For the ❄Fallen Snow🩸 AU, the older ferals had a large room renovated into a special room for them. And it looks like a giant cat room.
Literally.
The floor is covered in blankets and pillows, heating pads under the plush carpeting in case it is really cold. There are smaller rooms/huts inside, like those made for cats, with fluffy floors and a rounded dome to cocoon it. Scratching dummies and posts, and bridges spanning the walls and above the floor, cat-condo-like structures all over the place, one in the center, one in each corner of the room, full of small rooms with padded walls and platforms with soft rugs, even hammocks large enough and strong enough to hold all of them. There are plenty of plushies too, for the younger ferals, when they can't immediately have the adults with them. (They missed/miss Reader, and having plushies made/make them feel better, just a tiny bit, so they could/can hug something and pretend it was/is Reader, and that they could be around them again).
Have the adults ferals sometimes put the younger ones into their instincts or drugged them before, so they could cuddle them and take care of them completely without any fuss or crying due to guilt or doubts? Yes. Have all of the ferals fallen into their instincts and spent that time acting like pack animals or littermates, snuggling together and grooming each other and napping in one snoozy dogpile? Also yes.
Logan/Wolverine and Victor/Sabretooth did everything they could to become better, so they wouldn't fail the other kids, especially their remaining cubs/pups/kits. They knew they would never stop having nightmares for what they'd done, and the guilt would never leave, but they would do their best to help the remaining kids, and take care of them they way they should have from the start. So did all the other adults, too.
When Reader is found and brought back, they have plans to get them to relax in this room, and if needed, they can get Hank/Beast to help trigger each feral's instincts, or they can sedate Reader, too, maybe both, so they can all try to work on building up trust and rebuilding their relationships. All they have to do is take it steady and slow, and be patient. Be loving. Be gentle. This is what they've wanted to do since that awful night, and now that they have that chance to right their wrongs, they aren't about to turn it down...

Yandere Wolverine and Laura and baby reader who's a squirrel mutant
That is so fr*cking adorable! Little chittering squirrel baby and their two wolverine guardians. They so give them all the best nuts: pecans, cashews, Brazil nuts, almonds, etc. . They can't help it! The baby needs to eat, and they like nuts! Let's do this:
They had a new mutant at the Institute. One who was a feral, like them.
Well.
Not entirely.
They had a big, bushy tail, two small, perky ears, and little buck teeth. They were a squirrel mutant...
And also the cutest one they'd seen.
Laura enjoyed their company. They'd tell her anything and everything, sharing small rocks and pebbles and coins they found while eating a bag of almonds, their little nose twitching every time she made them laugh. She liked them even more because they weren't scared of her, or her history. They gladly accepted what she told them, with them promising they wouldn't trade her for all the nuts in the world (even the yogurt and chocolate covered ones). She saw them as her own buddy, her own little sibling, if nothing else.
She just sometimes wished her father would let her be with them in peace.
He was taking a tray of cooked, buttered pecans out of the oven, earning a thrilled squeal from the small child, who darted into the kitchen, watching with wide eyes as her father set the tray down to cool.
Logan liked the little fuzzy feral. Liked them even more when they got along with his daughter. It certainly helped that they had manners and had wide, warm eyes. (He wasn't soft, no siree). (Yes, he was). He had taken to making or purchasing novelty nuts, giving them to their resident rodent. He smiled every time they thanked him, then tore into the bag like a wolf on a fresh kill.
The two realized a few things when they almost once fought over their little squirrel-ling.
One, they both cared as much as the other.
Two, they woukd do anything to make them smile.
And three...
They could share with the other, thus upping their protection by double.
They WERE family... and they'd happily be family with their little nutty squirrel child as well. Heaven help the poor idiot who tries to upset them...

In the ❄Milky Snow🍼 AU, an ABO AU for ❄Fallen Snow🩸 AU, Creed!Reader would be more distressed, as right next to their trauma and dislike of the platonic yanderes, they'd be dealing with their instincts, as well as pushing them down and trying to ignore them. It's bad enough they were denied most, if not all, of their childhood, it's bad enough that they had to raise themself after they escaped, it's bad enough to have to deal with their deepest traumas and insecurities and nightmares, but add to that their instincts that scream at them to hide and stay as far as they can from the platonic yans, to keep themself at a distance from every living being, yet have urges, the need for attention and care and love, which they haven't felt in years, if ever... It feels like too much, so it's easier to shove it down and keep it forcefully under than to try to feel what they feel, to put up with anymore issues than they already have.
The moment they're with the platonic yans, they're stuck. They can't leave, as they're always dragged back. They won't eat, as they don't trust them not to poison them or hold feeding them over their head. They only feel fear and panic and the need to run when they even smell the others, let alone when they see them. Their instincts cry for attention, for love, to be wanted and protected and cared for... But they won't willingly accept it from these people, who've only ever shown their hate, their anger, their absolute disrespect for Reader and their feelings. Reader doesn't trust them not to go back to how they used to be, and aren't willing to give them a chance in any form.
The platonic yanderes take problem with this.
They want to take care of Reader, to be friends with them, be family, be pack. But their past actions had consequences, and this is one of them. They won't stop trying to prove their regret, that they've changed, that they only want to love Reader now, instead of hurt them. When Reader keeps running, refusing to eat, and hiding for days, that's when they reach a tipping point. Reader doesn't trust them and won't even stay in the same area as them, and they keep hurting themself, refusing to eat or to stay warm inside or to even talk about their feelings. So, the adults decide to finally step in, and try a new method...
They didn't want to start with this, but... maybe dropping Reader into their instincts, getting them into their pup state-of-mind, would help them. At least they would be easier to keep an eye on, and to take care of. They wouldn't mind dropping themselves into their instincts either, if it meant they all could forget the past and their fears for a moment and just be able to relax, to care for Reader and the other cubs and pups,, and to keep themselves from going insane over the fact that they've caused so much damage (they were already kinda insane). Trying to nurse/feed Reader was already rejected before by Reader, but if they were just... put under... drugged enough to calm down... to let themself be taken care of... the adult ferals could for once take care of them and not be fought over it. They could actually be close to their cub, all of their cubs, and start to rebuild trust, to stitch together what bonds were left, and try and start over...
