Haha, Toyland project go brr-

Another project or thing I have is Welcome to Lootopia, I'm actually trying to make this a text based adventure game. (After I learn how to script. 😭)

I actually got inspired for this by a Laughing Jack artist who had something similar. (You know who you are, you're amazing.) And for some reason as I was watching Noddy, I decided to draw this toy characters who live in a mansion's attic, Mimi is the one who runs the whole thing. (First picture)

I'll definitely put more of their lore cuz it'd be too long to write it all down. (Complicated lore, my beloved.)

Which Enid Blyton character is sometimes accompanied by an excitable dog called Bumpy Dog?

Bumpy Dog is a dog from the original 'Noddy' books by Enid Blyton. He lives with Tessie Bear, but he also accompanies Noddy on many adventures. Noddy first met the Bumpy Dog in Toytown where the dog had been hit by a bicycle. Bumpy Dog was injured and Noddy used his scarf to tie up his damaged paw.

Noddy first appeared in a book series published between 1949 and 1963. Although written by Enid Blyton, the books were illustrated by the Dutch artist Harmsen van der Beek from 1949 until his death in 1953, and Peter Wienk from 1953 to 1963. In 1955, the stories were first adapted for television.

According to the first book, 'Noddy Goes to Toyland' (1949), Noddy was a toy in a toy store until he runs away. While lost in the forest, he meets Big Ears, a friendly gnome, who takes him to live in Toy Land. In the town, Noddy meets many characters who regularly feature in future 'Noddy' stories, including Tessie Bear, Mr. Plod the policeman, Dinah Doll, and Sly and Gobbo, two mischievous goblins. Noddy often drives around in a yellow car with red decals. It has a mind of its own and can "talk" to other characters with its horn.

Bumpy Dog first appears in the 14th book in the series, titled 'Noddy and the Bumpy-Dog' (1957). He features in several stories after that as well as television shows.

I'm American, but I really enjoy British Cartoons [in spite of the many YIKES moments they and their source material often times have]. Fireman Sam [pre-CGI version, I believe I had a episode of this one on a Thomas or a HIT Entertainment DVD], Noddy [Toyland Adventures version, watched on either KTV or PBS, I also may have had an episode of this on a Thomas DVD], Thomas and Friends, Danger Mouse [possibly KTV? I KNOW I watched the 80s show at one point but cannot remember when], UK Dennis the Menace [this one I had only discovered when I was looking up vintage comics. I love how we have both US Dennis and UK Dennis, it's so funny. Also, I headcanon that UK Dennis is a big brother-figure towards US Dennis], and so on.

Oh word I watched a Fireman Sam, Noddy, and Thomas and Friends as a kid!! Also Postman Pat. I can't think of others that I watched that were British but they were all fun
