"Glass Houses." A metal tune using some crunchy guitars, NS/Stick bass, and my best metal drumming, and my absolute best metal vocals, which is very much still a work in progress! Metal vocals are a new thing for me, and I promise to keep working on them and getting better. All instruments banged into cacophony by me. I've uploaded the lyrics into the closed captioning for you to turn on if you'd like, and I'll paste them into the first comment as well.

Fractal video made by Steve Sink and Laser Fractals, using Mandelbulber, After Effects, and voodoo black magic. The cubes' size is synced to the audio, as is the glow and an alternating texture that morphs along to the beat. The gold and tan texture for the fractal surface is actually a full-on view of a skyscaper's windows at night--the very tallest of Glass Houses--that is then wrapped onto the 3D surface of the fractals.

フレットレス半分はステンレス板ですが、メロディ側のフレットと同じ高さになるようにネックを加工します。オプションとして+$700になります。

下記の動画は Don Schiff がハーフ・フレットレスNS/Stickで奏でる「Riding Off The Rails」という曲です。2008年ごろのプロトタイプでのデモ演奏ですので現在のハーフ・フレットレスと少し仕様が違いますが、参考になると思います。

Menger Fold V2 with my "Rocket Red."

I was hoping that lyrics would magically get written and then vocals recorded but the fractals were rendered and I decided to head out the door with "Rocket Red," which is done musically except for the hugely-needed vocal component. Maybe a tiny bit repeated in parts without the vocals to change it up but still a good instrumental tune.

I'm my biggest critic and I'm loving the output that's come out of me this last year or two of COVID. I went the first 9 months without writing a single tune because of the existential horror and angst of it all, then apparently got used to this new living and my output has been some stuff that I've really, really liked. I'm also my own biggest fan (and sometimes only fan) as well as biggest critic--and being ignored is worse than being criticized so even hurtful criticism is at least attention. Hey, it's all part of the artiste package of insecurities and creativity. I, at least, was able to skip out on the deluxe artiste package of Depression, and merely got the smaller boutique package of Anxiety.

But all that aside, the play's the thing. Here's Fractals and Music, Menger Fold V2 and "Rocket Red."