Reader, if they ended up sedated, would be annoyed as long as they could (until a heavier drug is used, or are dropped into their instincts). They aren't up for "cuddling" or "nursing" or "talking about their emotions". Are these people crazy? They HATE them, don't they? Why keep up the caring act? Except the platonic yans don't stop, and just keep going along with trying to "care" for them... Reader tries to fight it, tries to get away, to stay in charge of their urges...
But the platonic yanderes have plenty of sedatives and drugs to keep them calm and relaxed and soothed, and have enough blankets and hugs and milk to keep their cub/sibling/friend/ward happy. And the moment they actually manage to get Reader under, to have them finally give in... they're still scared, upset, but they're so much more receptive to their care, and they can finally shower them in all the affection and love they can...
(You can bet that Reader in this state is kept in the special room the ferals have that I've previously mentioned, the giant cat room-like room, and you can bet they're being snuggled between their "siblings" and "dads")(Remember, Wolverine and Sabretooth are brothers and platonic, no inc*st, they just decided to both adopt and parent Reader and Laura and Kyle)(Please don't be weird about it)(They also technically adopted the other X-Men and Brotherhood teens, too)(They just have their own special rooms, that aren't the feral room)(They all cuddle and snuggle and get tangled up in a large huggy mess of arms and legs and blankets and pillows and plushies)(Wolverine and Sabretooth are Omegas here, and they want to nurse all of their cubs and pups)(Whether the cubs, pups, and Reader, want it/accept it or not)

Saber Anon. Kit reader likes to snuggle especially in their sleep
Oh h*ck yeah they do! They're a cuddle buddy. (Not to mention they make little baby animal noises in their sleep). Be they a baby, a toddler, a preteen, a teenager, or even a young adult, you can bet that the platonic yandere feral/s are keeping them around during nap time. How could they peacefully nap without their favorite kit? Especially since they don't try to run or bite them while passed out in the blankets like a tired kitten.

yandere Laura and Sabertooth and child reader who is a hummingbird mutant
Woo! I like what you're thinking! And those two would have a doozy of a time trying to keep up with a hummingbird mutant Reader.(May I call you Humming Anon?) Let's do it:
They weren't sure how it came down to this. An agreement over something irreplaceable, a threat to break whatever broke it (whether it be each other or an enemy), a promise made with blood to decide honor such an important uptaking...
It was a custody agreement, over a young hummingbird mutant. You.
Laura liked you. You were always happy, chattering a mile a minute, all while sipping on juice and eating graham crackers, not a care in the world. You chose to hang out with her of your own free will. You weren't upset when she got things wrong, or weirded out by her trauma. You accepted her as she was, gently hugging her and distracting her with games and fun. You pulled her into games of tag, races to see who the fastest was, competitions over who could drink the most juice. You always included her, even picked her over others.
It wasn't a surprise to her when she decided she would take up being your sibling.
Victor had heard word of a new type of feral mutant running- well, flying- about. A kid with hummingbird wings and jewel-colored feathers, one who had caught the eye of his brother's child. And what good uncle would he be if he didn't go and see them? (He was curious, and if he could use them as leverage, so be it).
He didn't expect to be greeted by sunshine personified, you, a child with buzzing wings and a penchant for sugar. You'd pulled him into a race, and he followed along (he was trying trying chase you down, see if he could capture you). He lost. HE lost? Well... that's new. When you rewarded him with his own box of orange juice for playing along, he came to the conclusion he had to have you as his. A kid who could outrun him, was nice to him despite his fearsome appearance, and had the interest of Logan's pup?
Count him in.
The two ferals found out rather quickly the other had eyes on you, thus leading to their confrontation. Neither one wanted to lose you, especially to another feral, but then, they came to a standstill.
They could simply... team up? Or at least split custody over you. Why not? Laura could be a kid with you and help tire you out, keeping you filled with sugar, and try to bring her dad in on adopting you... While Victor could teach you how to use your powers, giving you an idea of how to defend yourself, showing you new places and treats, and also driving his brother into a protective frenzy, thus sealing the deal that all four of you were family...
It's a win-win situation.
So with a blood pact made and a deal sworn in secret, the two older ferals decide to give sharing a try. How hard can it be between family after all?

Yandere Trio Laura, Sabertooth and Wolverine and child reader who has a raccoon mutation
Aha! Yes! They're definitely in for it now! And Baby Racoon Mutant Reader is so fluffy and cute! Let's do it like this:
There was a new feral mutant running about. That mutant happened to be a small child, with a ringed, fluffy tail, fuzzy gray ears, and a dark birthmark across their face.
They were a racoon mutant.
Logan was the first to find them, so he considers his claim the most valid.
Something had been stealing fruits and vegetables from the Institute's garden, so he'd set up a few traps to catch the little vermin. What he caught was not an opposum, fox, or rabbit.
It was a kid.
One that looked like a little racoon.
They were scared, shaking, letting him realize they weren't trying to cause trouble, and they likely hadn't had a great life beforehand. So he does what he can, trying to take them into the Institue. The fight him over that, but the moment he hands them a plate full of eggs and bacon, they stop fussing. What sold the idea of keeping them was when they handed him the bigger pieces of food, and kept shoving it at him until he ate it.
They were a keeper.
Laura meets them awhile later, when she goes to visit her father. She was hoping to find him and try to bond a little bit, perhaps learn an odd life lesson, or try some new thing normal people did (or a not so normal thing the X-Men did). She instead found a small thing scurrying around the kitchen, trying to reach the highest cupboard. Seeing as it was impossible to reach it, she did what was supposed to be good: Opened it herself, took down what was in it (a box of pretzels) and handed it to the tiny mutant.
It repayed her act of kindness by handing her handful after handful of pretzels, taking turns to eat their own handfuls.
She grew attached to them.
They were sweet, not knowing anything about her, and doing something as simple (and something she desperately craved) as sharing.
She would make them her sibling (certainly her father wouldn't say no to that cute face?).
Victor meets the tiny rascal when he's scouting the woods around the X-Men's mansion, looking for weaknesses and seeing if he can spy Logan while at it. What he finds instead is some fluffy tot with a bushy tail and weird birthmark foraging mushrooms and nuts, happily shoving them in their mouth after plucking them off the ground.
The moment they hear him, they turn and look up. Instead of screaming or running or crying, they look at his face, then at their pile of bounty, then pick out the biggest mushroom from it, rolling it over until it lands at his feet.
He's confused.
He's less confused when they point out-
"You smell like Logan. Logan's family is my family."
And how can he say no to that?
