That's interesting, anon. Those two men specifically are interesting. Sora escaping Germa in and of itself is always a great start for anything. Giving her a better partner??? Better. Amazing. A warlord and the first commander of the Shirohige?? Amazing. In love. Clearly i have a favorite but I think i'm biased to actual pirates.

Sora x Crocodile. Arguably one of the best business men in the crime world being with a woman who was a queen. She's headstrong and incredibly capable to get herself and Sanji out and then, coming from a warmongering kingdom, she helps Crocodile throw a coup and capture Alabasta. She doesn't like it but she does. Crocodile spoils them to no end, it's all in private of course. He doesn't want people touching what's his after all. Sora dotes back by having things made to soothe the ache of his stump and learns about even deadlier poisons to put in his hook. Sanji has tutors and classes that rival the former princess' and he is loved and cared for. Sora is given the best medical treatment he can find and more. Also could you imagine Sora in the mob wife aesthetic??? Dead, gone. She is serving so much that Crocodile routinely has to buy her clothes because at the end of the day he rips them apart.

Sora x Marco. The more I think about this dynamic I love it. Marco finding them and bringing them to the fleet to take care of them and is absolutely keeping his fire steady on the woman as he checks her son over. The other commanders keep checking in on the CMO and First Commander as he takes care of them. Sora getting better because of Marco's fire who is remarkably laid back for his position within the fleet and his job. Sora and Sanji spend a lot of time on deck with White Beard who easily welcomes them to the family and enjoys Sanji basically being his grandson and he constantly gives Marco looks with eyebrow waggles that make his son look back with the most unimpressed looks.

When they do eventually get together they party so fucking hard, Marco and Sora take it all in stride but when they get married? It's fucking headline news because the party lasts more than a week. It's a fucking mess because it alerts the Navy and Germa that Marco is married to Sora and they have a kid. Marco takes their care personally as husband and father but also he just does that with everyone. Having the Phoenix fruit probably makes that man so warm so he has his arms wrapped around Sora and uses it as an excuse to keep holding her just 'you're so cold dear' 'let me warm you up, you northerners can't retain heat' 'gotta keep you warm, love'. Marco just loves showing off his wife and kid to the fleet.

KH Headcanons 1: Preferred Diets

I wasn’t kidding when I said I had dumb ones-

Sticking with the main three trios for now but open to writing for others.

Sora: Will eat literally whatever you put in front of him, he isn’t picky in the slightest he just likes food. Fav food: Mac n cheese

Riku: Generally tries to eat healthy but suffers the occasional junk food craving. Very much likes cooked fish. Fav food: Baked trout

Kairi: Fruit! Lots of fruits! Is surprisingly picky with her food, but will eat any and all fruits except dates. Tomato is a fruit and she loves it. Fav food: Fruit Salad (specifically with pineapples)

Roxas: Has very little experience trying different foods. Like Sora he’ll eat what you give him, until he eventually has a chance to build his own preferences. Likes salty things. Fav food: Seasalt ice cream (did you expect anything else?)

Axel: Lots of spicy foods. Will literally burn his tastebuds off. Make it sweet and spicy and he’s in heaven. Doesn’t like bread at all though, but he’s probably healthier for it. Fav food: Sweet & Spicy chicken curry

Describe your sock baby’s growing social connections to friends and family members. How does your baby interact with other sock babies or adults? Are they growing friendships and relationships with others well?

He's friends with Pineapple, and on okay terms with uncle Rose. He enjoys getting to see his great Granddad and great Granddonna (even if he's annoyed by Granddad jokes). He knows he is supposed to be a bit wary of his Granny Virginia and great uncle (Grunkle?) John, but they're fun. Unfortunately, the reason he finds them fun is that they are very permissive. He's also expressed sadness and disappointment that he never got to meet his grandfather.

Which stage of moral development is your child? How do you know? Is your sock baby exhibiting behaviors or thinking that reflect Kohlberg and/or Gilligan’s moral development theories?

He's in the early conventional morality stage. He's begun to care about gaining social approval, but luckily, has fallen in with a good crowd.

Reflect on the gender roles your child might be learning from growing up in your home environment or by other social interactions they experience. 

He has now been exposed to cisnormativity and heteronormativity at school long enough to not be just bewildered by it, and is now familiar with typical gender roles. However, as he has good influences at home, he disagrees.

What aspects of your schedule did you change or have to exclude your baby from the most? Who were some people you trusted most with your child if you could not be around? Why?

