No --- the answer was simple. She couldn’t do it no matter how hard she tried. Her body was weightless yet frozen in time, her heart was beating slowly, echoing against her chest as she felt herself being lifted up off the bed. Wait, who’s bed? The sheets were itchy and cold and ... lonely, no, she wasn’t in her own bed nor his. The realization hit her at the same time a sharp pain in her arm stung, causing a small, weak sob to escape as she gripped to his arm for dear life. “What’s going on?” Her breathing was ragged, her body beckoning her to sleep in the form of a small voice in the back of her mind making it sound as if it were okay. Please, stay awake --- she could hear his voice, feel his warmth and sense the concern dripping from his tone. It was coated in a sense of anger, a raspiness that she’d become familiar with after he’d raised his voice but she said nothing, she could say nothing besides allowing the numbing feeling coating her body, flowing through her veins. Keiko --- he could hear the stern tone he used, snapping her into some form of consciousness that was still to form some kind of words.“I didn’t -- “ She felt the need to explain herself, she felt this strong urge to hold onto him even as her body continued to slip away, every pore connected to her skin making her feel weightless as if her spirit was simply slipping out in a last ditch effort to escape. “I didn’t have a choice, Micah, “ She was coughing, her lungs heavy as if water was pooling inside of them, looking for a means to drown her in her own explanation as the memories flooded her just the same. He’d taken the needle to her arm, left her in a room with a junkie and told her to enjoy the newest product. Penance for trying once again to get out of the game. Punishment for wanting to live her life. Her body was weak and lifeless, sleep overcoming her as she could hear the car door slam, not a care in the world as she looked on, her head hitting the window as the ability to hold herself up just seemed...so unnecessary. “Where are we going?” She already knew, and even if she didn’t, there wasn’t a chance in hell that she would be able to hear him anyway. “Keiko, you need to stay awake ---- “ another reminder, he’d said it before, she remembered suddenly but everything was just peaceful even as the car rushed down the street, she’d wondered if he’d just take her home, into bed so that she could curl up under the blankets, drift off and who knew if she’d wake up in the morning, the drugs pumping through her system told her not to care.“Micah --- “ mouselike and slurring, her eyes fell shut again against the glass of the car window, the sound of an ambulance in the distance, the hospital nearby. “Micah I.”’m so sorry, I just, “ she paused again, a deep, almost blissful breath being pulled in that was cold against her throat, “They told me I had to, it’s just who I am. @paperdoll-hearts

WE ARE NOT FRIENDS….haha kidding. I love you and here’s me publicly declaring that for all of tumblr to see. Don’t get use to it though.

Grant Gustin - Flynn fucking O’Malley. I feel like I should really, really hate this boy but honestly– I don’t. He’s a man hoe and very much a rich and arrogant prick but he’s also got that sweeter side to him once you manage to peel away his layers like an onion. At a surface level he makes me want to scream at my computer and hate on him completely but once you actually delve into his personality and get to know him you see he’s actually a really, really, really well developed character and so many things about the way he acts and his personality just suddenly click and it all makes sense. I hate him, but much like Vera I also love him.

Armie Hammer - It’s probably going to sound like a living under a rock…which honestly, I probably do but I’d never actually heard of him before coming to Rockford. Then again, the majority of my opps seem to derive from fc’s that I haven’t really heard of or know much about and end up really liking. Armie Hammer is no exception, plus Tripp’s a really cool character. I think he might have been around when I first joined before he “left” for a little while? If you’d shown me him and his personality when I first joined the rp I would’ve probably said I’d never find myself in a ship with him but the original friendship he’d formed was Vienna was too cute to deny and now look where we are. Tripp’s just a total sweetheart when you actually get to know him and manage to get past all his weird flirting techniques. He’s super fun and cheeky and all around an awesome bubbly person.

Shantel VanSanten - First of all, her face-claim? What a freaking babe. She’s super gorgeous as well. It’s been over a year now since I’ve been playing against Roxanne and let me tell you– she’s absolute wifey material.  Just overall a perfect human being and the type of girl you’d want to wife up immediately. I could probably go on and on about her, but honestly, I feel like that sums her up perfectly.

Matt Czuchry - I freaking love his face, like, no kidding, he’s so handsome. I’ve played against him twice. The first time however was for like, a hot minute and that only lasted about 2 weeks before the rpg closed down but I was super looking forward to getting to know him because he was a bit of an asshole character with a soft spot for my girl but then again, that didn’t last long at all. I’m currently playing him against Rose now in a 1x1 but we’ve only done like 2 replies to it’s too early to call on that one but knowing Rose I’m sure I’m going to love him once we eventually get into the nitty gritty.

Michael Trevino - The first time I crossed paths with him was when I was in a rp set in Boston. He was a firefighter who got injured in a building collapse and couldn’t remember his wife properly so starting fucking another woman. That was…. interesting. Since then, Patty’s playing him currently at Rockford. I don’t know too much about her character yet so it’s a bit early to tell but so far from what I’ve seen I love. Plus, he’s Declan’s best friend and the ultimate Declan and Roxanne shipper so how can I fault him in Rockford so far? :P

some life updates

Sorry for the unexpected absence, y’all.

During the last weekend of June, drift partner and I were out of town. My parents are getting ready to move states, so we had to sort through some stuff (it’s very possible that there will be posts about my collections of old toys, particularly G2 My Little Ponies, in the future) and do all that; more importantly, cosmic twin got married. It was a lovely, small wedding and we had a wonderful time despite the intense heat.

Unfortunately, traveling led to both drift partner and I catching Covid.