A sweet kit, and the first person beside himself to acknowledge Logan as his brother. Plus the kid said they were family first, so what is he or Logan going to do about it? Argue? It would just break their heart (he's using it to his advantage. Let's see his brother get rid of him now! Plus free feral kit, so it's a win-win!).
When the three of them all discover they share the same racoon baby, well...
Laura's fine with it. As long as neither of them butt in with her sibling-bonding time, she'll allow their presence.
Logan wants to fight Victor, but is glad Laura accepts her new sibling (he considers it a present/childhood ceremony for her, and maybe him, too).
And Victor is glad that Laura is fine with him, as long as he sticks to the schedule she made for sharing the little tot, he's less glad when Logan keeps setting traps and the X-Men team on him.
All in all, they'll (barely) tolerate each other, but if the others don't stick to their scheduled time and days with Reader, none of them will hold back their wrath over being cheated out of their time with their little rascal.

It's X Men Evolution for my request
Gotcha! I will be working on it within the next twelve hours, and if not then, within the next two days! Such a cute request! Little baby squirrel Reader making little baby squirrel noises. Just a little guy, who stores nuts in their cheeks as well as seeds and fruit. Logan and Laura likely get them teething rings, specially made to withstand strong squirrel teeth. Those two would have fun brushing their tail and feeding then apples.

❄Fallen Snow🩸 AU... From the Platonic Yanderes' Persepective:
(Warnings: Its the ❄Fallen Snow🩸 AU, so expect abuse, neglect, blood, and a whole lot of guilt. The platonic yans who knew Reader in the past weren't nice to them, and while they do get better, they didn't get better until AFTER they thought Reader had died... Viewer discretion is advised... Kurt, Kitty, Fred, Todd/Toad, and Lance joined AFTER Reader's "death"...)
• They don't think they'd always been that bad. That hateful. Awful. Horrible. Terrifying. Cruel. But whether they were or not... they'd turned into something they didn't even recognize, something that was a shameful, guilt-ridden part of their past.
• For the adults (The Professor, Storm, Mystique, Wolverine, Sabretooth, Magento, and Beast), Reader was... someone they acquired through odd means. They weren't the only one they had brought with them, as there were two others, similar to them, and all three were feral mutants. Yet somehow... compared to how the other children were, their "siblings" and the other kids, they didn't quite click. The kids (Scott, Jean, Evan, Rogue, Pietro, and Wanda) didn't like them much, either.. For both groups, perhaps it was how they talked about odd subjects, or was off in their own little world half the time. Maybe it was their forgiving nature, always smiling and trying to be nice no matter what they all said or did. Maybe it was because Reader was everything they had wanted for themselves, but had never been able to have, had never been able to be... Either way, it led to an annoyance. A dislike for them and their cheery voice and soft eyes.
• With the adults, they found Reader odd from the start. A child no older than five who, despite being an experiment, was not like their "siblings", nor like the other children they had on hand. They were... sweet. Cuddly. Someone who just kept trying and trying to get along and be friends with everyone. They didn't seem to have a mean bone in their body. It made them feel... weird. That they didn't seem to understand they were odd, that they weren't cared about all that much. How could they begin to? They were loud, they were persistent, they never seemed to want to be alone and didn't get what was wrong with the world. Not to mention all of the questions! They were irritated most of the time with them, tired of dealing with the steady stream of constant love and inquiries and attempts to hug them.
• Over the years, it was easier and easier to wear then down, to get them to shut up and stay out of the way. Reader didn't seem all that bright when it came to social cues or sarcasm or jokes or how the world really was, and the kids took every opportunity to poke at those. A few jokes here and there, whispers between each other when they were alone, practical jokes at Reader's expense. It was almost funny, watching them try so hard to understand what they were doing and getting all upset over it. Yet Reader never got angry. Hardly acted like a feral, hardly used any of their mutations to win, to protect themself. They made it so easy to mess with them. It was second nature for all of them to do so. To keep prodding and jabbing at their insecurities and lack of knowledge, earning snickers whenever there was more than one witnessing it. In the present, they all can't stop hating themselves over how they acted. How they were the reason they were gone. And how they weren't coming back. And it was all. Their. FAULT. And they couldn't change it, no matter what they did.
• Being the pseudo "siblings" to Reader made them targets, an easy mark (Laura Kinney/X-23 and Kyle Gibney/Wild Child). So they made it so they were the ones over Reader, the ones who were in control. The ones at the top of the heap. They didn't stick up for their "sibling", and they didn't intervene when the other kids messed with them. Why should they? They did it, too. Reader was at the bottom of the pecking order, be it with the kids or with the feral mutants in general. Just because they were a part of them didn't mean they'd stop. Didn't mean they'd coddle them or let their weakness rub off on them. Shoving them aside and staying away from them was natural for them. It wasn't their problem, and they weren't about to lose their own place just to help the most useless mutant they'd met. In the future, they'd wonder why they weren't more attached. Why couldn't they have stuck by their side, protecting them rather than shoving them into the deep end? Without Reader... where did that leave them? They were the only other one like them, someone who had tried to comfort them and befriend them, never caring if they got hurt in the process. Never holding their own shortcomings against them. And now they were gone, and it was awful, and they had one less pack member to run with.
• For the two older feral adults (Wolverine and Sabretooth) to teach Reader had been a task. They were someone who would rather hug someone than try to fight them, a kid who had to be told multiple times what to do, had to be walked through everything, and who seemed to fail almost every time when it came to being aggressive. Their annoyance ran deep, which turned to resentment, which turned to anger every time they saw them. How was THIS creature anywhere near related to them?! How was this thing even worthy of their powers? They were useless, pathetic, weak. They had some points when it came to strength and bite force, but that was a drop compared to the ocean of mistakes they'd made. The river of problems they were. Hating them didn't take much more. And how they'd hate this, looking back on it. They were monsters. There was no other way of saying it. It was their own fault, for pushing and forcing them and always yelling at them. Always letting their cub know what they thought of them, compared to the others. And they were left with a rotting, agonizing self-hatred for themselves. If they hadn't been so hard... If they hadn't been so cruel... Maybe their kid wouldn't have been dead, with no body to bury or mourn...