Chorus concerts, Cocaine Bear viewing. I did not leave him alone unless absolutely necessary, but I trusted my paternal grandparents (he has not been allowed yet to meet maternal grandparents, because they are on another level of permissive, with Gid being so negligent that he literally was not there for my mother's childhood). I did not trust Mama or Uncle John, who are also bad influences. I would trust other sock baby parents who demonstrate good, authoritative parenting, like Boris, if I had to go to the bathroom without Gary. Unfortunately, I sometimes had to trust people I didn't really know well, just because my options were so limited and they were a better option than my Mama. I left him in the lights/sound booth at my last Chorus concert with one of the Theatre teachers and some other guy who is somehow involved in the Theatre, and I left him with someone named Lime who I assumed was one of Sora's friends once for a few minutes so I could go get lunch, because they seemed excited about the concept of babysitting him. They also had tooth earrings and a tooth necklace, which made me believe that they are qualified for alien care. I also left him with my lunch group once, with Addison and Owen in charge, just because they seem like the least likely to teach him arson or something for no reason.

OH HEHEHE YOU ACTIVATED MY TRAP CARD I CALL "GIO ACCIDENTALLY DECIDED TO STAN THE TWO CHARACTERS THE FANDOM LIKES TO CLOWN ON THE MOST" and

its. actually pretty simple, really. it's a thing i like to call "the characters literally don't know what we know" like one look at xehanort and i think anyone, people who didnt play kingdom hearts, would know he isn't good -- but he was introduced to terra as an old friend of his father figure, a very powerful keyblade master, the one who brought ventus to the land of departure AND the only person who didn't talk crap about him when it comes to his dark power

second, everything bad terra does was because he!was!manipulated!! both literally and magically speaking, with maleficent doing her little thing that he IMMEDIATELY feels bad for (unlike hmmmmm kh1 riku who i think still owes an apology or two to some poeple in my humble opinion :^) ) and psychologically, again with master xehanort casually managing to mansplain manwhore manipulate his way through in a moment in which terra was feeling confused and left behind, if not straight up backstabbed by his best friend and his father, who he later sees trying to actually fucking murder ventus

while i'm at it, sidenote, but while KH3 and DR are REALLY trying to make us forget about this little plot point by giving eraqus a fun personality... master pineapple in BBS was a terrible person who could've solved EVERYTHING by opening his goddamn mouth and explain things to his children? like i know its a KH trend to have old assholes be absolute bastards and then games later try to give them an half-assed redemption arc when nomura remembers we're supposed to care about them, and i'd argue that with eraqus he's doing an okayish job compared to others *coughansemcoughyensidcough* but he was!!! awful in BBS

rant over let's return to my boy terra. i've seem people compare his arc with riku's in KH1, which is fair, but i also want to remind everyone that KH1 riku was an ass even before the destiny island apocalypse while terra, even in his darkest (HAH) moments, always tried to act in the best way possible, being nice and polite even to those who didn't really deserve it like the evil queen in snow white

No one in their right mind would be out on a night raging with a snowstorm, arguing over petty things at the top of the rocky Twinpools mountains. No one, except a trio of the oddest companions you wouldn’t usually find across Eorzea, all of whom shared similar paleness that could blend in with the whitewashed scenery.

If only they weren’t too busy bickering with each other to enjoy the winter wonderland.

The singer was a wind-up minion in the likeness of the Queen of Shadows, Scathach, with an air of haughtiness that didn’t diminish with its miniature size. The subject of its merry song was a snow-white chocobo that failed to camouflage into the background with its bright red barding, reminiscent of the one given out at the Starlight event in Gridania a few days ago. The leader of the trio, a female Xaela in tuxedo with a monocle eyepiece that didn’t quite suit her, snatched the minion off the air and threw it violently at the icy ground.

“K-Kweh.”

The chocobo shuddered, nudging the Auri girl gently with its beak before moving in closer, ruffling its feathers against her. It clearly didn’t like to be out in the cold, and it wanted to snuggle up to its owner for warmth. The Xaela then turned her attention to the chocobo, ignoring the spluttering wind-up Scathach that finally poked its head out of the snow.

“Come on, you’d never know if you didn’t try! Shiro would make a fine addition to the Chocobo Choir and we’ll have the gils rolling in no time!”

“You only want me to ditch Shiro for the money. Not happening.”

Sora Amariyo gave Juno the talking-toy Scathach a death glare, then she—they—pulled out a letter from their pocket. They could recall the frantic delivery moogle that dragged itself across the stone ground at Falcon’s Nest to pass the juice-stained envelope to them. They also felt a little sorry for scaring the poor fellow when it called them ma’am because of their physical gender. Sighing, they glanced down at the yellowing paper to read its contents for the third time today.

Dearest Sora, How are you? It has been almost a year since the last time you visited the children at Menphina’s Arms. They really missed you—and I miss you, too. The stories of your grand adventures keep them in high spirits while you bring back collectibles and gils to the orphanage. We’re literally thriving here! I can’t thank you enough for all your help—now I don’t have to break my teeth on the frozen pineapple pudding I’ve been trying to save for weeks, and I can share them with the other kids too! Tucking the letter into their pocket, they glanced up at the night sky. A hint of disappointment flashed across their face; they wouldn't catch the aurora lights tonight with the snowstorm roaring around them. They shrugged, hopping onto Shiro’s back with a determined look.

“Alright buddy, it’s time for work.”
