I had to let some time pass before I wrote this. The discourse is heated and polarized.

My first impression upon listening/watching the first time: I did not like it because of fugly white boy, Jack Harlow. I've never liked him, I've never liked his lyrics or his vibe. He is the type of overdone, asshole misogynistic male bullshit rap that had become unavoidable for a while.

I don't have ANY problem with JK singing about sex, having sex, shooting his jizz to the sky or any of that. BRING. THAT. ON. I don't care if the song is about phone sex or masturbating on camera or whatever.

What I do have a problem with is a white guy saying one girl (the black girl) is boring but two girls (add the white girl) is cool. I have a problem with the concept of having women lined up ready to fuck as some sort of thing to laud. And they are all dressed alike, so that means he doesn't care about them, they're all the same. Just another pussy to fuck. Diversity, yay. Not.

I will listen to the alternate version of the song but I will never listen to or stream the version with the rap.

I love Jungkook. I love that he's exploring his sound. He is creating music that speaks to him RIGHT NOW in his career. Do I like that he's put this song out? No. But that's my own personal opinion.

I can't speak for Jungkook, a 26 year old Korean man. He has his own systemic and structural oppressions to deal with.

I am not going to second guess him. He will see the feedback and take it into consideration, I don't have to guess on that, I know he will. They all see what goes on.

I wanted to give JK the benefit of the doubt with Seven. I don't have a problem with Seven the song, but its the hype surrounding it that is perpetuated by the fandom that he is being pushed in the western market. This song proves it.

All that being said, BTS and each individual member all exist within an industry that is heavily influenced by the western market.

As such, every song each member releases will add to the colors that the team will be able to use when they come back together as a group. No one will be surprised if BTS utilizes a hardcore western rapper in the future now. It is just one more color in the mix.

But as my friend says: "Shoot for another Coldplay....They don't need to be lifting people up. They need to find peers. Which is why I would support a Lady Gaga collab with Tae. Which is why Hobi asked for J Cole. That's a peer, man. I can handle Pharrell with them.

Our first house party... SHIT WAS LIT. If you been followin my blog since the beginning then you remember when we first moved to Fakrava Island, we have moved into three homes during our time here, from tiki hut to private island to this big ass custom house. We really thoroughly enjoyed our time here, this is where we raised our tigers, and Yemi during her first months. It was super special that on our very last week here we were able to celebrate all the lil milestones with the biggest one we had in our list. 

I also got to share my love for music w the people and return to some of my personal SL roots. Being apart of the commune that was always my role there. I was known as the commune DJ and I was known for throwing wild themed parties like my favorite one which was a Andy Warhol theme based on the art scene he created in New York in the 80s. IYKYK. This time it was different because I was able to share a whole other side of genre of music and aesthetic w my people that connects to another side of me. That was dope. I am a hippie rocker alt chick at heart but I also am an African hip hop head too. LOL.

Oh ! there was also a tray of all kinds of fancy party favors we had brownies, shrooms, joints .... lmao everything. We didnt have any tip jar out or anything like that because it was just about the energy. I really wanted ppl to feel something new and different from this party, which is actually an old school SL vibe and tradition of being which is, sharing with others. What good is all these fancy homes and cute foods and clothes and objects if we arent using them to have fun, socialize and connect with others! Thats what the Linden bears are all about. The magick in giving something you made to someone else. Sharing your hard work and creations with your friends and strangers who you want to connect with.

I am def going to miss our room, Its literally when you finally get everything decorated the way you like that something happens where you got to leave lmao. I feel like ive even written about this before in past blogs because we have had rude awakenings in the past with our living situation. Lil Yemi is about to be one and shes moved so many times already! XD

Afro Nation fest was wild, I wont write much about this because it was a bittersweet thing for Wav and I. The sim was packed instantly hundred ppl there.

Asake performance was wild, we changed 3 times! We put on a real SHOW! I was basically IT girl dancer because the other three coordinated without me, even though I sent all the info of the outfits I put together to match his outfits in the discord. Outfits that were free/ affordable to get and fire! It was hilarious when I see them pull up in one fit they wore the entire show that didnt match anything on stage. LMFAO. They tried to leave me out but it did not work. I had all my routine set because I actually went to rehearsal lmao. I wont say anything else besides WAV AND I KILLED IT. He was also the only artist who had three changes during the show. We didnt get paid, thanks for any of our work.. for showing up to every rehearsal despite our RL shit we had going on, for rearranging our schedule to accommodate and perform. But we did it for the culture not for money intially... until we realized that none of the people were actually kind to us, talked to us or treated us like apart of the team. Sad.

