave him little kisses on the forehead.

You chuckled and watched your best friend interact with the kitten. The two of you decided to think of a name for the little kitten.

He recommended the name 'arturo', he said it was because it just stuck! And it did suit him so you agreed.

You, tavros, and Arturo fell asleep together, without realising you started to cuddle up with tavros and Arturo slept on the pillow beside you.

🐝 sollux 🍯

You drove home with a small brown kitten despite your roommates protests that 'we didn't need one' well, yo sure as hell needed a kitten, who cares what he says.

When you came home with the kitten in hand, he whined and gave you a disappointed look. You just shrugged it off and put the kitten on his lap.

He started dubiously petting the small feline Infront of him, a smile crept up on his face. You went and grabbed some cat formula milk in a syringe and handed it over to sollux, he gently cradled the kitten and fed it.

You left to go buy some groceries and when you came back you saw sollux sleeping with the small brown kitten on his stomach, you giggled and decided to lay next to him.

"Shhh, you might wake ernice" he whispers, you smile, he had just spent a few minutes with the small kitten and he had already named it, you knew he would love having a cat around, he just needed a bit of help realising it.

🐈‍⬛ nepeta 💚

You and nepeta had been researching cats all month, nepeta and you where inlove! Those little furry felines where litter-ally purr-fect!

You and nepeta left the house together to go adopt a cat from the petstore, until you spotted a little kitten laying alone in the grass, next to their dead mother.

Nepeta pouted and cried a little. you where also on the brink of tears, seeing dead cats was very heart wrenching. Nepeta went and picked up the meowing kitten, and it would be wrong not to take it home.

As you and nepeta arrived home the little kitten immediately showed her true colours, pouncing and being active around the house, with nepeta of course.

You giggled and joined in the zoomies, it was like playing tag with the other children as a kid, if felt nice. Eventually you got tired and decided to calm down a little.

"Can we name her mewo? PLEASEEE?" Nepeta gives you some shiny begging eyes, while holding the kitten close to her chest. You loved the name, it reminded you of one of your favourite games, omori.

"Of course!" You answered, nepeta did a little happy dance and span around, stimming as she did so. You smiled and once again joined in, nepeta was such a great roommate.

Aradia and you often spent time together. She often spent time on excavations and you went with her. She was studying the bones while you were telling her about what happened to you during the time that you didn't see each other. You lived at a distance from each other because of the different areas where your hives were located, but she tried to invite you to her house as often as possible

She knew that quite often your emotional state got out of control. You quickly lost your temper and your psionics got out of control with you. Every time this happened and Aradia was there, she comforted you by hugging and gently stroking your hair

You always felt calmer around her. Every time it seemed to you that your psionics would cause an explosion because of your emotions, she gently smiled, pressed you to her chest and soothingly stroked you on the back. She spoke words of support to you and you felt calmer again, snuggling up to her

Aradia knew that sometimes you needed to talk and she was ready to listen to you. If you needed help, she was ready to help you as much as she could. You both didn't have a huge amount of opportunities on Alternia, but Aradia was sure that together it couldn't stop you

She understood that you didn't like the fact that your emotions were out of control and she never blamed you for it. It was a part of you and all she could do was help you deal with it and make sure it didn't harm you or others

I'd like it to take place during winter. Reader is basically walking outside to get her mind off of something and then bumps into Aradiabot. A small argument occurs on why hasnt Aradia talked to her in so long.

You’re freezing your behind off at this cold harsh winter, the snow was lovely to look at, but it made for some harsh winds. It’s still better than alternia, in your eyes, but you could not stand how cold it was. It’s natural though for you to be weaker to the cold, as a mutant. Aradiabot didn’t seem bothered by the cold, given her robotic state. This seemed to warm you right up though, upon seeing her. The sight of her was almost unbearable, maybe because you still weren’t used to her being a bot after all this time. She was once normal, before an ex friend ruined it all for you, as she often did with most things. You wondered why aradiabot hadn’t talked to you in so long, you yelled and screamed but in the end you knew why she hadn’t. She didn’t care about you the way she had before. You were no longer in a black relationship. She felt nothing for you. But you felt everything for her.

Pairing: Matesprits ❤️

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Poly yanderes, Stalking, Possessive behavior, Violence, Mentions of death, Isolation, Kidnapping, Manipulation, Implications of Stockholm Syndrome, Forced relationship.

This duo is both compatible and dangerous.

Especially if Aradia is in God-Tier already.

