Beware of low flying creatures.

Sympathy and Reverse hang together pretty often, Extreme comes and goes pretty fast and doesn't stay in one place too long, but it's nice to see a friend occasionally. Even if they have a habit swooping really close your face.

Postcreated or postcreated creature: Collective term for individually created, supernatural, (mostly) inorganic creatures. Their individual aspects vary wildly but none of them have biological functions. They can be roughly classified to real, surreal and ethereal types.

Essence: The "soul" of a postcreated, which is integrated into their body.

Real: "Skull-faced fantasy critter." Real-class postcreateds are one solid creature, with none to minimal possible floating parts, and may look like biological creature from afar.

Surreal: "Walking metal skeleton." Most often mostly or fully skeletal-looking body, with clear deattached floating parts.

Ethereal: "Semi-abstract whatever." Creatures with usually most abstract features. The defining feature is their forced ability to co-exist with their own side dimension, so their whole existence wouldn't interfere with reality and the laws of physics too much.

Sympathy and a salkahi named Veriki who likes supernatural things. And supernatural things seem to always find him anyway. It is a win-win.

This might be Old TM but this specific image gave Sympathy its name and started this unplanned side story arc about a salkahi family that just have more than usual amount of encounters with supernatural creatures.

This is actually from 2014 but I still like this quite a lot.

Sympathy (skull faced creature) and Veriki (a salkahi). Veriki spent his life studying uncanny and supernatural things, including having Sympathy around there with him and his family. When Sympathy had appeared one day, it had reacted like meeting an old friend when seeing Veriki.

At some point Veriki got thrown back in time due to a magical accident, and there he met Sympathy - while he knew Sympathy, for the skull faced creature it was first time meeting so friendly and unscared salkahi. Sympathy perhaps couldn't offer any too intelligent help but it kept friendly company and was very useful steed while Veriki tried to find his way back into the right time. He spent full seven years in wrong times and places, until got back only a minute after he had originally left, just now being seven years older.