I also made palm stones, I chose the most helpful on hand allies I could think of. This all comes from the knowledge and wisdom I use and have gained working in my RL. I used to be a gatekeeper at a modern day botanica for many years. It is actually one of the most popular ones here in LA, visited by many high profile people. I am really exciting about merging this aspect of my RL with my life on the grid, overall it has felt fulfilling to my heart. ;)

I made spell infused soaps as well! Every botanica out there has em and they are for the practical mystics out there! Everything at my botanica is mystory compatible and boosts stats! Mainly happiness, energy and social!

Aw, our last lil pic as we packed up our fakrava home, we moved for a second to a house in Aussie shores and then from there we now live in our true home on the Mystory sim. I call it true home because that is where Meroe is, that is where the Botanica is, our new Secondlife family is found there. We wouldnt have it any other way and we are so grateful and blessed to have it.

update.

so we’ve had two our two hangouts.

on friday, it was my last day of work so we all went to jason’s house and hung out. will, bella, connor, jason, and two of our other friends were there. spencer didn’t show.

i talked with everyone pretty evenly for most of the night but i didn’t get too drunk. however, at one point in the night, i tripped and hurt my ankle. it didn’t hurt too bad so i didn’t think too much of it but jason, who was sober, said it didn’t look great.

we all ended up going to connors house because his parents weren’t home. we had a good night there but connor took more edibles and i was worried he’d throw up again. when it was time to go to sleep, will and bella and jason had taken up the couches and connor said that someone could sleep on the top bunk of his bed. so i went upstairs with connor and i told him that i was too drunk and my ankle hurt too bad to get up on the top bunk so i said i would sleep on the floor. i said this assuming that he’d offer his bed but he just offered to help me get up and when i said no he said “okay suit yourself” and went to sleep. that bummed me out. (but the next time we hung out he told bella that he did that because he thought i didn’t want to sleep in his bed and he also felt sick lol). he did end up going to the bathroom in the middle of the night and i could hear him puking a lot so i just stayed up to listen until he came back to bed but i pretended to be asleep because i didn’t want him to be embarrassed.

the next morning we were awoken by his brothers who told us that his parents would be home soon and we had to clean up the alcohol that we left downstairs. i was still pretty high when i woke up so i was fine to get down the stairs and my ankle didn’t feel too bad. jason took the rest of us home after we said bye to connor and i went home and took a nap.

when i woke up i noticed the pain in my ankle was much worse so i told my mom and she decided to take me to the doctor. they told us that i needed and xray and i found out that my ankle is broken. lmao. and i start college in a week on a huge campus too so yay. the break isn’t too bad i only have to wear a boot but it still sucks.

the next day, sunday, we did something again. we said that it would be our last hang out as a full group. we went to bella’s house and just chilled there. spencer once again didn’t show up which made me really sad because i haven’t seen him since his bad trip and i wanted a chance to say bye to him. i really do value his friendship and it would hurt me if he didn’t want to continue pursuing friendships with our group. he hasn’t responded to the group chat all weekend and i’m not sure what that’s about. but i do want a chance at closure with him at least. i just want to say bye.

sunday was still fun though. i told connor that i thought he was upset with me when we did shrooms and he asked me what he would even be upset with me about. so that was good reassurance. we watched a movie and made food and drank. nobody got super drunk though so i wasn’t really ever drunk enough to cry which was kinda not great because i want to cry now and i’m all alone which will make me cry even harder. like i feel like i’ve been in the verge of tears for a week now and i just need to cry already but i’m so scared that when i start, i’ll have to actually feel everything and it will hurt so so bad. but i know the longer i wait the worse it will hurt. i haven’t really had the big cry about moving out and away from all my friends and i’m not ready for it either but i feel it coming.

towards the end of the night on sunday, we all went to bella’s room and hung out. bella and jason went to her top bunk and will, connor and i stayed on the bottom. i was kind of stuck between connor and will but i was definitely closer to connor. i had to sleep on my back because of the boot on my foot so connor and i were touching shoulders all night lmao. connor and i were the last ones awake and we stayed up for a bit talking before we went to sleep. it was nice and i feel like if we were both more drunk we would have kissed.

the next day, connor had to leave early because he was using his dads car and he needed it back but i was asleep when he left so i didn’t really get to say goodbye to him.

this is why bella proposed that we do something with the group (minus jason) on wednesday, as connor moves in friday, i move in saturday, and spencer moves in sunday. jason moves in tuesday and bella moves in in a few weeks. will is taking a gap semester. so far, will and i have been the only ones to respond but i’m really hoping that spencer and connor will show up because i want to say goodbye so badly. i just started hanging out with them a few months ago but i’ll miss them a lot. i just feel like i like them more than they like me which sucks.

