INSTAGRAM: MARINA SHOWS OFF MAISON KITSUNE x OLYMPIA LE-TAN SWEATER
As mentioned in a post earlier, Marina is currently staying at Palm Springs (in a bungalow titled "Diamandis"!) to celebrate the release of a film her friend worked on. Here's another cool outfit of hers!
Marina's ivory cable knit sweater with crest on the front and striped sleeve ends is a piece from the Maison Kitsuné x Olympia Le-Tan Spring/Summer 2023 "Sweet Souvenirs" collaborative collection! Unfortunately, this preppy piece sold out a while ago.
She also wore the Maui Daze tropical print bikini bottoms by Freya.
Next, the Versace Medusa Biggie black geometric sunglasses with gold-tone heritage Medusa medallion ($345.00).

The flower oil painting phone case has no label which makes it available just about anywhere! Here’s one example.

This week's Disney hotel is the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel. The hotel's website mentions that its decor is inspired by Art Deco, which also inspired this outfit. To get some inspiration, I looked at the fashion worn in the Art Deco-themed TV show, Agatha Christie's Poirot, specifically the "Triangle at Rhodes" episode.
Starting with a pair of white, high-waisted, wide-leg pants, which were popular with women in the show, I paired them with an adorable poplin cropped top with a bow in the front and puffed sleeves. This top has a certain vintage flair that complements the pants well.
For the shoes, Oxford shoes were quite popular for exploring places, so I chose these silver ones to add a bit of chic to the outfit. Clutches were also big back then, so I opted for one with an English cover of Proust's "À la recherche du temps perdu," which was written around the time of the rise of the Art Deco movement.
To add some sparkle, I included these Chanel pearl earrings, as both Chanel and pearls were trendy during the Art Deco period. Finally, to protect yourself from the sun, I added a wide-brimmed sun hat that perfectly completes the outfit.
Overall, this outfit is perfect for a day out exploring the hotel's grounds or the park. It's elegant, timeless, and has a vintage flair that adds a touch of sophistication to any occasion.

Pretty sure Karl Marx wouldn’t be cool with that.
(As much as I love Olympia Le-Tan’s clutches, this choice of cover for one of her clutches seem odd, to say the least. Like, who is going to pay nearly a 1000€ for a clutch that bears the name of a man who would look down on anyone that bought said clutch. Don’t get me wrong, I’m well aware there are some rich folks out there that will buy it without getting the irony of it, some will see it as giving Marx a big middle finger, while others will buy it because of their pseudo-intellectualism. Even so, it just feels like a weird choice.)
