KOKIA in flashback - 2005

After a busy year, 2005 is slightly calmer for KOKIA. There is no full album release this year, although she does release two new singles and features in other projects. She has been performing more often over the last couple of years, and that trend definitely continues from now on. It may be in preparation for next year, which will prove to be a big milestone in her career. There are also some events for the movie Origin: Spirits of the past (Giniro no kami no agito ('silver-haired Agito') in Japanese), for which KOKIA provided the opening and ending songs. But we'll see those again next year!

Soohyuk just woke up you were still sleeping he kissed your forehead and he got up and made breakfast for the both of you

Soon few minutes later you woke up with a delicious smell of soup and rice he came in the room and gave you a breakfast in bed .

"Jagi ya good morning " he kisses you on the cheek

He smile and you went to wash up and then ate breakfast " yummy did you make this!?"

He nods and brushes your hair

He gave you a back hug and kisses you

And whispers " are you ready for our fun day today~?"

You turn around and look at him and smile "what's the plan ?"

He says " go change I'll take you out "

You were exited because everytime going out with him it's always fun he also went to go change and he waited for you downstairs

You walk down stairs and smile at him and you held his hand while walking out the door you locked the door he started the car and you got in the car .

You have a habit of taking naps on cars so then you were listening to your favorite song

The first stop

"Oh your awake " he smiles you hugged his arm cuddling it he kisses the forehead

You both got out and went in the cafe he bought drinks for both of you and you sat down and started cuddling the puppies

An hour later

You wave good bye to the dogs and gave them hugs and kisses and hugs soohyuk also did

The floor above the cafe was karaoke store so you went in sing a song and he did too

DWC Day 4 - Exhaustion

Kiela all but collapsed on the sofa in her chambers to catch her breath, still in her messy fighting gear. Someone will certainly have a fit to clean up the mess, she wasn't sure if the furniture could be salvaged, nor did really care at the moment. She wouldn't have to stay long now, with her promise of aid to the venthyr noble Argo N'aar as good as fulfilled.

The pyromancer stretched and finally removed her outfit, cleaning up herself with a cloth and belting on a robe made of some fine material. She had no idea what it wa smade of, but wearing it didn't make her many cuts and bruises feel worse and that was enough.

After days - well, it certainly felt that long, if not longer, though it was always hard to tell the passage of time on this side of the veil - spent on the battlefield the Maw became, she was bone-weary and the thought of sleeping in a proper bed was irresistible.

Kiela had no idea how long she had been asleep when a knock on the heavy door shook her awake.

"Who is it?" She grumbled, her voice still laden with sleep.

"Ah, it seems I woke you up. I apologize," Ancalime bowed once the door was opened to let her in. "You weren't at the debriefing, so I came to check and make sure that you are alright."

"Sorry... and thanks. I was just so tired, needed a nap. That's all, really."

The venthyr woman wasn't convinced, as a duelist for her lord she coudl easily spot Kiela's slightly stiff movement. "I take it you didn't get healed completely. Do you wish for me to send for someone allied to our covenant to take care of those injuries?"

"I'm fine, really, no need to bother anyone. Just some small scratches and bruises, nothign big or it would have been already patched up on the field." The pyromancer answered with a sigh, Ancalime's focus still unnerved her slightly despite them working together for some time now.

"Very well. Just two more things and I'll leave you to your rest. The first, and no doubt of more importance to you, is that Lord Argo officially counts your promise fulfilled. You have more than proven yourself as a capable ally and... how did you mortals say it? Ah, yes, paid back any care you received from us with interest. The chamber is still yours to use, take as long as you need to recover... and are always welcome back, should you end up in Revendreth eventually. The outfits are also yours, feel free to take them with you if you've taken fancy to any. They don't fit any venthyr anyway."

The pyromancer couldn't help a smile at they way the woman was looking for the right words.

