Someone posted a clip featuring Nobunaga from the Naotora Taiga.
The context of the scene was the famous story where Mitsuhide blundered when in charge of a banquet to welcome Ieyasu. After that, apparently in the drama Nobunaga decided to then personally serve Ieyasu’s meal himself. Naturally Ieyasu and his vassals becomes mortified by it.
I have done the movies list before and now I feel like how about the doramas hehe well anyway as always these are all my opinions, we all have different opinions so don’t take this too seriously. Doing this 4 dorama per post just like before with the movies.
Here we go~
ONNA JOUSHU NAOTORA | RATING: 10/10
- I've mentioned this before that I'm hopelessly obsessed with Suda Masaki which was the main reason I picked this up
- Surprisingly I really got hooked with this, I don't usually watch lengthy dramas but wow I felt like I wanted more of this
- This is the reason I started watching NHK dramas
- I loved this so much after watching the whole series I became interested with the Ii clan and searched about them haha
- The cast was great too!
SOREDEMO IKITE YUKU | RATING: 9/10
- This show was full of emotions, you can say its sad but its still close to reality I think
- The ending was inevitable also I can not think of any other ending for this. If the leads ended up together I think its going to go against the whole series' point about repentance and forgiveness.
WATASHI GA RENAI DEKINAI RIYUU | RATING: 8.5/10
- 4 ladies, 4 different stories tied up as one through a common goal
- I like the variety of the characters and how each was different even though they all are looking for love
- Nothing too much here, not too cheesy, not too emotional just right
YUME WO ATAERU | RATING: 8.5/10
- I think this is Nana Komatsu's best portrayal. It was a character that is totally different to her usual roles and she still slayed it
- Mackenyu dancing omg and her love scenes with Nana OMFG
- The story is also nice and kind of leaves you with a question at the ending
>>>Check this tag for the movies and this one for the dorama
So, I’m watching "Naotora: The Lady Warlord" and I was really enjoying it in the beginning when they were little kids but haven't enjoyed it so much since the timeskip.
There was too much focus on the awful Naochika/Naotora romance. Naochika wasn't even a great character. And when that's finally over they turn the most likeable character (pic related), Tajima who they constantly have had suffering, into the villain for some reason. That just made caring for Naotora even more annoying now that she's actually doing shit. At least it seems like he's going back to his old more sympathetic self next episode (15).
I tend to like Kou Shibasaki, but she just isn’t doing it for me in this series. Mostly due to the direction they’re taking her character. There have recently been some moments that should’ve been cool but I just can’t bring myself to like them because of the antagonistic role they have Tajima playing for no good reason. Even if they wanted to give him this role, they could’ve gotten to it in a better way or made his thought process more clear. Hope this series picks up, but as it stands it’s a very poor successor to Sanada Maru (a series I absolutely loved).
映画『ブレイブ -群青戦記-』特報【2021年3月12日(金)公開】/ Brave: Gunjyo Senki
High-schooler Nishino Aoi is a history nut who's in the archery class at his school. Due to his skill in archery, he sometimes thinks that he's more suited to be in the Sengoku period of Japan. When a mysterious fog covers the school, Aoi gets his chance to experience the Sengoku period first hand as the entire school is transported to a time period Aoi believes to be the eve of the Battle of Okehazama (where Oda Nobunaga crushed the powerful Imagawa and rose to power). So things are not as bright as he might have imagined when Samurai and foot soldiers stormed the school. Will Aoi and his friends be able to survive this deadly era?
Naturally, Oda Nobunaga will appear in this film and I’m pretty excited to see Miura Haruma appearing as Matsudaira Matoyasu aka Tokugawa Ieyasu, as I loved his role in Onna Joushu Naotora and could not think of a better actor to potray a young Tokugawa Ieyasu.
...I didn’t know fanart tagging for Taiga dramas (on Twitter) is a thing, though I have yet to look up whether these hashtags are official. Most of them (bcs there must be more aside from those I’ve discovered) include the kanji 絵 (e, which means “drawing”) in the hashtag. The ones I’ve discovered so far are:

It was blazing hot today, but I survived the heat. The exhibit was amazing, and I learned a lot. ( 💓∀💓) Also, despite the exhibit featuring the Ii clan, it felt more like a Tokugawa Ieyasu and The Four Heavenly Kings exhibit. They displayed the following armors: Sakai Tadatsugu's, Honda Tadakatsu's, and Ii Naomasa's (Toramatsu). If you're wondering why Sakakibara Yasumasa's armor isn't part of the exhibit, it's because his armor is on permanent display at the Tokyo National Museum in Ueno.