The two are already close to the point of dubious red quadrant feelings.

They are also very similar.

Both of them have a vague sense of how things are supposed to go.

They don't know your every move or how exactly things will go between all of you, but they feel it is meant to happen somehow.

The two most likely believe in fate due to hoe aware they are of potential dangers and changes.

Sollux is aware of doom, which is unfortunately what your relationship is going to be.

While Aradia has shown moments where she's aware of future events, which leads to her predicting things somewhat.

She knows you, her, and Sollux will be Matesprits.

The issue is how.

I feel how you be dragged into a Matespritship with them could go a few ways.

The two are already in the red quadrant and feel they want you in it as well.

You're in a (forced) Matespritship with one of them already and they invite the other.

Then there's if they're fighting over you and happen to realize they like the same Troll, leading to a truce.

I imagine these two are super dangerous for a few reasons also.

Sollux is apathetic to violence and death, plus he's strong with his powers.

While Aradia is also apathetic to violence and death, along with also having strong powers.

If anything, the two together causes extreme chaos.

Violence is common in Troll culture, as you're all Trolls it's expected.

But I imagine these two can get awfully destructive if someone was trying to fill another of your quadrants.

The two feel like they'd be a possessive duo if their darling was getting attention from somewhere else.

After all, having a Troll pairing be poly like yours is much different than usual pairings.

A set of three Matesprits is pretty rare and usually kept quiet.

No one likes being culled.

You'll all most likely be "best friends" until you're all on the meteor.

Then the facade falls for them and they claim you as their third.

Although they could just keep it a secret if this is Alternia.

It's sad for you because you've always seen Aradia and Sollux as friends.

No quadrant specified! Not Moirails or Matesprits... friends.

Even if some Trolls refuse to accept that as a thing at times.

Their obsession is much quicker due to you being a Troll.

They may both take some time if you weren't, but since you are a Troll they are quicker to form a relationship.

Making you their third is most likely a forced situation.

You don't see them that way, plus the idea of sharing your red quadrant with two Trolls is jarring at first.

You can try to turn them down... they don't take it well.

Even though they are lower on the spectrum, they're strong with their powers.

The two easily insert themselves into your life.

Sollux can hack tech to use to his advantage, effectively tracking where you go.

While Aradia can haunt you due to being dead and having abilities pertaining to that.

That or if she has her God-Tier? Now you have a Time power issue.

Safe to say the two are going to get their way.

It's funny how Aradia hates being manipulated, but would do the same to you if it meant setting you on "the right path."

The two will quickly integrate themselves into your life, to the point you can't refuse their offer.

There's no need to feel ashamed! Having two Matesprits just means you'll be a super loved Troll.

Which is why you shouldn't have to speak to other Trolls.

Despite filling quadrants being an important part of Troll culture, the two try to prevent it from happening.

No Moirail, no Kismesis, they won't be needed.

You have your Matesprits and they're all you should need.

Despite the fact such a thing is unhealthy for Trolls.

The two no doubt control your life, which is very ironic for Aradia.

She doesn't seem to care about being hypocritical.

In order to keep you as their third Matesprit, the two would lock you away in one of their Hives or rooms on the meteor.

That way they know they're the only Trolls with access to you.

Plus, if you fight them on this then Sollux has no issues holding you down with psionics.

Out of the two I definitely feel Aradia is the driving force.

Sollux cares for her and goes along with what she says.

If she wants you as their third... he isn't complaining.

They'd both be a pain to talk to if Aradia is still just a ghost.

Then there's her in her God-Tier.

Aradia is so ecstatic and emotional when she ascends.

She'd be much more affectionate towards you and Sollux, even encouraging the Goldblood to show more affection.

The two Trolls are adamant on giving you affection, even if Sollux struggles at it.

They want to make sure you turn to no other Trolls or humans to fill your quadrants.

While you'd probably benefit from black love or pale love, they prefer to just shower you in red.

Anyone who tries to fill your quadrants without their permission is... dealt with.

Bloodshed is common to see but it pains you to see your Matesprits kill any potential quadrant-mates.

They quickly try to distract you from it though, often reminding you of how they care for you and that no other Troll could compare.

Blood color most likely doesn't matter to them.

While you technically have authority if you're a Highblood, the two will still try to make things work due to believing it must.

The two would be yanderes to keep you in isolation, even if you begin to give into their delusions.

Even if you do love them, they can't risk other Trolls taking you away.

I can't see them being yanderes who'd do PDA unless it's God-Tier! Aradia.