• No one was quite sure what led to the wounding of Reader. Perhaps it was a scalding lie, or pointing their fingers at each other until it eventually fell on them. Or maybe it was because they could blame it all on Reader, someone who couldn't defend themself and who no one cared if was punished. But when Reader had been dealt with... They were a different person. Someone who shook whenever the adults came by. Who kept away from the other kids with no prompting, walking the other way when they came by. They didn't speak unless they were asked a question, and they didn't look directly at anyone anymore. And their face... Where the skin was once smooth and unbroken, there were deep, rouge-stained gouges, a mark of their new change. It was welcome at first. Finally, they shut up and learned how they all felt. Until-
• They left.
• They left, in the dead of a snow-washed wintery night, leaving as fast as they could and not looking back. And a few of them pursued, chasing after Reader, who they knew was going to be in the largest load of trouble since two weeks ago, when they'd been taught their lesson. When they found them, they were at the edge of some rocks, a river close by and roaring below, and they all felt their ire grow. The adult/s demanded they come back, so they could be done with it. But Reader just stepped back, their arms folding up against their chest, eyes wide like a fawn caught by a predator. They'd demanded again, then again, yelling-
• CRACK!
• The rock fell out from under Reader, who screamed, high and terrified-
• And they were gone, swallowed by the raging waters below, bits of red and pink dotting the foam and surface, soon fading as the river roared on...
• Then suddenly... they weren't so angry anymore. For once, they felt... scared. Hollow. Horrified. It didn't matter when the adults ran over, checking over the remaining ledge and scanning the icy waves below, shouting loudly. It didn't matter when the kids who were with them peered around each other, trying to confirm what had just happened had actually happened. Nor did it matter when they searched the shores of the river and found nothing, save for a few pinkish bits of foam and shards of ice, carrying the scent of iron and frost. All that mattered was Reader was gone... And it was their fault. They had- they didn't mean- it was an acci- what- No matter what excuse they thought of or fleeting emotion they felt-
• Reader was DEAD. And they had no one to blame but themselves.
• The adults after that were... quiet. Sullen. Almost as though in a trance, like they were stuck on that night, like they couldn't get over the fact they saw one of their own kids just die right before their eyes. The kids weren't much better, trying to seek any comfort they could, whether they saw the death or learned it had happened. That winter was blistering cold, as though even the elements were numb and in disbelief.
• This was something they'd joked about... This was something that a few might have talked about... But now that it had actually come true... They didn't feel like laughing anymore. If anything, they felt like crying. Like curling up in a ball and disappearing from the world. This was- it was their fault, wasn't it? Thats what they all believe. If they'd reached out, or- or tried to befriend them, or maybe just treated them better, hugged them back once, they wouldn't have ran, and they wouldn't be frozen in the river, lost to the cold and quiet and night. But... maybe if they even HAD stopped them from running... who's to say they wouldn't have tried something else? If they thought they couldn't leave... would they have done something worse? Would they have actually-?! They feel sick thinking about it, throwing up when they can't stop themselves from imagining it. It's a nightmare, what they're living, and there is no waking up from it.
• The adults slowly start talking again, interacting with them and calling them all together... But according to them, they all... They all are going to try and be better. They say they never should have pushed them so hard, they never should have yelled or forced or neglected their emotional needs. That what they'd been doing before stops there, and it ends there. From now on, things are going to be different. And this time, they're going to learn from what happened. That no one is going to make the mistake they made again.
• They keep their word. The adults grow into caring, more loving figures. They listen to the kids, who turn to teens, and help them. If their views are different, they don't yell or roar or rage at them, don't force them to agree, they simply agree to disagree, and let them know they're there if they need to talk. If the ferals go into their instincts, instead of attacking each other or turning against the others of the facility, they go to a special room where they can simply go through their urges, cuddling together and trying not to cry or hurt themselves for what had happened. The teens become more understanding, caring individuals, being friends rather than foes, and help each other, staying careful of each other's feelings and boundaries. The adults are there, always trying to steer them away from danger, hugging them if they want it (even if they don't), fixing them food if they're hungry, playing games with them, and when they train, it's as a group, as a family, rather than as rivals stuck together.
• Somehow, about three years after Reader's death, a few of them had been exploring at a new area, where the river had run by. It's cold, being so close to it, and it still haunts their dreams, along with a blonde child with bright eyes... Yet one of them finds something, caught in the branches near an old den, sharp and thorny: A piece of cloth, tattered and withered by the wilds, but speckled with rusted brown... When they bring the tattered remnant back to their home, it's inspected, but when the adult ferals look it over... Their eyes go wide, and suddenly their sniffing it, soon looking at them and asking them in a desperate voice where they found it. The moment they say where it was, the entire group is called together to discuss something they haven't discussed in so long... The piece of cloth, it has Reader's scent... So there is the smallest, tiniest chance that... Reader might have survived, after all.
• It doesn't take any prompting for them to pull some of their team members together to form a group to investigate the area they found the shred of cloth, and to scout out the surrounding towns near it. If Reader did survive... they hopefully wouldn't have left the region. And if anyone had seen anything odd, such as a child with claws or a wet bedraggled cat of kid, they would likely remember it (and if they wouldn't share what they knew, they wouldn't mind threatening them to make sure they had every bit of information about it they knew).
• Searching the region, it's clear to see it is mostly desolate of human life, save for small towns hidden in valleys and forests, full of snow-capped trees and icy slicks of ice, flakes of snow falling down like rain. When they stumble on a tiny town surrounded by chilly woods and freezing weather, is when they finally catch word of someone who might have been Reader... A lone child, always quiet and scarred, who brings in pelts and bones for a living... Investigating further, the people say the kid has a family, a sickly parent and a relative who takes care of their schooling when they drop by, but that they've never seen them before. According to the kid, their family is paranoid, leaving them as the only one who isn't afraid of going out and making ends meet.
• Well. It seems they have their lead.
• And when they find a cabin, old and worn and wet, the air is scented... And the smell is one they haven't smelled in three years. Soon, a person can be seen, a lanky teen with long, scruffy blonde hair and bright eyes... The moment they see them, everyone freezes.
• Seeing them again... Seeing how scrawny they are... The scars that mar their skin all over... The hunched shoulders and wide, scared eyes... A scent that turns sharp and acidic, tainted by thick, overflowing fear...
• "Reader..."
• In a flash Reader bolts, darting into the cold woods, not slowing even when they call after them, not stopping when they go after them. Reader keeps a step ahead, fast as a hare as their feet carry them over rocks and past patches of ice. Even trying to dart them doesn't work, the tranquilizer thumping into the snow beside them. The snow keeps falling, dusting them all in powdery white flakes as they follow. The teens who came along fall back when the two ferals signal them, letting then know they'll handle the situation... It doesn't take them much longer to find Reader, cutting them off as they block off either side of the small clearing. And what a moment it is...
