alone: How does your OC deal with loneliness? Have they ever been completely alone before? How do they act when there's no one around to see them?

She always has been lonely 😭 she likes to read books, draw, and write songs as an escape. She’s from a noble family, but was treated as a bastard so there were a lot of times that she was alone. She lives with her human mother that was too focused with her job (or whatever she was doing). When no one is around her, she recites lyrics out loud to check if they rhyme. A lot.

desire: What's one thing your OC wants more than anything in the world? Are they open with that desire? Why or why not? What would they do to fulfill it?

Acceptance in her family. Being born as a half-elf in a noble family of sun elves, she was always ignored or tolerated by her (inherently racist) relatives. She’s trying so hard to assimilate in high society but she’s always treated as an outsider. However, she’s well-liked outside of nobility.

it all boils down to what she wants is to be loved 😀

ghost: Who or what haunts your OC? What happened? How do they live with their ghosts?

Before the tadpole fiasco, she has never killed anybody. Yes, she had magic training from the academy, but she never had to use it. She was sheltered. She has ordered people to kill their political enemies before, but she never had to do it herself. It was just a bandit that suddenly opened fire at them, and she had to defend herself. The smell of burning flesh and their screams as the flames engulfed them still haunts her sometimes. Every time she bloodies her hands, the faces of the people she has killed warps into the face of the bandit. It’s a dog eat dog world, and she was a tad bit late to the party.

((She feels like they all turn to that bandit to protect herself from the fact that numerous people have been added to her murder list. If they all share the same face, that just means she’s only killing one person, right?))

failure: What's your OC's greatest failure? Have they been able to move past it? Does anyone else know about it?

I guess you could say giving into her emotions. That whole incident got her exiled from Asgard, which stripped her of her Valkyrie position— a title she worked her whole life to get.

Ylva does move on from it through her revenge.

Everyone and their mothers knew about it! It was the talk of the town. She was the first Valkyrie to get exiled, and backed with a controversial reason too.

heartbreak: Have they ever had a relationship that ended badly? Experienced some other kind of heartbreak? What happened?

As for some other kind of heartbreak:

She was also heartbroken by Freya because during her rampage after finding out about Heimdall’s engagement, Freya bound Ylva with her vines. She felt that her (newfound) sister betrayed her. Imagine Ylva, while still bounded by the vines, giving Freya a pleading look as Odin was casting her exile 😭😭

midnight: What keeps your OC up at night? Do they have nightmares? Fears? Anxieties? What do they do in the small hours of the morning when they should be sleeping?

During their mission to retrieve the Gjallarhorn, Heimdall almost dies which made her realize her feelings for him. On their journey back to Asgard, she would wake up randomly to nightmares of him dying. She’d scoot over his sleeping form and touch any part of him before going back to sleep. Funny how her nightmares turned into her dreams a few years later.

Fears and anxieties: being an outcast as a child, she has this fear of not being accepted by her peers. She’s a people pleaser.

I imagine Ylva making a snack and sitting by the fire if she can’t sleep.

Tell me about some of your favourite dreams!!

Idndksks OMG I HAVE A LOT

I mean...most of them would be some goddamn tooth-rotten fluff with my favorite characters hehehehe, comfort sleep~

But sadly I don't remember some of my best! When you wake up and know you had an awesome killer dream and then you're just...not remembering it😔

And in general some dreams are just sooo damn confusing and stupid that I have to like them, no matter how horrible they are because damn my brain made that up??

But let's make a quick list here with some of my favorites (or simply dreams that are tooooo damn weird to not share) that I can think of right now:

- I in general have this dream where a magical medieval-kind-of world clashes with ours and then I just live in my house and go to school but some of our streets are just linked to an old market, ancient shops, a small village or even noble residences or palaces!

And then (for some unexplainable reason lmao) the prince or duke or whatever just decides we're engaged now to unite our worlds

And then it's all just chaos because OH NO HE'S HOT and then I'm like WAIT GIRL GET A GRIP and start screaming stuff like omg how dare u force me into this, what about my family??? My cats?? My LIFE-

And the dude is always so passive like ok sure, they can live here or close by, and you can still go to school...or we'll get you a private tutor (one of them literally was like I can buy you a thousand kittens) which makes me even more angry cause hello?? Could you at least pretend you care about my mental breakdown?? I'm your goddamn fiancée you rude bish-

And then I give in and we all grumpy and stuff but eventually we get over ourselves, mostly because I get harassed and he defends me and I realize he's not that much of a rude idiot or he almost gets assassinated and I save his ass because sure, I'm a much better fighter with a sword than a damn prince or duke...uhu brain, makes sense

And then he's like hmmmm, maybe she's not a total bitch, after he complained the whole dream long about having to marry me (even though he chose me - _ -)

I actually had that dream two days ago just...this time when he almost got killed...I had a gun💀

- one I had rather often in the last time is some celestial being wanting to control earth

He originally went for a kid from my school and controlled them to get some information because he needs puppets or sth.