"Thank you. In all honesty I don't plan on dying anytime soon, but I will keep the offer in mind." Kiela chuckled, flashing her fangs, one that Ancalime returned with a small grin of her own. "Agan, thanks, I don't have space to take them all, but the modified duelist garb grew on me, so don't be surprised to find it missing ocne I'm gone."

"Duly noted. The second thing is my own personal curiosity, you don't have to answer if you don't wish to." The woman paused, letting her words sink in. "Valkia noted that compared to the others who also called themselves mages, the fire you use for your spells felt... different. Stronger."

Kiela's smile vanished, replaced with a frown. She could just keep silent, but Lord Argo and ancalime were trustworthy, so she opted for the truth, or at least parts of it.

"She's correct. The source of my fire is different compared to them, just I'm probably a bit more unique. It has to do with my parents. Does this suffice?"

"Yes, thank you for sating my curiosity." Ancalime bowed, not pressing for more, something the pyromancer was glad for.

"That was all. I'll leave you to your sleep now. In case we don't meet before you leave, it's been an honor." The venthyr bowed once more and walked away to carry out whatever duty her lord and consort assigned to her.

Kiela nodded, exhaling once the door was closed once more. She was free to leave, free of a weight she carried so far. She'd have to notify her sister to meet up in Oribos... but that could wait.

The pyromancer crawled back into her bed and was asleep a few seconds later.

💬 Xports News: Highlights from Interview for the 'Promising Star of 2018' Segment' - on Just Between Lovers, Monsters, and The Wrestler (by reporter Lee Ayoung)

Xports News met three promising new stars who are expected to shine in 2018, coinciding with the Lunar New Year. These include Park Gyuyoung from JTBC's drama 'Just Between Lovers', Jo Seunghee from OCN's 'Meloholic' and SBS's 'Bravo My Life', and comedian Han Yoonseo from tvN's 'Comedy Big League'. We heard their goals and resolutions for the year. Interviews with Park Gyuyoung, Jo Seunghee, and Han Yoonseo will be sequentially released from the 16th to the 18th.

If you're a viewer of JTBC's drama 'Just Between Lovers', there's a supporting actress you can't forget. It's Park Gyuyoung, who played the role of Somi, an employee at the architectural office where Ha Moonsoo (played by Won Jinah) works. Although somewhat annoying, she is not disliked, and her bubbly yet not over-the-top behaviour blends into the drama, adding vibrancy.

"I'm calmer than Somi in real life," says Park Gyuyoung. "When I went to the set, the staff treated and welcomed me just like Somi, so I always felt 'uplifted'. As a result, quirky expressions and playful actions came out naturally," she reveals the secret behind her lively acting.

Her formal training in acting began after she was scouted as a trainee by JYP Entertainment in 2015. She got noticed by the magazine 'University Tomorrow' after uploading her pictures on social media (SNS), which led to her being featured on the cover, and subsequently, her current agency proposed the path of acting to her.

"I never dreamt or even imagined acting, as I didn't think it was my field. But I got a good opportunity and have been enjoying it. If I hadn't gone into acting, maybe I would have graduated from school and gotten a job? I think 'University Tomorrow' was a somewhat fated move."

She debuted in 2016 in singer Jo Kwon's music video 'Crosswalk'. Following that, she appeared in dramas like 'Suspicious Partner', 'Solomon's Perjury', and KBS Drama Special 'Kang Deoksoon's Love History'. Even with limited screen time, she had a noticeable presence. In 'Just Between Lovers', her solid and natural acting made it hard to believe she had only just over two years of experience. Comments like "she's a great actor" were often seen. Could there be a better compliment for a rookie?

"It really, really made me happy. Among those, I still remember comments saying '(Her role) fits her perfectly'. It was almost overwhelming. There's still a lot I need to learn and improve on, so it's a bit embarrassing, but it feels good, and I can't hide that."

She grew through praise from senior actors on set from actors such as Lee Kiwoo and Won Jinah. Park Gyuyoung recalls, "That was really empowering and fun." However, she shyly smiles, attributing her success more to the script than her own skill.

