He was inexplicably lightheaded; he’d nearly forgotten how to breathe. “Pardon me.” “Oh,” said the man. “Fuck.”

So that’s what angels look like, Ed thought as his eyes slid shut.

When Edward Teach woke up on a remote beach, the last thing he expected was to find a strange blond man who lives alone in a lighthouse shrouded in permanent fog. Stede shows Ed the life of a solitary lighthouse keeper, while Ed tries to unravel the mystery that is Stede Bonnet.

I worked with the incredible @feriowind to write this story for the @ofmd-reverse-bang this year! Their art grabbed me from the moment I saw it, and getting to writer this story has been incredible. I truly think it is some of my best work! I hope you all enjoy it :)
