I RLLY LIKE PADLOCK & FAIRWINDS AGH could u tell us more about them :00!!!??!!

OHHHH OF COURSE!!! Padlock is one of my very oldest characters and was the first resident of calendertown I ever drew!! It's hard to remmebee how much I've said and how much I havent- as well as how much I should share(spoilers!!) But he has this.. thing... with luck! He made a deal once with someone he shouldn't have and has been burdened with 50/50 luck ever since! He teeters between being horribly unlucky and infuriating lucky from day to day! He's not a big fan- and one time they dropped a mirror and oh! It was a whole thing... 7 years bad luck and all that but!! That is all I will say for now.. he loves his daughter very much <3

Fairwinds is a bit of an old crumudggeon really!! In an early draft he ran an aquarium train??(their was a pun their I think at some point.. he was a conductor/lighthouse keeper? Unsure!! Padlocks sister has actually always been calenders rail jockey so I'm not sure where I was going with this plot line!) He spends alot of his time at the lighthouse and dosent get out much.. quite sad really I think!! He used to go on adventures and was inspired by the Disney duck comics moby duck for awhile.. I think he's grown a bit!! Not as young as he used to be.. he looks wistfully at the sea often..

#oh and yes! padlock was actually originally never a chicken at all!! they were a red headed pochard and based off gladstone gander!! #actually his mom was a pochard and his dad was a whistling duck!! but then well.. chicken puns got the best of me!! #i think it suits him more :) #calendertown #knicknacks #GoingPostal #fairwinds bay #padlock keykard