"Compared to those who have majored in acting or have long experience, I have less experience, so I think I only know how to melt what I have into my roles. My expressions are also based on how I usually am with friends or parents, as I'm quite affectionate with them. I still have a lot to learn, study, and research, like methods of creating a character."

Before filming 'Just Between Lovers', Park Gyuyoung had completed two movie shoots and appeared in several dramas. She had a non-speaking role in 'Suspicious Partner', but many people remembered her.

When asked about her charm, Park Gyuyoung shyly smiled and replied, "It might be my bright smile." She added, "But I'm more contemplative than I appear, and my voice is lower than one might think. So, I want to try more serene and emotional roles, not just cheerful ones."

She is looking forward to the releases of the movies 'Monsters' and 'The Wrestler' this year. She's a star recognized first by the screen. Furthermore, the film magazine 'Cine 21' named her as 'the most noteworthy newcomer of the year.'

Hearing that, she thought, "Why am I considered a promising actor?" She was curious about who else was selected. "There were really famous people too. It's unbelievable and still doesn't feel real. But, I think I should be ambitious. It won't be easy, but it would be a lie to say I don't have any ambition."

'Monsters' is Park Gyuyoung's film debut, where she played dual roles. "It was my first time, so I was overwhelmed, but I created a path through many conversations with the director," she said. "It's a precious memory. I'm excited too, as I haven't seen the final version yet."

In 'The Wrestler', she appears as Lee Sungkyung's sister, sharing meaningful experiences with senior actors like Na Moonhee, Sung Dongil, and Yoo Haejin. During the script reading for 'The Wrestler', she received compliments from Na Moonhee, who remembered her even when they met again during the filming of 'Just Between Lovers.' "Such memories are truly valuable," she remarked.

"Acting is still purely fun for me. Being on the set made me realize there's more to consider. One thing is, just as the senior actors treated me humanely and helped me feel at ease, I want to do the same for nervous juniors when I become a senior."

This Lunar New Year, she plans to spend time with her family in her hometown of Busan. Her parents are her number one fans and monitors, supporting her in everything she does. During the broadcast of 'Just Between Lovers', her family had a chat room where they exchanged real-time comments like 'cute' or 'this one is a bit off'.

Her goal for the year is modest. "In 2017, it feels like I've slowly shown that Park Gyuyoung exists," she said. "In 2018, I want to show more of my capabilities in more media and better roles."

currently watching ocn chimera, it's not bad and i definitely want to get to the end of it but at the same time i have ISSUES with certain things as in:

the mum's storyline being unnecessary and so forced, when will kdrama writers realize that not all characters have to be involved in the main storyline especially when it's a crime thriller. you mean to tell me that out of nowhere the detective's mum is involved in the case that casually his son is trying to solve, besides it being unrealistic (which we can forgive bc dramas don't have to be realistic) it's just annoying and superfluous. instead of this i would have liked more screentime and an active and participative role for the journalist!! the only thing she did as far as i've watched was give a couple of leads to the male lead and that's it, she doesn't have much to do otherwise

female lead's trauma is .... err idk. again it feels unnecessary for the build up, her personality doesn't add much to the storyline per se which makes me go. why. again i would like to request to kdrama writers to build their characters a bit more than that, a past trauma is not enough nor it should be all that there is to a character

i absolutely love the doctor's character, he's my favourite so far and i'm loving his scenes w the male lead. also i want more bromance !!!

this is not a negative thing but why does the actor playing the chief of the investigative team remind me so much of cho seung woo, i literally can't unsee it ??? even their voices are similar ???

I am watching a few other shows here and there until I could complete them, but always return to TG for periodic recharging, despite one or two of those other shows being “better” than even TG.

Still, after watching the early episodes of The Cursed, I just had to make another pit stop at TG. TC is okay so far, but certainly nothing which will surpass TG, and that is completely fine. Just needed to come back for a bit to relish the beauty of TG and KGY. 🥹❤️‍🔥⭐️🥰