but yeah. that’s what i’m worrying about right now. i’m just putting off the breakdown over my friends right now because i know that i’ll see them again soon but i think it’ll come after that. it’ll definitely hurt the most to see bella go because she’s my very best friend in the whole world and i know that we won’t grow apart but i also know that her new college will give her so many amazing opportunities and it’ll be hard to see her grow and prosper without me by her side. i’m just scared. but excited for the new beginnings that await both of us. this has been her dream forever and i will never hold her back from that.

but that’s it. i’ll update after wednesday on if we do something. i know that bella, will and i will at least get together and connor usually answers and tags along as well. i just hope spencer comes too. and if not i hope he lets us stop by his house or something to say bye. idk. i just need to say bye.

DELTARUNE

So, there are plenty of allusions/paralles to Undertale in Deltarune and some easter eggs. I’ve made a list of the ones that I managed to find/catch. I’m pretty sure there are more of them.

1. There is an easter egg with naming your vessel and yourself. Like in Undertale using names of characters from the game will trigger a special dialogue (and like in Undertale naming your vessel or yourself “Gaster” will close the game).

2. When you look through the window in your room there is reference to Sans’ genocide fight.

3. A reference to Tsundere Cactus from Undertale, but in Deltarune it’s just an average cactus.

4. Recognizing yourself in the mirror.

5. Toriel hugs Kris almost the same way she hugs Frisk.

6. Alphys is still a weeaboo obsessed with Mew Mew ^^

7. Temmie still has the EG, but this time she is a partner not a proud parent.

8. If you try using your phone in the Dark World it will start making “Gaster noises”.

9. Ralsei’s cloak resembels the one that River Person wears (could River Person be a Darkner?)

10. Lancer’s bike might be a reference to Sans’ bike from the True Pacifist credit scene.

11. How Ralsei introduces us to the game mechanics is like a combination of both Flowey’s and Toriel’s tutorials. Telling what a soul is and how the fighting works is “Flowey’s part” and usage of Dummy and sparing being a preferable option is “Toriel’s part”.

12. Possibly a parallel to comforting a goatbro (Ralsei is a Goat/Boss Monster and a prince just like Asriel).

13. The shopkeepr hints a secret battle with Jevil in the early stage of the game.

15. The plush that Seam has on a shelf has is a reference to one of the Temmie Chang’s (she helped Toby create Undertale) characters, but I couldn’t find a picture of it.

17.  The crown that K. Round wears might be reference to Super Crown, but the way it works is a ref to the big shroom power up. The sound that K. Round makes while growing up and shrinking is very similar to the sound from Mario games.

18. It is surely a reference to Sans’ room door (the weird glow), but it may also have something to do with Gaster’s grey door.

19. The sequence that Lancer and Susie perform is possibly a reference to Team R’s sequence from Pokemon series.

20. Possibly an Undertale Yellow easter egg? (the main charater is named Clover in UT:Y)

21. Even if you got rid of that tree you can still interact with it and get the dialogie box.

22. Lancer misses his attacks on Susie the same way Toriel does that when Frisk has low HP.

23. The theme that plays on floor ?????? inside the Card Castle uses the leitmotif of Gaster’s Theme. (can’t find a link with the theme)

25. Another Pokemon’s reference.

26. You can interact with these pictures, when you interact with all 3 of them they’ll make a splat noise. I’m not sure if it does anything else.

28. She talks about the cake that Susie ate ealier.

40. On the left - dude who bought Muffet’s donut and regreted that later on, on the right - that weirdo from Napstablook’s snail farm.

41. Police station and Undyne’s house share the same doormat.

42. The big mouth monster that was spending time at Grillby’s, also a possible reference to nurse Joy from Pokemon series.

43. A reference to the absurdly tall sink from skelebros’ house. (also that blue bear might be inspired by 5.0.5 from Villainous)

44. Gerson is dead in Deltarune, also his last name is Boom. The hammer on his tombstone refers to his “nickname from war times” from Undertale - Hammer of Justice.

45. The tombstones of monster who were amalgamates in original Undertale, but since in Deltarune Alphys was never a Royal Scientist, all of this monsters just died. From left to right - Snowdrake’s Mother, the dog (Endogeny), Shyren sister (Lemon Bread).

46. Hand Receptionist from MTT Resort and politics bear from Snowdin.

47. That weird cube-dog-like monster from Sans’ crossword.

48. A reference to Purple Guy from game series FNAF (in Deltarune Burgerpants works at Pizzeria after all, hello?! it must be it xD).