• Reader is so... small, compared to them. It doesn't help that they shrink in on themself, their fangs bared and eyes fearful. They can see the scars across their face better now, sliced in and deep, a different color than the rest of their flesh. It's hard, seeing them this way. They're too thin, too shaking, too fearful. Even scars line their arms, as though made by an object rather than by accident... And they realize that even though Reader has been away, they haven't been much better off...
• "Oh cub... What did we do ta ya?"
• Trying to step closer only leads to their cub stepping back. It doesn't take more than a heartbeat for then to try to dodge past them, swift and desperate-
• But one of them manages to snag them by the back of their shirt, dragging them into a hold. They try to reason with them, try to talk them down from a panic attack, being as gentle and sincere as they can. But nothing works. No promises of peace, no begging to help them, no pleas to calm down and give them a chance... None of it works. And they fight them. Sharp claws scratch at them, all while Reader struggles, screaming and wailing and biting, not stopping in the least. They try to do things without force one more time... But when their cub only cries harder, they know it won't go anywhere. Their kid is too deep into their trauma, too scared, and the most merciful thing to do is to cut it short.
• The syringe is jabbed in, quick and sharp, and pulled out a second later once it's empty. Explaing to their cub that it was only a sedative makes them cry harder, a broken sob escaping them. Their struggles grow wilder for a minute- until it starts to slow down, as the drug takes effect. They pat their head softly, a hiccup escaping the cub as the medicine calms them down, making them tired and relaxed. Feeling the way they slowly relax, their limbs slackening and their breaths slowing, a tired mumble coming from them... It isn't what they want, but they can't deny how right it feels, getting their kid to feel better. To soothe them when they've been hurtin'. When the cub passes out, slumping into his arms, he's every bit careful and soft, picking them up and letting his brother lead the way back to the others, alerting them that they have Reader with them.
• This isn't how they wanted it ta go... But... If this is what it takes ta keep 'em safe. Ta make 'em feel better. Ta take care of 'em... So be it. All that matters is helpin' Reader, keepin' em safe an' fed an' well, makin' em feel loved an' cared fer. They might have ta be a little forceful about it. That's fine. They'll be as gentle as they can, an' make sure their cub can't hurt themself er others. They'll keep 'em happy, they'll make it so they know how much they care. Even if it takes a lifetime, they'll keep proving how sorry they are, how much they missed 'em, how much they love them... They might well be immortal... Who's to say their cub isn't, too? And this time, they're all going to be a family. No more fighting. No more rivalries. All of them, together, will make things right. That's a promise that they won't break, no matter what comes their way...

The platonic yanderes I've mentioned before all have nicknames and relationships with their bby (a.k.a. you, the reader!). How they met their bby is considered a special, life-changing moment in their eyes, and they are protective in their own... special... ways. But that story will come at a later date. For now, I think I should delve into some smaller stuff , so let's explore the type of humor and nicknames between these platonic yans and their bby:
• 🧡Wolverine/Logan Howlett🦡: nicknames for his bby: pup, bub, darlin', shortstack (regardless of if you are shorter than him or taller than him)
Nicknames his bby gives him: Lo, Old Guy, Wulv, Mr. Cigarette Duet (the bby might have either been testing the waters with that one, or under anesthesia. People say weird things under that stuff)
Their humor: dry humor and small quips
• 🦁Sabretooth/Victor Creed🦷: nicknames for his bby: cub, fresh meat, whelp, kitten
Nicknames his bby gives him: Vic, Large Lion Man, Shere Khan, Mr. Backstabber (both literally and metaphorically, bby has seen him do both, it was messy)
Their humor: cat puns
• 🦡Wolverine 2.0/Laura Kinney💛: nicknames for her bby: fox, pearl, sibling-in-arms, honeybee
Nicknames her bby gives her: Laurel, Kin-ship, Baby Claws, Little Badger
Their humor: stand up comedy (where you pretty much do a spoken caricature of your life, poking fun at it, or something that happens to you)
• 🐺Daken/Akihiro🌀: nicknames for his bby: beautiful, doll, handsome, my favorite (insert sexuality/gender)
Nicknames his bby gives him: Wolf Guy, Seducter, Nature's Child, Lone Wolf (the bby calls him Seducter because they found out about his pheromone ability. And yeah, the bby poked fun at the fact it failed on the bby, because they aren't attracted to him in the least like that)
Their humor: quips and movie references
• 🔥Marvel Girl/The Phoenix/Jean Grey🦚: nicknames for her bby: sunshine, dear, sweetie, firecracker
Nicknames her bby gives her: Miss Marvelous, Venus, mind games, Jeanie
Their humor: inside jokes
• 😎Cyclops/Scott Summers🚨: nicknames for his bby: kiddo, shortstuff, kid, gremlin
Nicknames his bby gives him: Scout, Shades, Laser-Light, Ruby in the Rough (bby wanted him to feel good about his power, so they say those nicknames in a nice fashion)
Their humor: puns all the way
• 🥈Cable/Nathan Summers🤖: nicknames for his bby: tiny, powerhouse, tyke-bomb, brat (he means these nicely, even if he is gruff and stern)
Nicknames his bby gives him: Back To The Future, Terminator, Metal Man, Mr. Robocop (bby couldn't help themself, they saw so many nickname opportunities)
Their humor: banter and witty remarks
• 🎭Mystique/Raven Darkholme💙: nicknames for her bby: child, precious, dear, little heathen
Nicknames her bby gives her: Karma Chameleon, Blue, enchantress, The Blue Fairy
Their humor: witty and dry remarks
• 🎱Rogue/Anne-Marie🥀: nicknames for her bby: suga', hun, love, sweetheart
Nicknames her bby gives her: Miss-Anne-thrope, Marie, Killer Queen, lovedove
Their humor: Southern stand up comedy and phrases ("sweet Southern heat is not just a flavor", "sweeter than apple pie", and jokes of all the various animals found in the South, especially in weird and concerning places)
• ♠️Gambit/Remy LeBeau♥️: nicknames for his baby: Ace of Spades, imp, bebe, ma moitie
Nicknames his bby gives him: King of Hearts, Sugar and Spice, trickster, Jack
Their humor: poking fun at languages and their relationships (the English and French language are hard to master. Good job if you understand half of it, or even a little of it)
• 🌌Nightcrawler/Kurt Wagner😇: nicknames for his bby: angel, treasure, friend, beauty
Nicknames his bby gives him: doll-baby (it is a Southern nickname, it means sweet, charming, and innocent, in my area), Angel of the Night, fluffball, Blue (Da Ba Dee)
Their humor: pranks. Pranks all around
These are all my opinion, and if you get the references, great job! If not, that is okay! These were my ideas of nicknames and humor for previously mentioned platonic yanderes (plus their bby's nicknames for them!). I hope you enjoyed these platonic yandere honeycomb thoughts!