Most of it is mentioned and implied, they're possessive but not to the point of exposing their polygamy to everyone.

Hell, the poly Matespritship even makes sense due to Sollux's duality theme.

Overall, these two would be Trolls willing to harm and even kill others if it meant keeping you as their third.

The two are powerful and quickly get ahold of their life before the Matespritship is even official.

The two know they'll get their way in the end... because it's how it's meant to be.

♡| As a matesprite, Aradia would be a fairly affectionate lover. She often drags you to her respiteblock for cuddles whenever she feels that you haven't been snuggled enough!

☆ Kismesis headcanons ☆

♤| Aradia as a kismesis would be TERRIFYING, and you can't convince me otherwise. She can literally summon the spirits of the dead to do her bidding. Expect spooky shit to constantly happen to you.

♤| All of...that aside, when aradia hates someone, she HATES them. Anything you do that is even mildly annoying is met with something TWICE as awful...so, be careful with what you dish out.

BONUS:

☆ Vacillating Quadrants headcanons ☆

♡/♤| Y'all have a very hot/cold relationship, and it shows. One minute, the two of you are fistfighting over what movie to watch during date night, the next the two of you are cuddling up to one another and giggling like a pair of lovestruck school girls. (It really scared Karkat when he first saw this happen, but now it just mildly unsettles him)

♡/◇| You know that one couple that's so sweet and cheesy and head over heels in love that you physically can't stand being next to for longer than a few minutes? That's you two. I will not be taking criticism.

A - Attachment: How do they become obsessed?

Perhaps you met on Alternia and had played the game together, her growing attached to you in spite of the hopelessness and numbness that death had presented her. You were the one thing that made her feel alive, gave her purpose. Maybe, she had come across you in the dream bubbles, the two of you reuniting. She stayed with you to catch up and provide company and to take a break from her constant travels. She soon grew incredibly fixated on you, obsessing over you. Her eyes were always on you. Next thing you knew, you were spending an eternity together, not allowed to leave her side.

I - Intimacy: How intimate are they with their darling?

Aradia is incredibly touchy-feely. Just holding hands or having a hand on your shoulder or arm makes her feel more secure. Her kisses have a lot of force behind them, and you'll most likely be covered in lipstick marks. Aradia also gives crushing hugs, so you might have to let her know if she'd being a smidge too affectionate.

W - Weakness: What is something that they can't resist? (Can be with their darling or not.)

Aradia is someone with a very strong mental fortitude, and her experience with a certain someone allows her to know when someone is trying to manipulate her. A "weakness" of hers would probably be if you try to insult her or say that you hate her for what she's done to you. It'll throw her for a loop, and leave her incredibly sad and hollow - but only until her sadness turns to frustration. Then, she'll tie you up with her whip and smother you further until you learn that she loves and you love her. She hates to have to punish you, but this is tough love!

for a short answer: i personally hc all the human girls as being attracted to the same gender on some level and it’s canon that trolls don’t really have sexualities the way we do. so! assuming they like the girl back, i think all the girls would be receptive and happy with a girl liking them. for a more specific headcanons, see under the cut.

💜 rose tries so hard to play it cool, she really does. she has all these really cool one liners and suave pick up lines saved, but the minute you begin talking to her all bets are off. emotions and sincerity are really not rose’s forte, but she does make an effort for you. she’s very flustered whenever you broach the subject, but tries her damndest not to show it. this may result in rose coming off as colder and more verbose than usual, but don’t be put off! she’s just nervous, ha ha.

💚 jade is really surprised when she finds out you like her. she’d been trying to subtly flirt with you for a while, but that had mostly turned into her getting heart eyes whenever you talk and looking like--well, a lovesick puppy. as soon as she catches wind that you like her, she’s ready to confront you and hopefully move from there. despite her previous unlucky relationships, jade tends to tread on the side of optimism and has high hopes for your future together.

💙 jane is completely beside herself. we see how flustered she gets when the subject is brought up with jake, but when she’s being confessed to?? her brain short circuits. after the conversation, jane might avoid you for a little bit due to embarassment, but with a little reassurance she’ll come around. at the end of the day, she’s just so overwhelmed and happy that you like her back.

💗 roxy is immediately stoked. she’s got so much love to give, and cannot wait to share it with you! prepare for lots of affection from roxy; cuddles and wonks are frequent. you can’t really blame her though. she’s smitten and thrilled you like her back. don’t expect her to be very public about your blossoming relationship, though. while roxy may gush and be lovey-dovey when the two of you are alone, she prefers to keep matters of the heart more private.