So a small group from our class and all of their families literally decided to take him down lmfao

My family didn't know so it was a weird kind of oh dear! School is longer today because of a workshop! and I'll meet up with friends now! or I still need to finish a project at school!

And then there were undercover missions were we tried to spy on him and find out who in our group he controlled (because he had inside information no one should know about jsncksmskxckks) which ended in stuff like me having to run to the bathroom because oh shit, why is my family suddenly in this restaurant, I said I was studying, this wasn't the plan!

This particular failed mission ended with the celestial guy just walking in the toilet and telling me to stop following him, and then he gave me a hand kiss and disappeared

You can probably already feel where my shit brain was going jxnckskkss

So yeah...in the end POLT-TWIST! He was controlling me while I was asleep and I didn't notice cause I'm a deep sleeper djcnksms

Sometimes when I dream it, dream-me is aware he's controlling me but I can't talk about it because otherwise he might kill everyone I like and love (I know, real cute dreams I have cjdmdkkdls)

And then he started world domination and literally asked me to marry him while everything was burning around us and everyone else was screaming

And for some reason I suddenly wore this super fancy dress...also I said yes because dream-me has no common sense at all! 😭😂

- weeeelll...the one I had a week ago or so was...um...special

We where in this camp with other families and kids and we all knew each other for some unexplainable reason

We made a trip to an island where there were monkeys and other wild animals and they were in really bad health

And after we got back the guide told us to never ever go to that island again?? Buuut me and a made up sister of mine sneaked out at night and used a literal teleporter to get to the island and we watched the animals

We did that every night from there on until I suddenly decided they needed to get off of that island

I lied to everyone that the island was completely and utterly shitty and that the trees were plagued and the animals were suffering, I mean...they were but it still was a lie in my dream (yes, I'm aware, it makes no sense)

We were all jogging on some path all of a sudden and I tried to convince my mum to go and get the animals but they all were against it

So me and my "sister" sneaked out at night again but the transporter didn't work and teleported us to a parking space

It was so damn dark and our families were there and were talking

My sister ran to a car and opened it and before I could get in too some chained up criminal that was chilling there screamed that we were there and to stop us

And I told my sister to drive without me and she drove out of the parking lot and then a truck just drove her into another car

So dream-me did what everyone would do and decided to turn myself into elsa and her into anna and I used my ice powers to keep the car stretched so she doesn't get squished

Unfortunately another truck rammed into her and...she died (it doesn't make any sense tbh)

Then I ran back to the teleporter and it was able to travel through time now - _ - so I saved my anna-fake-sister and then suddenly everyone was ready to drive to the island with boats and get the animals?? Like ok thanks for the unnecessary drama, now I'm fucking elsa because of u guys

Fucking elsa that petted a jaguar and lost her arm but then the dream reversed and this time he just walked past...survival skills on point

Anyways, it ended with my family and me being back at our house and wondering where to put all the animals because they're dangerous and OMG THEY'RE GONNA EAT MY CATS-

...and then I woke up💀don't want to know how it goes on anyways cjnsks

- okay so in general the first dream I mentioned is a favorite, the second one is just...I don't know, I like it because of the story I guess? And the third one is so damn weird and confusing that I couldn't not mention it (sry to disturb you)

BUT!

Together with the first dream I have two others and those three are my truly big favorites!!!

- So, my dream consists of one of my favorite characters (one that has some sort of supernatural power) to fall into our world djgjkdk

I know, I know, I have loads of world-jumping in my dreams but it seems like my brain is trying to kind of give it some amount of..."sense" lol

And they get like...trapped in an object, because they're not supposed to exist in my world

So in my dream I find that object, most of the time it's a necklace and sometimes a bracelet or a ring and we start to communicate through it and I'm able to use their powers

And at first they're pissed because they are trapped and I'm carrying them around all the time after all, but then I always work on finding a way to free them and in exchange they help me with my homework or simply my everyday life and then we get along better

- And the next dream is pretty similar, they fall into our world, they get hurt, I find them and sneak out of the house to visit them and take care of them

They're all grumpy because why tf is this girl even here

In the end we get along better because we got to know each other

But I also get sucked into their world very often!! And those always end with the both of us getting yeeted into our world in a life threatening situation and me having to introduce them to my family...they are not amused >-<

So yeah, that would be some of my favorite dreams ^^! They all end up to be some love story with my comfort characters or absolutely lucid dreams that haunt me for the rest of my life. Do you have any dreams to share?