I've done two Backstory!Posts so far, and so here is lucky number three from my current platonic yandere Marvel favorites! I hope everyone who has read the first two are enjoying them so far😊 For our lucky number three, we have Laura Kinney, a.k.a. Wolverine 2.0! I hope I write her well enough. I'll admit, I've seen her in X-Men Evolution, where she first appeared, and in the alternate timeline movie, Logan, based on the Old Man Logan comics. I know some from the comics, but haven't gotten into them much. Let's begin:
• Her life wasn't very friendly. She was meant to be a clone of the Wolverine, yet was born from his genetic code and from the womb of Sarah Kinney. Most of her life had been controlled by the Weapon X program, training her and torturing her to be what her father could not be: their perfect weapon. But she would eventually escape. She would get a chance to start a new life, one where she actually had a say in what she did, a chance to make her own choices; but, before it all, she had to survive through what could only be described as H*ll.
• Her bby is likely a calm sort of person. Someone who is unwavering in morals and firm in their choices. They could possibly be laid-back or out-going, maybe even really loud or really silent. But one way or another, they stay the same. They aren't wishy-washy, and they can rein in any problems or sort out any issue at hand. They bring order into chaos.
• These two could meet each other in a number of ways. They could meet each other in the Weapon X program, with the bby perhaps being a clone/child of another hero/villain. Maybe they meet at Professor Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters. Who knows, the bby could simply be someone who meets Laura at a park or aquarium. For this, though... I'll try to explore the idea of this bby being another type of clone/child from Weapon X... this makes the bby someone who understands Laura in a way others can't, except for a select few...
• And Laura is so glad that she wasn't alone... that there was someone who tried to help her, who didn't see her as a weapon...
• They had a new assignment for her. Something different than the others. It seems they wanted her to meet a new possible candidate for the program, one who was a mutant as well... She shoved down any emotions that tried to wriggle into her head. No. She can't show anything besides complete obedience.
• You weren't having a great day. The people who had you, the ones who ruined your life, were sending their top agent to see you. At least, you think it was an agent. They didn't give them a name, only a number: X-23. You felt dread, but swallowed it back. These people may have twisted you, trying to mold you into something they could control... but they weren't the only ones patient enough to play the long game...
• You let out a soft sigh from your nose. It may haunt you, it may hurt you, but you just have to wait a bit longer... You have a plan; you just have to wait for the right time. Too soon, and everything is lost. With that thought, you hear the door creak open to your cell.
• X-23 finally arrives to where she needs to be. A guard looms in front of the door, but once they see her, they stiffen. She can smell their fear, their disgust. But none of that matters. She is here to deal with her assignment. "I'm here to see X-31." It was hard to believe there were that many experiments... harder still to accept that she was alone here, the program's only working one... Maybe not for long...The guard nods, and opens the door. And behind it, facing them, is the newest candidate for the program.
• They aren't acting hostile. She watches their face, their stance, noting how best to dispatch them if they become trouble. They seem to study her as well. Cool, calculating eyes flick over her, studying her every move. Puzzlement seems to twitch across their face. They close their eyes, taking a deep breath, then open them once more. And just like that, they're back to collected. They nod once at her, the faintest trace of a smile peaking at their lips.
• This... is not what she expected. Is this one broken? She feels annoyance creeping up her spine, but resists it. She will not lose composure over this. All she is here to do is assess the next experiment. And if they happen to be weird, so be it. She isn't looking for punishment over something this small. With a huff, she turns around, leaving the room. She's seen what she needed to see.
• You watch as the girl leaves your cell, stalking out without a word said. You hear the lock click in the door, leaving you alone once again. These people... they had a child. Well, maybe not a tiny child, but that was someone who wasn't even an adult yet. What. The HECK? You take another deep breath, sliding down to sit on the floor. You knew this place was bad news, but apparently you weren't their first victim. A frown tugs at the corner of your mouth.
• X-23 works her way back to the lab, where she needs to update the scientists on her knowledge of X-31. As she reaches the lab, she sees one of the newer scientists pause to look at her with sharp, beady eyes. This one had been a problem for her since the moment they became a part of the program. They tended to find the most minute reasons to punish her, going far enough in some to leave her with a sense of trepidation every time they were in the same vicinity. They had it out for her, wanting to do everything in their power to exert their authority over her, having a new consequence for every small thing she did. Steeling herself, she enters.
• After the girl left, leaving you to your own devices, the guard had dragged you out. Turns out the people in charge wanted to test you themselves, not wanting to waste a moment. They lead you to a dark lab, where a few people dressed in lab coats are waiting for you... along with the girl... you keep a straight face, watching them with careful scrutiny. Two scientists who look like interns, so not major players... one is fiddling with equipment, ready to begin... one who's stoic and straight-backed, probably the one running this... and the one by the girl... their eyes... they're enjoying this... You can see how the girl's jaw is tense when that one is near, a clear sign that the scientist in question has hurt her before. You shouldn't risk anything... but... you think the two of you could do with one less evil scientist in this wicked place...
• X-23 listens as the scientists discuss the information she relayed to them. The one left in charge of X-31 pauses as a guard enters with the aforementioned experiment, bringing them over to be checked. You stay still, even as four of the scientists start to set up, even while the one who hurt her pats you down, noting every detail they see.
• You remain quiet as most of the others go back to their work, leaving you and the other victim to pay attention to the current scientist trying to examine you. You shiver as their hands touch you all over, turning your head and checking your limbs. You hear them mutter under their breath all the horrible things they have in store, how excited they are to have a second test subject... And while they are too busy man-handling you, close enough where no one can tell if you are touching them... you carefully slip something you had hidden on you into their pocket...