❤️ aradia’s all smiles. she’s visibly happy, probably taking your hands tightly between her own. she’s not shy in verbally confirming her excitement either. aradia starts opening up a little more; she’s showing off one the more impressive bones in her collection when you realize this. it wasn’t bragging. it was an invitation into aradia’s world, so to speak. at any rate, your interest makes aradia feel warm inside.

💚 nepeta is beyond thrilled. she immediately updates her shipping wall to display her newly canonized otp. deep down, nepeta is very lonely; that’s the entire reason she’s so invested in relationships. knowing you like her is like a dream come true! if you haven’t already confessed, rps will probably start getting suspiciously flirty, lol. subtlety doesn’t come easy for nepeta, and it’s even harder when she likes you so much!

💚 kanaya has to do a double take. she hadn’t really thought that her attempts at flirting had… worked?? but here you are. liking her. blood rushes to kanaya’s cheeks at the very thought. anyway, kanaya’s all in at the thought of being with you; dates are planned quickly. assuming you’re on a planet with non-lethal sunlight, happy sunshine picnic dates with your vampire girlfriend are frequent.

💙 terezi likes to play around before getting to the heart of the matter, so she’ll probably flirt with you for a little bit before officiating any relationship with you. terezi just loves the scent of your chagrin when she teases you! it might take a while for her to actually open up to you though. terezi’s had a difficult past where romance is concerned, so be patient with her.

💙 vriska will probably try cajoling you into making the first move. except she’s not exactly subtle, so it’s super obvious that your crush on her is reciprocated. there are probably a lot of shenanigans leading up to the actual confession: that just comes with the vriska package. kinda random but later on in your guys’ relationship i could see vriska bouncing her various plots and schemes off of you. intentionally or not, you’ll become the person who makes sure all her irons in the fire aren’t getting too hot.

💗 feferi is SO GLUBBING -EXIT-ED!!! 38D it may take a few moments of giggling before feferi’s calmed enough to really talk. but when she does, it’s all about you. she wants to know what you’re thinking, what’s going through your head. feferi’s just a bit concerned is all. her history of dating cagey, grumpy boys has forced feferi into a habit of being pushy about feelings. bare with her, though, she means well. also probably a big hugger.

❤️ damara is suspicious, at first. she’s been severely jilted in the past, and this has negatively affected her outlook on future relationships. damara will come on super strong to scare you off make sure you’re serious about her and not in it for the wrong reasons. once she’s decided that you’re trustworthy, damara will take things very slow. she’ll want to spend a lot of time with you, being soft and getting to know each other.

💚 meulin is excited, but inside she’s a little nervous. similar to damara, meulin has been unlucky in love in the past. for as much as she loves love, she had made her peace with it not being in the cards for her future. your confession definitely makes her happy, don’t get me wrong! but she’s also worried and waiting for some tragedy to befall the two of you. be patient with meulin; she just doesn’t want to lose somebody she cares about as much as you. <3

💚 porrim is much happier than she lets on. secretly, she’d worried that her.. salacious reputation had scared you off. she won’t need much reassurance, though. just your presence is enough to comfort porrim and remind her that others’ opinions don’t matter. you ground her, in that way. i could see porrim being a little protective of you too; she might fuss over your scarf when it’s cold out or be really into helping you time manage or something like that.

💙 latula’s knee jerk reaction is to throw up a palm for the r4dd3st high five, but thought better of it when she remembered her steel palm. if she trusts you with her heart, then latula will likely trust you enough to at least partially drop the cool girl facade. latula’s ultra supportive, too. whether it’s verbal encouragement, a hand on the small of your back while walking, or even just a smile, latula never lets you forget that she’s got you, through thick and thin.

💙 aranea is a bit smug. she was sure this day would come sooner or later, it was only a matter of when. that doesn’t stop her from being elated, though! which she immediately begins to wax poetic about, haha. aranea probably keeps a diary or two, in which you are a recurring theme. this is a little random, but in private i could see aranea being a fan of giving & receiving surprise kisses.

💗 if aranea is a little smug, then meenah is smug as fuck. of course you like her back; what’s not to like? homegull’s got it going on! the two of you will quickly become partners in crime (if you weren’t already), with you as meenah’s right hand gal. despite the bad bitch/take charge attitude meenah has, yours would be pretty much the only opinion she values higher than her own. though she may have a reputation to uphold, meenah thinks of you as her strongest ally.
