Olivia Nicole is a TikToker by the name of @ olivia2005nicole2 recently took to TikTok to describe how she had to go through a suicide assessment after her teacher used the N-word in the middle of a class discussion. In the video, the TikToker can be seen in front of a green screen. No faces are seen during the conversation, but there is a discussion about race. Someone, apparently a student in the class, tells the teacher, "It's not even the right flag, it's literally rooted in racism." "He does too !" says the teacher. "You are both rooted in racism, all of you." In the comments, the TikToker clarifies that the "flag" was the "Confederate Flag."

When the audio ends, the TikToker says that the teacher was someone he "loved so much" and visited "every morning." She says that during the conversation, she sat next to the student who recorded her. The TikTok further describes how she returned home after she had to have "a suicide evaluation after had that talk." "It is what it is. I'm tired. I'm so tired. I had to quit my job because a white woman called me that. That word hurts people. I don't understand how a professional can say that in a room where you know there will be black people. This is a teacher I visit every morning, I call her mom and give her hugs, "she says, adding that she had to part ways with a best friend whose boyfriend threw the word racial at her. "I don't understand your obsession with the word all of you," she says. “This is stupid; you are an educator. She paused before saying it, so she clearly meant it. It's out of my hands. "His post has received over 181,000 views and 2,400 comments. White, someone wrote," The teacher felt too comfortable saying the word, "another user said," They always say 'it's just a word', But if it really was just a word, they wouldn't want to say it so damn. seriously." In another recent incident that exposed the prevailing racism that continues to affect black people emotionally, two white men allegedly harassed a black woman in a supermarket in Texas while she was working for Instacart. A video of the incident posted by TikToker @ deekotapa0 last week has been viewed over 2 million times. In a video of the incident, which allegedly occurred at a Kroger store in Dallas, the woman can be seen yelling at a white man in a blue T-shirt, presumably after the harassment has already occurred. These incidents are not very rare, as there have been several cases of harassment and discrimination online since Covid-19 began. People complaining about mask mandates in stores have been the most common refrain. In June of this year, a video capturing a fight at a Walmart went viral. The shocking video showed a Walmart security worker hitting a customer after the shopper apparently spat on him.