• X-23 sees what you did, and just as she plans to call you out... the scientist heading the experiment shouts. They yell for the guards to bar the exit, to not let anyone leave the room. She waits as she and the scientists are patted down, being searched for a flash drive that contains the plans they had for you, something that can't be allowed to fall into any rival organizations' hands...
• And they do find it, on the scientist who had hurt her, and had plans to hurt you... and even as the guards take that scientist away, preparing to dispose of them for this apparent betrayal...
• She keeps her mouth shut. She doesn't know why you did it... if you even meant to help her... but for now... she'll keep this information to herself... And she won't regret this decision... this was how she met you... and she planned to have your back the way you had her's back then...

Due to my last post being a platonic yandere playlist featuring a few characters I like, I've decided to compile a small list of songs here for each character I mentioned! Now, some may feature songs that can be anything from wild to dark to fluffy. But all of it is about that character in particular, or their (platonic) relationship to their bby (a.k.a. the reader, you!). And this is just my opinion. So, if you headcanon different songs for them, that is a-okay👍 We are here to have fun and enjoy platonic yanderes; no need for any arguments. Let's begin (p.s. everyone gets a Christmas song. Just don't bring any arguments here. These playlists are all PLATONIC yandere ONLY. No romance, no sex! Now, yes, some songs are sexual, or intimate. But they are meant by me to be platonic in this playlist, or to show a part of the character who they are paired with. The playlist can describe the platonic yan's relationship to their bby, the yandere themself, or even just songs that fit their personality/theme/tone! If you want to make a playlist on a music app or whatever there is, you can do so, just give credit to me for putting the songs together. The rest of your video/playlist/creation is yours. Here is a very thoroughly thought out honeycomb thought!

Now, my last post mentioned a few characters I like, or at least think would make for interesting platonic yanderes. Of course, to set the mood, some songs might help bring these ideas to life for everyone. There are many choices when it comes to unsettling or yandere-ish songs, and some match the platonic yanderes, while some fit more with the reader. And I think it would be good to set up a small playlist here, with mentions of what songs fit some of the characters I mentioned. It wouldn't hurt, I think. So, here we go:
• Somebody's Watching Me by Rockwell: this songs fit our protagonist, the bby, the darling, our reader! And it sets up how they feel, the proper paranoia and feeling of being watched. Which isn't unfounded, considering what we all are here for.
• One Way Or Another by Blondie: the more upbeat stalker song. This song, for the characters I've already mentioned, would fit Mystique. This woman is a shapeshifter who can spy on anyone and trick many people. If she were obsessed over someone, she is likely to be the stalking type. She will have you, one way or another.
• Every Breath You Take by The Police (or the cover by Courbe): the creepier sounding stalker song. If we go by The Police one, this seems to fit moreso with the likes of Scott Summers or Jean Grey. If we go with the Courbe cover, you have Wolverine and/or Sabretooth. Yep. This song has some of the more... powerful platonic yans involved. They will watch every step of yours, no matter what.
• Never Ever Getting Rid Of Me by Kimiko Glenn, Christopher Fitzgerald, and the ensemble cast of the musical Waitress : the friendliest song here. This song is loving, and waaay more gentle than the others. I imagine this to embody Remy LeBeau and/or Kurt Wagner. And the reader is along for the ride, unable to get rid of them.
• High Enough by K.Flay: yep, this one is for the addicted sort. It would go well with Laura Kinney, Daken, or Wolverine. Yes. That is right. The Snikt Family. And also possibly Sabretooth. Let's face it, these four, if they found someone who could make them not feel the pain, the anger, the rage and despair and bloodlust for even a moment, they aren't letting that person out of their sights. No way. No how. They may use the reader as a coping mechanism, wanting them in favor of drugs, drinks, or violence. They'd already be high enough from you.
• Blank Space by Taylor Swift: the crazy girl sort of song. This one could describe Jean Grey or Rogue, considering they both are powerhouses and can be a nightmare for anyone who screws over them or their loved ones. But who wouldn't be drawn in by Rogue's Southern charm or Jean's caring attitude? They'd be sweet with a darling, but if the darling tried to leave, or were hurt, oof. They really are nightmares dressed as daydreams. If you really wanted, you could even add Daken or Remy with this song.
• Animal by Neon Trees (and/or Courbe's cover): you have an upbeat and terrifying dilemma here. For the Neon Trees version, you have Remy, Rogue, Kurt, Laura Kinney, and/or Mystique pleading with their bby to accept their love, begging them not to deny them. The sweeter version of this song. And then you have Courbe's cover, and we wander back into terrifying. For this side, you'd have the likes of Jean Grey, Scott Summers, Wolverine, Daken, Cable, and/or Sabretooth. They are demanding their bby's love, declaring they won't be stopped, then trying to cajole them into accepting it. No matter which version you go with (or if you like both, like I do) none of these yanderes will be denied. Not by you. Not by anyone or anything.
• E.T. by Katy Perry: the song where you're infatuated with someone so different, so unique, you can't help but want to risk it all just to know them. This song can fit any of the platonic yanderes. Just stick with the Katy Perry only version. This songs describes how the platonic yandere/s is so obsessed, so smitten with their bby. Someone who is like an angel. Someone who makes them feel like a devil. Someone unnatural. Unexpected. The bby here is probably a kind person, or someone who saw something good in them, something different than what others see. And how could they not fall for their bby, the person who sees them as they are, and accepts it, regardless, or because of it? There darling truly is supernatural, an extraterrestrial among the populace.
• Daylight by David Kushner: sad, beautiful, and pleading. It goes for the platonic yanderes, as well as the reader. It is a song acknowledging that what they are doing might be wrong. That it isn't healthy. That they are imperfect, and they have a love/hate relationship over what is happening. Having to hide their darkness, lest it be seen and they in turn be judged or even hated for it.
• Stalker's Tango by Autoheart: when a platonic yandere tries to sell themselves as the one and only (or more, if they have a partner, or are a family/in it together) for their darling. Demanding love, to the point of it being near impossible to deal with. Until you reach the end, and they explain it's not about them; it's about you. There may never be another them, but there will never EVER be another you. Those who would match with this song include Rogue, Remy, and Kurt.
• The Red Means I Love You by Madds Buckley: a love song for the lovesick, ax-crazy platonic yans. It starts out with statements, discussing what others say about the yandere, then them saying their point of view, how the blood they shed, whether it be a victim or their bby's, shows how much they, the yan, loves them. And the yandere is really into bloodshed, from the looks of it. With that in mind, the obvious choices for this song are Daken and Sabretooth. In their eyes, none of what they are doing is wrong. They are simply protecting and establishing their love for their dear darling. Red is passionate. Fiery. Protective. Dominant. The red means they love them, obviously.