49. A bunny shopkeepr from Snowdin, the guy who works in Core, the Ice Wolf (and he finally has pants as he wanted), Fuku Fire and Skateboard girl (but they already graduated), the lion monster who is a fan of Mettaton and gets a dress from him after his musical, and the dragon dude who couldn’t return to his family cause the elevator at MTT Resort was turned off.

50. Sans’ store is literally Grillby’s bar, but the name “Grillby” was removed and Sans added “ans” to the letter “S”. But he didn’t remove apostrophe. Well done Sans, well done.

51. A reference to Spider-Man, “I’m your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man”. Sans even calls Kris “tiger” which is how MJ calls Peter (I forgot to make a screenshot of it tho).

53. “trousle of bones” - it obviously refers to Papyrus’ theme Bonetrousle.

54. Little bunny in the window is a child of that bunny monster who runs Snowdin Inn.

55. A monster from Snowdin who loves knocks lives there. And apparently Kris is not as good at knocking as Frisk is.

56. In the alley where you meet Alphys again there is a painting of Everyman (attack of Reaper Bird - one of the amalgamates). You can’t escape from your sins Alphys, even in another universe/timeline.

57. Asgore’s introduction dialogue in Deltarune is literally the same as in Undertale.

58. These flowers are an obvious allusion/parallel to the souls containers. The golden flower in the middle might be representing the empty container for Frisk’s determination soul. If you remember, in Undertale Alphys used a golden flower as a empty vessel to inject determination and that flower became Flowey later on.

59. RG01 and RG02 are still together, and for some reason they are still wearing helmets even tho the Royal Guard is most likely not a thing in Deltarune xD

60. If you wait long enough by the lake Onionsan will appear. He will ask what’s our name and will want to become friends. He also doesn’t remember his own name due to being alone for too long, so we have an option to gave him one.

61. He also might have a dark secret hehe

62. So there is most likely Mettaton, but we have no idea what’s up with Blooky. I’m hoping that in chapter 2 we will find out Mettaton’s canon ghost form and maybe his real name. Also I doubt that in Deltarune Mettaton has machine body, since Alphys never was a Royal Scientist in this universe/timeline.

63. Chara possession much? also a hint to the ending of Deltarune chapter 1

64. After Kris locks his soul in the cage you can still move it, but you can’t escape.

65. The glowing red eyes, Post Genocide Pacifist vibes are strong in this one.

These are all the allusions/parallel and easter eggs I was able to find. I’m sure there are more. Also there are some that I forgot to screenshot such as “characters titles” in party menu change: - Kris has a title of Leader, but if you check all 4 beds in Card Castle he has a title of Bed Inspector - Ralsei title changes after giving him different scarf There’s also at least one Annoying Dog easter egg in the party menu. my life is so craYCRAY right now, so imma just jot down some shit so I can feel better. I got my wisdom teeth out on Tuesday (it's 2:55 am thursday morning) and the left side of my face is either sore or numb. I can't feel my tongue because it's numb, so I can't tell if i'm burning my taste buds whenever I eat soup. I miss eating solid food and I can't believe I took this shit for granted since I got my braces off ): i'm really annoyed that my mom couldn't put aside her problems for one day to take care of me post surgery, but nah she had to come out the side of her neck at her boyfriend right in front of me over the DUMBEST SHIT. i really like John and he's done so much for my mom and he's so nice to me. he's really cool because he's a chef and we bond over cooking. he's just really cool and I have no reason to really have a problem with him now. I grew up in a house that had two sides, the side everyone saw in public and the side I saw once the curtains had closed..they were polar opposites, heaven and hell if you will. in public, we were painted as your typical rich suburban family with everything served to us on gold pleated china plates. behind the curtains, it was non stop screaming and raging between my parents, between my sister and I, just constant chaos..so there was never a good energy in that house. the energy only deepened and eventually submerged into a gaping black whole when my dad moved out and I had began to live with my mom by myself. never was there a positive energy, unless my mom was at work. other than that, her and I were at each others necks, that house was filled with nothing but lies and false hope to get a sip of happiness out of my "half full" glass. if I wasn't in my room putting concoctions down my throat and up my nose, I was partying on the beach with a boy or plotting ways to avoid any contact with my mom at home so that we don't fight. my mom would yell at before she even pulled in the neighborhood for breathing the wrong way, AND GOD FOR BID a dirty towel is on my bathroom floor. So no, mom, I don't love negative energy- i just don't know any different. I honestly pray that 2017 isn't anything like 2016,15,14,13....it goes on.. this year i'm only gonna focus on myself and do what's good for me because it's my last year before I become a fully developed adult with actual responsibilities.