• I Know I'm A Wolf (cover) by Courbe: trying to convince the weaker or innocent person to give you a chance, despite what you have done, and who or what you are. This song can involve any of the platonic yans, but it might fit better with characters such as Wolverine, Sabretooth, Laura, and Daken. You could even stretch it a bit to fit Cable, Mystique, Jean, or Scott. An apology, and a plea, for their bby to not be afraid.
• Unforgettable by Nat King Cole (and Natalie Cole!): a sweet, oldie but a goldie serenade of how they believe you are unforgettable, no matter what. They wholeheartedly think you are incredible, just as you are. And they wonder how someone like you could see them (if only in the past) as unforgettable, too. A love song from all the platonic yanderes.
And that is a playlist for any of the platonic yanderes I've mentioned in my previous post (as well as any other platonic yandere Marvel character you have in mind!) And I know I only did X-Men characters so far, but these songs also fit any Marvel hero or villain group, or individual characters! Enjoy the honeycomb thought! (I spent about two to three hours putting this together. And if anyone wants to put these all together and make it into an actual playlist on YouTube, Spotify, or any other app, feel free to! Just please mention which platonic yandere/s it is for, and keep it platonic if you want to use it. Here, we only have platonic relationships between yanderes and the bby, a.k.a. the reader, you!).

Has anyone else been disappointed over the lack of platonic yandere Marvel content? Especially for groups like the X-Men or Fanatastic Four? Now, as I've mentioned in a previous post, I like the X-Men. Part of the reason I have started posting is because there are so little posts of them, or for other Marvel characters and factions, being platonic yanderes. So, I've decided to post ideas and headcanons I've had or want to see more of. And, to be honest, who doesn't want to see some of these characters as platonic yans? Some characters I'd want to make these for include, but aren't limited entirely to:
• Wolverine/Logan Howlett
• Sabretooth/Victor Creed
• Marvel Girl/The Phoenix/Jean Grey
• Cyclops/Scott Summers
• Rogue/Anne-Marie
• Gambit/Remy LeBeau
• The Fantastic Four Team
I also don't mind some of these people's relatives. Let's face it, any one of these characters, plus their family (which depends on the media), were to share a bby, that person would be the most protected person in their group. Some of these relatives (adopted or by blood) would be fun to explore. Some of those characters (which are pretty awesome, and deserve to be mentioned) are:
• Wolverine/Laura Kinney
• Daken/Akihiro
• Cable/Nathan Summers
• Nightcrawler/Kurt Wagner
• Mystique/Raven Darkholme
And these are just a few, to begin with. With all the different comics, animated series, anime, movies, books, and alternate realities/timelines/universes of Marvel, there are many, many possible characters and relations. Heck, in the X-Men MCU, Wolverine and Sabretooth are half-brothers! And the comics played with the idea of those two being related... I think that dynamic would have been interesting.

Hi! How are you doing today?. Can I request some platonic X-Men evolution x23 headcanons please? Thank you for like writing platonic yanderes there's just something so much scarier than romantic yanderes.
Yandere Platonic!X-23/Laura Kinney
Tumblr media
Laura is full of anger and hostility when you first meet her. Can you blame her after everything she's been through?
You go out of your way to make her feel welcomed and accepted. Maybe you eve have the ability to control emotions or you have a calming pheromone that instantly calms anyone you're around.
At first Laura would be a little uneasy about someone putting so much attention in to her but she eventually grows use to your persistence. You don't seem to be afraid of or weary of her and that makes her feel a little better.
She'll slowly open up to you the longer you show that you're genuine in wanting to be her friend. Sooner or later, you will become her confidant, her human diary, telling anything and everything.
Laura will progressively become more and more protective of you. You're her best friend, her first and only best friend and she won't let anyone ruin that.
Spending so much time with you, she'll ever so slowly become addicted to your calming nature and or the pheromone. She didn't know how to feel about it before, but she likes not feeling so angry and emotional all the time. It's nice to just be calm and content, especially by your side.
If you show any interest in dating someone, Laura will either deter you from them or scare them off when you're not around. She doesn't want anyone else taking her place or wasting your time and attention.
She'll often sleep in your room with you, whether she actually shares a room with you or not, she's always there.
Ever since you started pursuing a friendship with her, Laura will follow you everywhere. Isn't that what friends do, go everywhere together and do everything together.
She doesn't even have to stalk you, cause she'll be with 24/7. And from all her pre-existing training as an assassin, she knows how to make her presence known and when to hide, so you won't feel so suffocated, even when she's breathing down your neck, watching your every move.
Laura would slaughter anyone for you without hesitation. They wouldn't even have to do anything other than look in your direction and she'd kill them. But she wouldn't do it with you around, she doesn't want you to witness something like that. And she'd only get caught up with your mutation stopping her.
Laura feels like she has to keep people away from you. She doesn't want anyone taking you away from her. And she doesn't want anyone taking her from you. If she could, Laura would want to be attached to your hip all the time, she may as well be anyway.
All the other students will purposely avoid you because of Laura. When she's not around which is very rare, other people will be more personable with you but it doesn't last long. It's like Laura knows when an outsider of your friendship is talking to you, that's because she does. You're never really alone. Ever.
Laura would be so soft for you. She basically just melts when your around, whether that's because of your mutation or just her being whipped, she doesn't care. She'll let you play and or braid her hair and she'll do the same for you.
Whenever you leave the mansion, she's right by your side, where she belongs. Do you have to run an errand? She'll come with you! Are you going shopping? Laura wants to come! Have a date? Laura doesn't have any plans and doesn't want to be alone, mind if she tags along?
Laura will always find a way to weasel her way into being with and going with you anywhere, doing whatever. And you're none the wiser, just happy that you got through to her and that you're best friends. You couldn't be happier.
You don't even notice the other students parting like the red sea when you and Laura are walking through the halls. And Laura doesn't care, actually taking a little pride in it.
Overall, Laura can be utterly terrifying to anyone outside of you. She won't take any risks of anyone trying to take her place. I mean you purposely went out of your way to be friends with her, so you obviously want her around and she doesn't plan on going anywhere, any time soon or ever.
